Schmooples' Den! The DA News Discussion Thread

We need someone 24/24 on the youtube stream chat because the DA account is answering game related questions:

They just confirmed:
- Faction selection at character creation with 6 options including: Antivan Crows, Grey Warden and Shadow Dragons
- We get to customize the Inquisitor from the last game at character creation

They also said something about making a few key decisions in CC...making me think Keep could be going away

Edit: Might mean questions about our character's background? Not sure exactly what they meant

I doubt it. I think more likely key choices about your character

Ok that would definitely be better

1- thank goodness for the sneak peak today- a wave of relief after watching that eye-sore of a trailer yesterday!
2- I enjoy the husky Batman voice of Rook too. I can work with that nicely.
3- Harding is a cutie, I love all the freckles. As someone with freckles, it's nice to see it.
4- I still hate the weapons though. They're waaaay over the top and excessive. Way too flashy and materialistic, giving off cheap Overwatch vibes. Prefer the elegance and poise of the weapons in the previous games.

I was spoiled about Hawke CC in DAI, and now Inquisitor in DATV 

where did you see combat gameplay?

If one of those decisions in CC that impact the start of the game isn't "did solavellan happen?" isn't there, that would be a HUGE oversight

See, not sure about that.

I just replayed that scene yesterday and some things struck me. There is a Flemeth and Mythal seems to share possession of the body of Flemeth with that consciousness. So my suspicion is Morrigan would still be very much alive and conscious even if her mother entered her body. But Mythal also tells Morrigan that she's not in any danger of losing herself to her mother. It's complicated.
