Will we need to CC our Inquisitor if we have saved files from DA:I we can load? Happy to CC my Inquisitor, but only if I can actually make him look like how he was. 1- thank goodness for the sneak peak today- a wave of relief after watching that eye-sore of a trailer yesterday! 2- I enjoy the husky Batman voice of Rook too. I can work with that nicely. 3- Harding is a cutie, I love all the freckles. As someone with freckles, it's nice to see it. 4- I still hate the weapons though. They're waaaay over the top and excessive. Way too flashy and materialistic, giving off cheap Overwatch vibes. Prefer the elegance and poise of the weapons in the previous games. where did you see combat gameplay? All the imagery and stills of Varic and the new companions. Their weapons are too much, this one in particular being held together by nothing. |

I still hate the weapons though. They're waaaay over the top and excessive. Way too flashy and materialistic, giving off cheap Overwatch vibes. Prefer the elegance and poise of the weapons in the previous games. Same. This is JRPG kind of ridiculous stuff and I don't like it for Dragon Age. Also the neon glow on bows. Not a fan. And don't get me started on those neon wings... There's still plenty of stuff that seems to cater to a different audience than the old fan base but I could forgive it if the writing is actually decent. |

See, not sure about that. I just replayed that scene yesterday and some things struck me. There is a Flemeth and Mythal seems to share possession of the body of Flemeth with that consciousness. So my suspicion is Morrigan would still be very much alive and conscious even if her mother entered her body. But Mythal also tells Morrigan that she's not in any danger of losing herself to her mother. It's complicated. Ah thanks, I actually only ever finished the game once in 2014 so a lot of details are extremely fuzzy if not lost. I can't quite picture how this is going to play out. Mythal as just a passenger talking to Morrigan like in Cyberpunk? I like the fucked up relationship they have. I honestly can't tell where this is going exactly. I really hope it's an important storyline in the game. |

It's kinda vague the way they described it, though. It could mean you get to choose your Inquisitor's gender, race, class, romance, possibly some Inquisition decisions - all so that your Inky gets referred to appropriately.
Or it could mean straight up Hawke-style character customization. Which obviously means the Inky's coming back.
I'd rather err on the side of caution and say it's more likely it's going to be the former rather than the latter.

They also said something about making a few key decisions in CC...making me think Keep could be going away I hope not, I love the Keep even though this was obviously the danger with online-only customization of your decisions and not an in-game one. Every online service eventually ends. How the hell am I going to transfer my DA:O and DA2 decisions in Inquisition if the Keep shuts down? Do I have to start saving backup copies of my Origins and 2 saves?

We know DAO and 2 can read each other jus tas the ME trilogy can s ono problem there .Th eproblem is wha tt odo abou tInquisition onwards without the keep if it is taken down. Becaus eDAI takes your Tgedas world state from there for it's game. I don't think they're panicking they were anticipating. More and more this looks like an EA trailer that was handed off to Xbox so Xbox would have something and the actual people at BioWare get to do their thing and show us the real game tomorrow and maybe they are leaking stuff because they were just as shocked by how cartoony the trailer was and want to make sure people understand that the trailer does not represent the game people will play!
