Maybe the clue is in the title but this one can never be sure. All I know is that the trials are supposed to be tough de luxe and I will have to roll a new character come june.

I'm pretty sure they don't appear in the base game or Morrowind and Summerset, can't tell for any of the other DLCs though. But I thought it is an Imperial judging by the armour? Or maybe it's just the red cloth.

The imperial could be either a 2nd player or a quest giving npc. Is the prisoner dude that the argonians were pulling with them that same breton from the original trailers?

My High Elf Templar has now completed all three alliance quest lines. Now to just wonder about a bit and catch up on quests I missed and maybe see if I can solo some public dungeons for those skyshards

So, maybe?

What is it with everyone and their mom running DPS? My DK-tank gets almost zero queue time for group finder dungeons, whereas my DPS char used to have to wait a solid hour in queue sometimes.

I'm going to try and get back into this. I have a level 18 but when I hopped in I was confused about the story, where I was etc. I think I'm just going to start from scratch.Probably just a couple days to hit 18 again.
As for the question above, I just like mages so i play them in every game if I can. I don't search out DPS almost all the games have designed mages as DPS, my favorite was one where mages were more crowd control and debuffing enemies.I think people thought that was boring so that style of mage seems to not exist anymore. DAI has mages as crowd contorl but it blows, freeze enemy for a blink of an eye woooo. As an aside to my mage obsession, I even played them in a D&D Lankmar campaign. Back in 2e spells had a casting time of 1-10, usually it was equal to the spell level. It was the initiative modifier for casting your spell, a lot of attacks were around 3 so above 3rd level spells you had a decent chance to get stabbed before you got your spell off interrupting your spell. In Lankmar the casting time was the # of rounds it took to get your spell off, so a fireball took 3 rounds or like 30 seconds to cast. Still played a mage, and honestly it was one of my favorite mages. Limitations make a game more fun IMO.

I mostly play solo content and only join a group if I have to or feel particularly masochistic. There isn't much use for a healer or a tank if you play alone, there are things that need killing so you go for damage. I guess many players see it that way and then clog the queue when they get bored with the story content or whatever.

Love the game but I get the feeling much of the content is far too easy. Would love it if Zenimax would provide more difficult content for people

I've just realised, now that I've hit CP151, that as a healer I'm far too squishy. The overland content doesn't really convey this to you, but getting not-quite one-shotted (not-quite because I have defending on both my staves) by Keelsplitter over and over really rammed that home. After eating food I have 14.5k health, apparently I need about 4k more. And I already disassembled all my health glyphs Ugh

Not an ideal solution for my MagSorc with very little stamina, but then the AoE damage is negligible (with CP points invested in resistances, though) and you don't get knocked on your ass every time. If really low health and/or resistances are the problem maybe potions with unstoppable would help, haven't tried, but the real killer is the follow-up AoE while you are still knocked down and can't do anything.
Once I even got the Asp Awareness achievement because I was a ghost for 98% of the fight and couldn't have stepped on the snakes if I had wanted to.

Does spending your CP points increase health, magicka, and stamina? Some people said spending the red CP points increases health, but I just spent one and I couldn't see an increase ...

That's the first time I hear that investing CP raises the base stats, didn't even notice, but google says it does, idk. All I can say that my CP700 char has 14 normal points invested directly into health and 230 red CP. That makes 12,5k health without buffs or armour, 15k with armour (no health enchants, just a set bonus and the perk from the undaunted skill line for mixed armour types). I don't remember what it was before I invested the CP, might have been lower. I get most of my additional health from food anyway, +5k= 20k, should be enough for most situations if you are not the tank.
Spending only one CP certainly doesn't make much difference at any rate, but there is no reason not to spend all of them. Before I started my second char I thought better save some of them, because "account wide", only to realise that you get your max number of points so far for each character and don't have to split them up.

Ah, nice tip I think I might do that as well I put all 64 points into magicka but I think I have more magicka than I need and just not enough health. Lag spikes were killing me yesterday but I can muddle through. I usually get between 300-400 (latency), which is fine, I can live with that. But there were frequent spikes up to 700 and 900 which really proved life-threatening when fighting world bosses. Luckily there was a nice person nearby who came round to help. The community in ESO is quite nice I've found

ESO is my first mmo and although I mostly fly solo and I'm shit at it, I love this game. My main is an Altmer sorc but I've recently just started a Nord stamplar tank for the hell of it...Don't know if a Nord stamplar is any good but hey, I don't like chasing the meta.
Is anyone else going to be creating a new character for the new Necromancer class coming up? I don't want to have to delete one of my mules but I'm contemplating it. I need to stop hoarding stuff anyway.

Is anyone else going to be creating a new character for the new Necromancer class coming up? I don't want to have to delete one of my mules but I'm contemplating it. I need to stop hoarding stuff anyway. I won't buy Elsweyr right away. I usually wait until something is on sale before I buy, so no necromancy for me any time soon. That being said I've just bought the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood DLC (which are on sale right now) for my new Dunmer NB character. I largely ignored any criminal activities on my main (also an antisocial* Altmer Sorc), so let the thieving and murdering begin! The community in ESO is quite nice I've found Ping over 300 doesn't sound good, I usually have 80-100, with the occasional spikes and disconnects. Still feels rather laggy at times, maybe it's more an hardware issue, Idk. I tried the NA server once and stopped after a few minutes because I was annoyed by the latency, but I think it was just 200-300. You are more patient than I am.
I wish I could post on the ESO forums as well, but I don't have an invitation code. I'm pretty sure I didn't get one when I started playing during a free trial, nor when I bought the game. But even if I've accidentally deleted the email I don't have the invitation in either case. So I filed a ticket as described on the customers' service site requesting a new invitation. Today I got an email from them, telling me I should do all the steps that I already did, which led to said email in the first place. Maybe it's just some automated nonsense and I'll get the invitation in another email, but why do they make posting in their forums so complicated, can't they just allow everyone with a valid account?
*Okay, the antisocial one might be me. I play solo as much as possible, though I have developed a strange taste for hardmode vet dungeons with PuGs recently. The things you get to see there are certainly... unique, in it's best and worst sense.

I didn't know you had to have special permission to post on their forums 0.0 Whaaaaaaat? Where's this invitational code people are supposed to get xD Apparently around 300 is normal...ish for Australians hooking up through the NA server. A couple of years ago (?) Zenimax signed up to a DDOS screening service (Akamai) which reroutes our link through Japan, Asia, Mars, Mercury, the Andromeda Galaxy, back to America which added about 60ms onto our latency, which boosted it from 200-300 to 300-400 ... much to everyone's angst. I can live with it though. I didn't try the EU server though 0.0 *Sigh* computer's getting upgraded and overhauled, so I have no games to play for a week or two *puffs cheeks*. What did we do in the old days without computers. I dunno. Ping over 300 doesn't sound good, I usually have 80-100, with the occasional spikes and disconnects.
I dunno. Books I guess forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/461251/unplayble-elder-scrolls-online-for-pacfic-players-partiuclarly-au-nz-japan-300-ms Do they even send those codes nowadays? don't think I ever got it anywhere but my first account... Anyways, i'd say it's best not to go looking for a code but to put a support ticket through and go through the hoops and loops. Can't remember now but I might have actually even logged an ingame ticket lol rather than the website, I had my invite but it well and truly expired by the time I decided to register
Oh and don't waste your time with the EU shard bud that will only push your baseline latency higher ...By about 100+ ms from the last time I checked back in Sept-Oct last year. That's when this akamai nonsence came to be btw. You can kinda gauge for yourself how much zenimax cares for that issue and for us, apac players, complaining simply from the level of their intereaction and level of response in those threads. I've resigned to the fact that this is how it's going to be. Running the 300+ latency means I don't even bother anymore with a chunk of content, anything competitive or requiring cooperarion really, with the handicap like this. It kinda helps that i'm quite casual when it comes to playing ESO so there's still quite a bit for me find some fun where I can but admittedly my gamin hours are goind elsewhere and i'm losing interest altogether and the shitty connectivity being one of the main reasons for that
