Erm ... I wish there was a preview function on the crafting stations so I can see what a specific piece of clothing would look like once I craft it. There's 30 different styles, from Breton to Trinimac, and I can't tell what any of them would look like xD
I suppose the crown store gives a sorta preview for some of the styles.

You can use Collections menu to preview styles, even the ones you do not own. Just use your 'Collections' button and pick 'Outfit Style' (farthest tab to the right, on top of the menu) - you can preview those you don't own, and can narrow down the search in filter tab. You can preview multiple pieces at once in one session. Of course, you can also design your outfit from motifs/styles you own entirely irrespectively of your worn crafted or dropped sets via Outfit Station for a bit of gold or an outfit token Ever since Outfits went live I personally hardly pay attention to whichever style I craft my sets in

The Elder Scrolls Online is turning five! To celebrate this momentous milestone, we’re running a five-week in-game event, featuring a ton of different activities and rewards. Learn all the details and celebrate with us!5 YEARS YOUNG!The ESO 5-Year Anniversary Event begins on April 4 at 10:00AM EDT and will run until May 9 at 10:00AM EDT. To get started, pick up the Jubilee Cake Voucher quest starter from the Crown Store (it’s free) and use it to find the renowned Chef Donolon. Complete his quest and gather the ingredients required to bake and then acquire the new Jubilee Cake 2019 memento. When you place and eat a slice of the cake, you’ll immediately receive a two-hour, 100% XP buff (and obtain your first 2 Event Tickets). During each week of the event, we’ll be highlighting different types of daily quests, and you can participate in those daily quests to earn unique rewards. This is the only in-game event we’re running in Q2 of 2019 and is the only time you can pick up the new Indrik Berries required to evolve your Nascent Indriks into the brand-new Luminous Indrik (more on that below). 5 WEEKS OF FUNEach week for the first four weeks, you’ll be encouraged to participate in a different activity for special rewards. Each time you complete one of the week’s daily activities, you’ll earn an Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box, containing rare crafting ingredients (even Aetheric Ciphers!), recipes, and on occasion, a Motif Chapter for almost any motif in the game, including Worm Cult. However, each unique week also has a chance to grant you a specific new Outfit Style. Finally, on the fifth week, all the previous activities and rewards are up for grabs, allowing you to catch up! Dress like a companion! Here’s the different activities and rewards you’ll earn each week of the event. Each new week begins at 10:00AM EDT. WEEK 1April 4 at 10:00AM EDT – April 11 at 10:00AM EDT Do your writs! Complete daily crafting writs to earn Gift Boxes that have a chance to also include pages of the Prophet Outfit Style. WEEK 2April 11 at 10:00AM EDT – April 18 at 10:00AM EDT Clear out Tamriel’s Delves and monsters. Complete daily quests to defeat Delves and World Bosses to earn the Gift Boxes that have a chance to also include pages of the Lyris Titanborn Outfit Style. This includes Delve and World Boss dailies from all of the game’s DLCs and Chapters in addition to the Delve daily offered by the Undaunted (note, not Pledges). WEEK 3April 18 at 10:00AM EDT– April 25 at 10:00AM EDT Fight your fellow players! Complete Alliance War and Battlegrounds daily quests to earn Gift Boxes that have a chance to also include Abnur Tharn Outfit Style pages. This includes Cyrodiil Town dailies, all Board missions, the Cyrodiil dailies, the Battlegrounds dailies, and Imperial City dailies. WEEK 4April 25 at 10:00AM EDT – May 2 at 10:00AM EDT Put your team to the test in Dungeons and Trials. Complete daily quests for any of Tamriel’s Dungeons and Trials to earn Gift Boxes that have a chance to include the Sai Sahan Outfit Style pages. WEEK 5May 2 at 10:00AM EDT - May 9 at 10:00AM EDT Your choice! Complete any of the daily quests found in Tamriel to earn Gift Boxes that can contain any of the above rewards (all four unique styles). This is your opportunity to catch up and choose your own adventure! If you don’t get lucky and get all the pages you want from your Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes, you can also buy the Outfit Styles for each week from the Impresario. EARN EVENT TICKETS & ACQUIRE NEW REWARDSThroughout the entire event, you’ll earn two Event Tickets the first time you use the Jubilee Cake 2019 each day, with the timer resetting at 2:00AM EDT. This means by the end of the event, you could have earned a total of 72 tickets! Don’t forget, you’re capped at 12 Event Tickets per account, but you’ll have ample opportunity to spend them with a huge select of new rewards. Here’s all the new and exciting items you can spend your Event Tickets on at the Impresario’s tent during the event: Luminous Indrik mount berriesEach week, a new Indrik Berry will be added to the Impresario’s stock, starting with the Luminous Berries of Bloom the first week, and then the Luminous Berries of Budding, Luminous Berries of Growth, and Luminous Berries of Ripeness in subsequent weeks. Once you’ve collected all four unique Berries (you only need one of each), you’ll be able to evolve your Nascent Indrik into a Luminous Indrik mount! Keep in mind that this five-week event is your first and only opportunity to pick up the Indrik Berries you’ll need to summon the Luminous Indrik - don’t miss out! Companion Outfit Style pagesDuring the event, you’ll also be able to spend event tickets on the weekly Outfit Style pages, with pages from the Prophet Outfit Style being available from Week 1, and the others coming available in their subsequent weeks. Note that while a specific week’s Outfit Style pages won’t be available in a week that features a different activity and style, during Week 5, ALL Outfit Style pages will be made available for purchase with Event Tickets again, giving you an opportunity to catch up. Finally, Outfit Style pages purchased with Event Tickets cannot be traded. Shimmering Indrik petDuring Week 5, the Shimmering Indrik Pet will also be available for purchase with Event Tickets from the Impresario. This adorable companion can be acquired for 10 Event Tickets. CELEBRATE YOUR WAY!There’s many different ways you can play The Elder Scrolls Online, but during our 5-Year Anniversary Event , you can take part in everything the game has to offer while earning brand-new rewards for doing so. Don’t forget, there’s also cake! How will you be celebrating this incredible milestone? Let us know on Twitter @tesonline, Instagram, and Facebook! The ESO 5-Year Anniversary Event will begin on April 4 at 10:00AM EDT and will run until May 9 at 10:00AM EDT. Let’s party!

That shimmering indrik pet is pretty darn adorable ... I've been wondering why I saw so many petite green indriks during Jester's Festival only to realize that the ticket lady sells it It's easy to guess that the one after the shimmering one will be like the mount evolution offered in subsequent quarters - so black and then snow-white.

Anyway, the event starts a few hours from now (edit: it's actually tomorrow xD;) and since my sleeping patterns are all out of whack lately and I can't sleep so... I'd really advice using this event to level up and just grab all there is, as this is the time when ESO is at its most generous and with 5-year anniversary potentially being more generous than previous ones. Use it as an opportunity to stock-up or collect styles/recipes/mats as the coffers will temporarily tank large swathes of the game's economy If you don't get motifs or recipes you want from coffers, a considerable portion of them will be several times cheaper and readily available to snatch from guild traders. It will be an excellent opportunity to also gather some mats and - if things didn't change from last year - transmute crystals. If you get motifs or recipes you don't know what to do with/want to sell either do so immediately at the start of the event and then keep some of the rarer ones for a few weeks in your bank only to sell them when prices go back to relative normal. I wouldn't save the event motif (Worm Cult)... it was hilariously difficult to get last year until Zeni came to the conclusion that people found it too frustrating to collect, so they opened the floodgates - I don't expect they won't do it now, so it'll probably be dirt-cheap and easy to get. Also... prepare to eat a loooot of cake... usually when you'd just want to open the door

*phew* I had to have an emergency pre-holiday room painting, but fortunately, I was able to assemble my PC and poke my head into Tamriel. It's crafting dailies time Also - we have yet again entered the time in the game when cake is NOT a lie!

How many times do I have to tell you to be more careful with the chain saw?
But seriously, I'll have to make another mule or join a third trading guild or both. All my storage boxes are full (with items I will absolutely need... one day). I even still have motifs and armour from the Vvardenfell event hoarded. I just don't get rid of all the stuff, the only thing that sells decently are crafting mats and I wonder for how long with mats in the jubilee boxes.

This anniversary event has been one of the best events so far to get tickets, especially when all you really have to do is eat a piece of cake everyday. And if you do decide to take part in the activities? you get some of the best motifs and items.
I really need to find a trading guild but for some reason I'd feel rude to just message one asking to join.

Yep, I got Welkynar chests recently - that's 100-200K of free gold (I have one collected already) as I don't expect for this price to drop too much or go back to normal not long after the event. Anyway - my trading guild has opened permissions to all members to invite peeps, 30+ spots are up for grabs, which means I can invite too. Want to give it a try in a large NA/PC guild with trader in Wayrest? If it's not up to your liking or requirements are a tad too much you can always leave. If not, I'd advise checking ESO forums, there are always forum sections with all kind of guilds looking for members.

I don't mind paying fees or anything like that, my biggest problem is that I'm very introverted but if it's only based on trading where I don't have to embarrass myself doing trials or anything, I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. And thank you for the offer. EDIT: Also since a lot of people want to be a vamp, I'm just letting you all know that I'm one and can help y'all out. I'd have to wait a week because I already bit a friend but since it took me 84 years to find a bloodfiend, I'm always willing to give out free bites.

Seems like there's problems with dungeon queues right now. Not only are they taking insanely long, but there was a period of about an hour(?) where it was sending back an "unable to queue at this time" message xD

Somewhere in Summerset... Uhm... ?
On an unrelated note, the new log-in queue on the EU server sucks. 20 minutes just to get started, plus the usual long loading screens... so much fun. They say it's a provisional "solution", but I have the feeling it's here to stay.

I've been considering getting ESO. Dropped my WOW sub last year after 10 or so years, and after subbing since launch my SWTOR sub is getting canceled.
The last new game I bought myself was MEA, and I've played the heck out of it and it's time for something new.
I love ES games, but is ESO new player friendly? I guess I'm half worried I'll feel overwhelmed and just end up dropping it. Also not sure I want to fall back down the MMO time sink rabbit-hole.
Is it solo friendly? Yeah yeah, MMO and people and blah blah, but I basically just want to play alone. Quests etc. I realize that dungeons and all that are for groups. I'm completely ok with skipping those, but I don't want to miss out on important information/story either. One thing I like about SWTOR is that they even made many (though not all) of the fp solo-able.

One thing I like about SWTOR is that they even made many (though not all) of the fp solo-able. ESO is extremely solo and new player friendly. You can just do the solo content and level up that way, and you can ease yourself into group play by running around Summerset (after you level up a bit) and group up for world bosses and geysers (when there's only a few people. When there's too many there's no point). Sometimes you'll see in group chat people asking for help with random world bosses and you can always just choose to group up also. The people in the groups and the overland have been really friendly as well. ESO really feels like an Elder Scrolls game that happens to have other people in it.

One thing I like about SWTOR is that they even made many (though not all) of the fp solo-able. I'm really introverted, growing up this negatively impacted my communication skills and even now I'm still socially awkward. Trust me when I say that I wouldn't be playing eso if it weren't solo friendly. Poor midnight, I even asked to join her trading guild but I just wanted to sell things and not talk to anyone. It's a great guild by the way, thank you midnight tea All the story quests in the main game and in DLC/expansions are solo-able. You also might be able to solo some normal public dungeons and bosses in the base game yourself, depending on your build setup later on. Even if you don't want to solo bosses, you can jump in any boss fight when you see others in a battle. Here's a few tips.
1.When you start out, if you want to make money I would heavily invest in crafting skill lines and learning all the traits straight away. Traits can take a long time to complete and you'll need a certain number of them in order to make your own crafted sets. By becoming a crafter, you can earn a decent amount of gold just by doing writs even if you're not in a trading guild. So loot every crafting material you see out in the world, runes, ore, wood etc. 2. I'd also recommend you to wear heavy, medium and light armor all together in the beginning, by doing this you will level all those armor skill lines at once and won't have to worry about any of them later on. 3. You can travel between wayshrines for free and that's much better than wasting gold.
