Do they even send those codes nowadays? don't think I ever got it anywhere but my first account... Anyways, i'd say it's best not to go looking for a code but to put a support ticket through and go through the hoops and loops. Can't remember now but I might have actually even logged an ingame ticket lol rather than the website, I had my invite but it well and truly expired by the time I decided to register Another email to customer service sent... this better work now, it's almost not worth the effort.
Looks like I'll have to whine about my lacking sneak skills here instead. I try to play as sneaky thief/assassin, but always end up getting detected and then I murder my way out anyway. Usually I would prefer a more subtle playstyle, but it's so much easier just to kill everyone, especially when the time runs out. I hate timers. I don't think I will do any more heists and sacraments once the event is over.
Does anyone else think the Indrik is ugly af? I just gather the tickets because I like to collect stuff, but I don't think I'll use the mount, any version of them.

Looks ... erm, exotic Not as bad as those giant insect things though 0.0 I still like my classic horse. Best of luck gaining access to the prestigious eso forums

I actually prefer the normal horses over the crazy weird mounts but I'm also collecting the tickets because I have a habit of collecting anything and EVERYTHING if given half the chance. However with that said I actually think they're kind of cute, but then I'm also the type of person that finds snakes and even some spiders cute....so my opinion is probably not worth much when it comes to judging cuteness.

ESO is my first mmo and although I mostly fly solo and I'm shit at it, I love this game. My main is an Altmer sorc but I've recently just started a Nord stamplar tank for the hell of it...Don't know if a Nord stamplar is any good but hey, I don't like chasing the meta. Is anyone else going to be creating a new character for the new Necromancer class coming up? I don't want to have to delete one of my mules but I'm contemplating it. I need to stop hoarding stuff anyway. Don't delete (or buy) anything. AFAIK we're going to get a free slot in June.

Thank you for letting me know, this is far better. A few race/name change tokens are something we got now due to racial passive changes that came recently with Wrathstone patch. If I recall correctly you can hear about the additional slot in a livestream in which they announced Elsweyr expansion. Naturally, I already bought one in preparation for the Chapter, since I have at least 2 (fully leveled) character in each class

Seems the way max stats are calculated has changed with the latest patch. People are logging in (after that massive update) to find they have ... more health? I'll have to check once I get my computer back Updated the calculation with your Maximum Health, Magicka, and Stamina interacting with modifiers to better reflect the 20% increase to these stats from your first 100 points spent into each tree of the Champion Point system. Previously, this 20% only applied to your base stats, attributes, enchantments, and 2 through 4 piece bonuses on item sets. After this change, all sources of flat stat increases will be affected. Consumable food and drinks, 5 piece bonuses from item sets, and passives will now be properly affected by the 20% increase.
Note this will cause Champion Points to be an additive bonus with other modifiers, rather than a multiplicative one, which may cause varying results depending on how many other % modifiers your character has.forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/463161/playstation-4-patch-notes-v1-45-wrathstone-update-21

Oh wait ... update 21 is just a new patch for consoles. PC users got it a couple of weeks ago. Just woke up and saw people talking about more health and thought it affected everyone. Didn't know they staggered their updates between PC and consoles 0.0

Didn't know they staggered their updates between PC and consoles 0.0 Yep, PC always get updates and DLCs quicker. It's likely lack of certification as well as the existence of Public Test Server for PC only... and, of course, adjustments to any patches once they officially drop on PCs. I've mentioned this before, but some things only become apparent once people start logging in en masse. And yeah, the health increase ain't massive. In fact, endgame players aren't super-stoked about these changes, because they result with smaller resource polls.

Well, they eliminated the Wood Elf racial stealth bonuses and ruined my two favourite characters.
Almost all the time I've invested in this game has been wasted. I'll be permanently bidding farewell to Bethesda and Zenimax. I'm so tired of this bullshit.

If there's one thing I learned over years of running with raiders and hardcore gamers is that combat balance will always be a source of contention and people will never be happy with it. I was there when they've thoroughly gutted resource regen with Morrowind and witnessed almost whole endgame community throwing a collective fit Doom and gloom everywhere - the game was supposed to be dead, yet it exploded in popularity after the first Chapter. So people eventually got over it and those spots that got free were filled by newcomers, as is the norm. And I personally enjoy an occasional shake-up. They keep things fresh. Though it's probably fortunate that I didn't put eggs in one basket - I play all classes and all roles, can do all competently (save maybe tanking trials and DSA/BP) and don't stick to one thing for long and take a break when I feel it's needed. Plus, I think this is just a first step in re-designing Champion Points and deal with its power creep issue (and latency issues it can cause, especially in PVP). This patch was the first one where CP level didn't go up, as it traditionally does with every large update. Yet average for raider DPS still went up...

...ima frankly preplexed they'd even be seriously (?) looking into a AUS/NZ shard alone, it's quite obvious we'd not pull enough pop. but why not the larger APAC?? ah well, i guess they come to that decision based on the numbers and it just that ESO really aint that popular in our region overall. quite a bummer still.

Uh... I really shouldn't have accumulated more than a month's worth of alchemy/enchanting master writs. Took more than 2 hours to craft them all. On the other hand, I have a bit more gold and over 450 writ vouchers to add to the pile (3654 and counting). It's a good way to level skills on alts as well. If only I didn't have a month's worth of surveys to collect mats from to do now ...

The amount of money I'm spending on my computer because I love this game has increased to well over a thousand (Aud) I may as well include a solid state drive too. Some games seem to require that sort of thing now and ESO also has quite a few loading screens xD

Been called the Loading Screens Online for a reason, y'know. I get tempted to grab something to read just to entertain myself every time i get on to check hirelings email from all the chars. But it does make things pleasantly smoother overall especially when you rely on fast and intensive disk read type of activities, like for instance if you go full on (and beyond) on the graphics and need all those textures loaded fast

Once you get used back to SSD speed, you're just not going to look back. Optimally, I'd recommend investing in something of decent quality. My personal go to for discs is Western Digital - I use their Blue SSD for storing my games. Crucial and Samsung SSDs are good as well.

Generally big online games tend to have a few, especially if they're that big. In my case, I happen to have a 2nd screen and when I play games/else and have to wait for something to finalize/load I usually check news/this forum/do stuff online. I recommend grabbing a 2nd screen (or more) to anybody thinking about it and having space for it.

Really, there's no need to pay extra to access things like user data/video recordings/media libraries really. And by now the likes of ShadowPlay have matured enough and are fine to live with the spinny drives performance. I don't do much of video editing though or even recording under uber resolutions, but even if i did i'd probably consider a hardware RAID which might be still more cost effective (or not). Oh and i also run my OS off a conventional drive too i don't care much if the OS starts/restarts mere seconds faster really. it doesn't happen often anyway, mostly once a month with Microsoft pushing out updates. And once that startup is done, for the rest, just "throw more RAM at it" and let the memory management deal with it. As for the SSD... Well that's for the juicy stuff that needs to be loaded/unloaded fast and lots of it i.e. game installs/content that doesn't get changed too frequently. Although supposedly the SSD got past the performance deterioration issues caused by read/write cycles so i guess just a force of habit to be that precious about it. Oh and keeping it on a different controller wehn possible too. No need to compete with all the other activities Got some bad news there... Going SSD won't help much with those unfrotunately. I recommend grabbing a 2nd screen (or more) to anybody thinking about it and having space for it. I'm not having much to compare it to in its own class only tap in a couple other mmos, but for me ESO is the worst offender. Even my modded to the death Skyrim loads stuff faster hehe. And again, remember it got worse over time. The char/zone loads were noticeable quicker until one of the updates. i can't remember which one that was. could have benn the One Tamriel one? nah can't remember. it may have been a result of them tightening up their clients security wise so an acceptable trade off if so, but it still is a pity to spend gaming time on time sinks like this. From what i gather (not playing the game myself) Anthem's loading issue sound to me more alike to the good ole Cyrodiil loading screens issue, where you'd get hit with them already loaded in the zone, not the initial zone/char load necessarily. Can be wrong like i said have no first hand Anthem experience. but if that's the case indeed, that sure can have a larger impact and be quite disruptive to ones gameplay.

Although supposedly the SSD got past the performance deterioration issues caused by read/write cycles so i guess just a force of habit to be that precious about it. Oh and keeping it on a different controller wehn possible too. No need to compete with all the other activities I'm not an expert, but from what I've read recently that decent current SSDs can actually outlast HDDs. I went a bit crazy with latest upgrade and invested in two m.2 NVMe that give me respectable speed, heee. But that's because my my computer is primarily my workstation with a 'side benefit' of it doubling as a very good gaming rig - working in Photoshop and the like and handling really large files means faster and smoother work for me. I still keep most of my workshop files on HDD simply because larger SSDs are expenssssssive and my library of files, references and other materials is pretty humongous, but software and files I currently work on have a dedicated SSD. The 'Loading Screen Boss' meme actually hearkens from time when loading screes were much worse. I'm not sure what exactly was the cause of it (the game has changed and grown so massively over years after all), but about... a year ago? or more the loading screen issues were much more egregious, especially if one loaded with group into dungeon or trial (or already running in it), or out of dungeon/trial back to the zone. "Gotta Alt+F4" or "Wait! I'm fighting a Loading Screen Boss!" was a very common mantra for about two months (?) or so. It improved after one of the larger patches, but I think latency and longer loading screens as compared to earlier times may be a courtesy of Zeni defending ESO from DDoS attacks, because there was a period when they were slammed pretty badly by them.

At points during my gaming I'd pick up my book and start reading, sometimes during loading screens but sometimes in the middle of a dungeon Unfortunately I've long since had to convert my library to a digital collection. So with ESO whenever a loading screen pops up I alt-tab to my ebook and read. There was a post on the ESO forums a while back which said something like "I find it very rude when people's characters just stand in front of doors doing nothing". That describes me, I do that a lot, I've alt-tabbed back to my book and hit a good bit so I just keep reading for a little bit more xD
