Yes. And it's probably something like: Shadow Dragons: bonus against Venatori Veil Jumpers: bonus against demons/Fade spirits Mourn Watchers: bonus against undead Grey Wardens: bonus against Darkspawn ... and so forth. Here is the thing: the biggest mistery is probably the Lords of Fortune. Maybe the Crows will give a bonus in critical, or something. But the LoF is a mystery. Now I'm taking a really big stab in the dark but my thinking they will be the money makers I.e. lords of fortune that's my guess.

Something to do with weak spots (i.e, we know headshots are a thing now) and/or Crit Chance/Damage. Lords of Fortune... I'd say Dragons and other mythical creatures. Or more XP, gold/loot/rewards... yeah, something along those lines.

(DA2 romance will definitely be Fenris, who doesn't really have a hair colour, but does at least help complete the Mage/Warrior/Rogue trinity.)
Fenris' hair color does still work for your collection. If you go with Morrigan, Fenris, Sera, then Harding, you will have black, white, blonde, and red. Now for Dragon Age 5: Brunet(te) !!!

Honestly, the situation with the Lords of Fortune and Rivain makes me nervous. There's so little information available about the region, and this particular faction seems very Blank-slate. I need more lore about the faction and Rivain. What we have just doesn't seem sufficient. Additionally, I'm concerned that most of their dialogue will revolve around mercenary themes. It feels like the options we'll have with them will primarily focus on money and higher pay for subquests. I'm not criticizing them as a faction, jumping to conclusions, or anything like that. I'm simply expressing frustration because I'm eager to play as them, but I'm struggling to grasp their place in the canon due to the lack of content. I honestly could listen to a 2 hour podcast just about Rivain.

My understanding is the rogue probably didn't get theirs because it was early game. The screenshot from above was from a higher level Rogue, not the trailer. I like the enemies here better than the one in the gameplay trailer. So it's looks like they have different enemie looks depens on the part of the story?

So it's looks like they have different enemie looks depens on the part of the story? That's the same Shades as in the gameplay trailer. It's a brain with a nervous system wearing a tattered cloak. It's also a very similar looking alley as where they first encounter them. They don't glow as much here, could be the screenshot filter or this was retouched after taking it.

And it is "new" in the sense that Shades never used weapon before. But some spirits did take forms with weapons before, like Valor in DAO Mage Origin.

This is what I mean by being designed around attacking with a weapon: Mass Effect is a shooter, so its combat is designed around guns and then there are also extra abilities you can use, which works well for a shooter. For DA I think this could translate well for warriors and rogues because instead of guns it would be swords, daggers, or your weapon of choice + abilities. It wouldn't work for traditional (not arcane warrior) mages because their core combat isn't hitting people with sticks (weapons). It is using a variety of spells, so having only 3 spells would be gutting their core combat. That's also why I am not as sure as you that there's zero chances mages will have more then 3 active spells. There is zero chance that mage have more than 3 spells shortcuts, it was confirmed in the Q&A that Rook had 3 ability shortcuts. You might not like having a base kit of spells you can't swap out, but it's totally possible to do contextual/hit-combo/dodge/parry based spell combat. BioWare already played with contextual actions that in DA2 with Mage staff having a multi-hit chain and swapping to hitting enemy with the aft once in melee range. It's not even new, just more developed and polished.
If that's what they did, then from my perspective they ruined mage combat. I was initially excited about having healing spells back, but it doesn't matter now because with only 3 spells I will never take a healing spell. I love doing spell combos. 2 combo spells + an aoe spell would be all my slots filled.

You'll be doing combos with the companions abilities (or combo your companions ability together) or slot healing to one of your companions and use the ability from the wheel (it's core mage, so all 3 mages should have it and Harding is also getting an healing ability). And nothing says that aoe spells can't prime effects or detonate.
I find it crazy how people call something ruined before they can even try the new version. It's going to be different, players will have to adapt, but you can't say it's bad until you actually try it.

I do hope that they will provide tips before you go into a mission that help you pick the party to take along based on enemies you might find in a specific region or mission.

The point is that Bio has totally ventilated and ruined the Mage as we knew it. Mage combat was changed to suit this RTS style fighting. Add a ME feature of using companion abilities and what do we get? A hybrid system that's neither fish or fowl?
OK, OK... I don't know enough about this system so I'll wait to see the mechanics in actual use. Still.... by beloved mage....

Maybe someone can help. There you can see how it is used. But we will definitely have only the 3 slots. But maybe they use some spells different, we have to see. Because Warrior, rogue and mage will play different.

The clothes are worn out and you see more of the inside. It looks like a skeleton here. A little more grim.

I can tell, because I'm looking at the gameplay trailer right now.

Saw in the DA Discord (gradually figuring this out), Corinne answered a question about difficulty options:
"5 difficulty presets + the ability to make a custom difficulty preset, adjusting things like timing and damage. Everyone should be able to find an experience that suits them."

Otherwise, GI will release content on their hub for the game over the following days. And beside going over what we already saw/read, it should have the first look at the character creator and new screenshots.

I wonder if there will be achievements based on the difficulty you completed the game; I know they had them in ME, but not sure they ever did in DA.
I desperately need to see more gameplay, in particular the mage one! I want to start building up my idea for a character, but it's hard when I can't even nail down what class I'm most interested in.
