Played the hell out of Oblivion and Skyrim. Tried Morrowind on my old laptop, but kinda got hopelessly stuck, so that didn't last long. Currently messing around with ESO. I have a few characters across all three alliances, but my main time has been put into my Khajiit Nightblade in Aldmeri Dominion. If anyone wants/needs armor and weapons crafted/enchanted, I'm a fairly decent level and can make you nice things. She's also a werewolf, so if anyone wants to be one, too, I can bite and pass along the gift once every 7 days, so hit me up... only works if your character is also in the Aldmeri Dominion, though. I'm on PS4. This is Shuras.

Here's something interesting, while I was leveling I didn't so much as get a whiff of a guild invite, not that I remember anyway. Now that I've hit level 50 and am working my way through the champion ranks I've had three in last two days. I haven't accepted any as guilds really aren't my thing. I'm quite happy going at my own pace, even if I can't do some of the content which really don't bother me. Having Skyshards in Public Dungeons is brutal though. I won't be getting the Skyshard Hunter achievement for Reaper's March because of it.

The highest I'd seen before that was 4, which is manageable. Needless to say I didn't last long. Of course it don't help that the particular dungeon in question is very dark and also very confined, you've got sod all room to move.

I won't be getting the Skyshard Hunter achievement for Reaper's March because of it. I've managed to nearly fully level my main - she'll hit CP 810 either today or tomorrow - with only a single in-zone guild invite, and that came way back when she level 5... no one wants a Breton magicka Warden-with-a-bear stinkin' up the place when they are trying to play! (Luckily, I did find a trading guild willing to have me, but I don't run dungeons or trials with them.)
Re inaccessible skyshards, at some point you'll probably find content that seemed difficult is now trivially easy. I'm a REALLY terrible player, and yet I've managed to get every skyshard in the game (save those in the new DLC zone) and have so far soloed all but two of the 'tier 1' normal non-DLC group dungeons... I actually get a little peevish now when I'm running a public dungeon and there are other players there, too.

I'm only CP 125 or so I think.

There is this free ESO plus trial right now and I forgot this would also unlock the DLC group dungeons. Ended up in one via the group finder looking for a random dungeon. It was not pretty. I had heard they are harder than the others, but the party getting wiped four times on the same boss was a new one for me. Do you know these people in PuGs that have no clue what they are supposed to do, preferred tactic is "hit it till it's dead" and always lag behind because they want to enjoy the scenery and loot some chests? That would be me. So if you play on the EU server and see an cp 300something altmer mage with a bad case of vampirism in your party, you have been warned.
Please don't kick me, I'm trying.

Eventually, you will reach enough level, skill points, and CP that base game public dungeons (not to be confused with groupfinder dungeons, where you have to queue for a role in a 4-man group) will not feel so hard for you anymore. They used to kick my ass and I avoided them, as I prefer to play solo. But eventually I leveled up enough that I can solo them if I need to, or have an easier time going through them as other random players fight through them as well. So, you can eventually get those skyshards.
Now, DLC public dungeons... yeah, those are hard and I can't solo them.

I'm with theskymoves , even the non-DLC group dungeons are soloable, at least on normal. so are the dolmesn, public dungeons, and world bosses. with the latter it's actually a matter of being lucky enought to get an opportunity to solo, weird timezones help here heheh. i understand that some people solo (or used to) even trials. generally you don't even have to have CP maxed out either. with scaling/battlelevelling at play you may need to be smart about your powers/gear and just be patient. with the vet dungeongs/DLC content though it's a different story from what i gather not much personal experience here being a filthy casual that i am.

My family is working our way through ESO while we wait for Anthem to drop. It really irritates me that the DLC is by account rather than by machine. We're certainly not dropping the kind of money it would take for four copies of Summerfeld and hubs is the only one who's got Morrowind, since it came with the copy of the game and he installed. That said, some of the lore is interesting. We've been playing enough over the past month that I'm stuck in "sameness" land, where quest givers make me roll my eyes whenever I find a new town rather than excited to hear the new story. That said, there are still some pleasant surprises, like the magician who's going to have to eat his wife if you can't help him! It's back to SWTOR for me, for a while, as I still have people who haven't slogged through KotFE/KotET yet to get their companions back. I'll be picking up bits of ESO here and there, though. I'm coveting that Undaunted gear they're keeping from me.

In that little daily announcements box that pops up, I remember during the Clockwork event seeing one of the advertised things being Clockwork DLC for a reduced price in the Crown Store.

I just wanted to extend the invitation, if anyone reading this thread plays on PS4 NA server, that you are more than welcome to join the guild that I am Vice-Guildmaster for, The PTKs. Its focus is a trading guild and only requirements are having at least one character CP 250 or higher (so that you're getting good item drops to list in trader) and active. If you don't want to join or don't meet the CP requirement, I still also want to offer a holiday present! I can craft most types of weapon/armor/furniture. Just pop me a message if there's something you really want and if I can make it, I'll send to you.

Last time I played ESO was maybe a year or two ago. I played on pc (EU server) from it's initial release. I remember at release the bots were an absolute nightmare. After they tapered off it was an enjoyable game. I'm a pve player and enjoyed general roaming about and having the odd ad hoc group boss fight. Since I've got my new build pc, I'm thinking of firing it up and giving it another go.
If I remember correctly, I think I've got a rather cool senche tiger mount in the stable.

I've just remembered, I've got three alts. It'll probably take me days to trawl through their inventories. One of them is a pretty decent crafter/smith. I may hold off for a bit as this may take some time. Even though I've got decent internet I do remember how long the updates and downloads took. I'll probably get back to it slowly and in stages as trying to rush things and do everything at once will just kill any enthusiasm that I have. I'll download and install it and then just leave it and come back to actually play it on another day.
