Yeah they did, the whole family cultist narrative needed some clearer guidance even though the journal does try to help with that. Don't forget the ones with forking arrows. They're quests based on the protag's decision / action. Other than xp and money, they offer some insights of other chars and do not impact the main story. Sadly, that's one of the exact quest markers I was heading towards before they all got mauled by bears and the quest went bye-bye before I ever saw what it was.

And here is my final question and this is more for fun and curiosity and this is also for the level 70 guys who still play Odyssey. But how far are you on the experience bar from level 70 to 71 ? I'm about 3.5 cm from the left so still a looooooooong way to go until i reach the end because of the slowness. And i'm also curious that if you reach the end what will happen will the exp just stop or do you really reach level 71 haha ???

Oooh again something I didn't notice, think I was distracted by the suit TBH. That was bit of a shock. In the book it takes 3 days to die after letting go of the staff and never touching it again. I guess they wanted it to be more dramatic ingame. And yeah, the staff can shapeshift. I wish they had gone with the book where the father was concerned. Three days to bring Kass up to speed, so to speak. She burned his body as he requested and buried the entrance to Atlantis. They could have shown all that but instead we get a 15 minute yakkity yak of quick dumps and an even faster kick out the door. The quest might appear again. I refused to do the first one because I felt the woman was barking up the wrong tree. Her quest is fine, nothing silly but I found her manner and words irritating. With no suitable comeback choices, I refused her. The quest pursued me everywhere until I finally approached the quest giver. Instead of the woman, I found a Spartan commander with a different quest but under the same title.

Ok no idea how to spoiler tag, im away to the corner There are two ways to spoiler tag: 1. Type bracket codes directly. Start with [ spoiler ] then put your spoilery text here and close it off with [ /spoiler ] ^^^ Just do not put those extra spaces inside the brackets. I only did that to illustrate what the code looks like... once the spaces are removed, it actually functions as a spoiler box. 2. If you are on desktop and not mobile, you should see font choices and lots of little buttons at the top of your reply box. Look to the far upper right for a symbol that is a triangle with an exclamation point in it. Click that, and it brings up a box where you can type your spoilery text and it automatically puts in the spoiler bracket codes for you.

At least this would be more believable ... if the staff could not shapeshift because i can think of a lot of things when holding on to something that big would be quite difficult. And i missed that to in the final cutscene with Layla i also only saw the staff i will pay more attention next time.

Don't know if you can really hit 71. I'll see what my actual level numbers are when I open up the game later.

I think your capped at 70 but the xp bar is still supposed to rotate to award ability points.
Better no go above 70 after the amount of resources i've spent 😂😂

So lets see today the first thing which happened to me when I logged in was I continued the merc battle from last night. TWO of them were coming after me for the actions at the fort. So, first one was a level 47 merc...some trepidation followed. Fiancee: "Can you run away" Me: "Maybe" One shots merc in the head. Then the second one was lagging behind so I started moving, and then he showed up so I crawled back to my place, he was an Archer, level 46 and he was a much tougher fight, but I got him.
So thanks to my internet research I found another cultist. This one in Achaia a part of the "heroes of the cult' set. I was like "Yey". Game was like "You have to fight in a conquest battle to get him" Me: WWell so much for not doing those Game: You have to fight for Athens. Me: Goddammit game.
So off to Achaia to try and lower the nation stuff and its in Athenian hands, so once again...oh happy day!...I have to kill a bunch of Athenians to lower their stuff to leave them open for the conquest battle so I can then represent them. So a lot of exploring ensued and well the badguys are a lot tougher up there, I guess they were naturally up to my level. Anyways I was looking for the 'Scavenger coast' just to discover that instead of being a random quesion mark, it was actually one of the mini regions. So that is pretty much where I am, but I think the Nation Leader is close so...hopefully.

So the past few days just been wandering relatively aimlessly, taking contracts from whatever message board wherever I am but guided my places on the map I have revealed but not cleared the objectives. Most are farms because I hate blowing up the food silos, one because it seems wrong/bad but two because the stupid NPC's in the game actively run into the fire and die. Anyway did a few but think I'll just leave the rest as much as I want to clear everything. Decided to go for a boat ride and a storm hit, was a long swim to shore after the boat sunk (yes I know I could have fast travelled but for the hell of it once I swam the length of every river in Skyrim and across every piece of sea - didn't you?) : Was it Athena? Its fun to watch the kids play, talk and practice fighting. I wish there were sub-titles for what they are saying: This merc put up a good fight, I buried her at sea: Sea frogs, not that I have heard of but apparently some have a "tolerance" for sea water: The scenery still impresses me:

Indeed, I am wanting to do the DLC but am also waiting for the Update. Is there a usual date that it drops? I'm hoping for an early update but it's likely to come near end of the month. The last update dropped in the last week of November. Patience has never been my strong suit. Oh well, may start playing the new MEA character I created for a bit as I am running out of things to do and have spent so much time mucking round with my armour and stats I have gottent myself confused to where I am at!!!!!! Damn that reminds me I need to swap an engraving and that reminds me how much I hate that all the blacksmiths don't carry the same engravings or can't do the same engravings as others on particular bits of armour. They need a guild or something to share information.

Anyone remember a blacksmith who will do the 30%Health and Armour legendary engraving????? I have visited 10 so far and none have it, I want to put it on my chest piece, is that my problem can it not go on that piece of armour? I am pretty sure that's where I had it previously.

I didn't even know that different blacksmith did different engravings 😂😂 i just thought they all did what you had unlocked, seems annoying otherwise tbh I wouldn't quite bet my house on it but it has been my experience that it isn't uniform across the game that Blacksmiths all do the same engravings. There have been several occasions when I have changed pieces of armour say boots and wanted to get then engraved with the same engraving as the previous piece yet have had to fast travel around till I found a blacksmith that could do that engraving on that piece of armour. Not sure how I could just imagine that were the case but hey I am old maybe the mind is going.

Check weapon engravings dazk Unless it a DLC engraving an that why i can't see/get it So I found a blacksmith in Athens and he can engrave it on weapons so maybe you are right but I don't remember changing my weapon engravings for ages. Found a good guide on the net re engravings and of course its the only engraving it does not mention: gamewith.net/assassins-creed-odyssey/article/show/707

^ Shoots the birdie. I find the video annoying; I prefer a brief down-to-earth presentation of AC Odyessy's DLC road map so I only viewed a bit of it. I went to look at the image of the roadmap instead in another site. Atlantis is slated for spring 2019. So I expect the second ep of the first DLC to drop sometime at end of Jan or in Feb and the last in May.

Haha well i'm not shooting that little birdie yet he still has a chance because he just told me that the update is coming on the tenth and that also includes the NG+ so that's still five more days to go before i will shoot him ( and yes people i can count but just till ten ) And same here i also did not watch the whole video i'm not really a fan of that raptor guy but maybe others are. And one more thing that little birdie also told me that the next DLC comes at the 15th so episode II should say January the 15th.

One thing the wee birdies an a few others seem to agree on is January could be a nice month, not just for DLC but free content an January does fall under the timeline Ubi stated for NG+ of geing out before Origins NG+ was received, which that raptor guy said took 4 month for Origin to get NG+
Played abit on the char i'd previously got to Athens an then left there, never progressed the story much outside helping Perikles friend leave the city an just did board missions that gave most XP an money, conquest battles, burning resources etc an ended up lvl 36 i believe.
I had previously bought x2 sets of armour out the store because i liked the set bonus an thought in my naivety they be great for lvling an making life abit easy, which in truth they do or did since i can never afford to keep them relevant, even with dismantling everything upgrading the ship takes it all so sooner that done the freaking better, i suppose i could transmorg the gear to look like the stuff i bought yippee fooking doo, my fault shouldn't have retrieved them till lvl 70, which defeats the fooking purpose.
Been trying to remember Black Flag since i cant remember upgrading the ship an buying/crafting a new set of armour an weapons to be this stinghy but then i supplse that didnt have seperate pieces.
Anyhow im ranting, resources do that to me, they give you all these fucking weapons an armour sets, different perks then say oh fuck no your no upgrading all that an having goddamn fun trying out different builds unless you fucking work an gy work i mean the time yer done you dont wanna fucking play.
Ok im done im done, i apologise, but no to you soft leather bstrd.
I really hope they do something about it, the resource requirements throughout the game are to much, they should be encouraging replay to discover different dialogue an choice outcomes an experience the game from a different pc no burn out on something as simple as upgrading a armour set you like.
Im definitelydone now.

So while hunting down all these cultists I am going to have to make sure to do the regular side quests.
So I hunted down two more cultists. It was quite surprising actually it seems a conquest battle triggered quite randomly so like a dutiful little bird I went to the Athenians and signed up. First time through I lost rtrack of my health, my usual tactics, and thus got desynchronized. Second time through though I went back to plugging them with the multi shot arrows, fire arrows, and sure enough the cultist in question showed up and challenged me. I killed him.
Second cultist tracked down to a shipyard (Alexios: They sure do like building ships here. Me: No kidding the region is called 'the shipyard of Greece') Anyways I meditated so it was night and then engaged said cultist in the hull of a hollowed out ship which was really nice. With that I wiped out the rest of the Silver Vein and revealed its sage who is ALSO in Achaia but is too high level for me.
Then it was off to the arena, intelligence I found indicated defeating Titos the Rock of Athens would reveal one. And I also revealed one by finding the smuggler's cove in Achaia.
Right now I am off in Attika, first time since the plague, and I met with Heitor which intel shows also points me in the direction of another cultist.
