Remember how Dalish kept telling us her staff was a bow. Now it is probably the opposite. Is that a bow? No, it's a magical doodad. In fact it is likely she has this artifact that acts like a Swiss army knife.

Now confirm hot old wizard Emmerich as a romance for lady Rook and I'll be DONE

Agree. I also believe this 15 seconds clip from the game released today was meant to calm down people a bit who freaked out after teaser about art direction (me included)

OK faction selection is AWESOME if it actually has meaning for NPC interactions and not just a background that is only mentioned like twice. Reactions to race in DAI wete pretty disappointing.

I did not expect the inquisitor to be back like Hawke even though I probably should have expected it given the open ended nature of the Solas romance. I have zero emotional attachment to my inky so I'm whatever on that. I don't even remember her face after ten years, damn... And any screenshots got erased when I build a new PC. Hawke was impossible to recreate because of how different the graphics were so that was a weird experience for me. A stranger talking with Hawke's voice. I wasn't the biggest fan of it.

Makes me wonder if this heavily implies that the game will allow you to control inky directly should they meet Solas, especially for ex lover stuff. Always felt like inky should be the one potentially killing him if romanced. Mine would. Could be an option in this game or the next one.

We waited years for info and here we are literally every few minutes finding out something new!

I suppose, though if they ruin my Inquisitor’s character like they did my Hawke’s I’d rather they not appear at all.

sure but then the issue is A. There is an explanation and B. Flashy over the top weapons have been a thing since at least DA 2.

I'm not sure about playing (I'd be stoked if it's dual-protag, even if we get only a few scenes where we control Inquisitor), but it appears that regardless whether we'd control them we'd be able to make some key decisions that would shape how the game starts (oh I hope that it's IN ADDITION to DA Keep - I'd love for Bioware to keep using it), and hopefully it means that Inquisitors are shown to make those decisions, thus directly shaping the narrative of the new game.
