BioWare @bioware As Harvestmere (or Frumentum, if you're among those who use the high term) settles upon Thedas, a crisp wind turns our thoughts to harvests, apples, and chilly hands wrapped around warm mugs. #FirstDayofAutumn

October Burns @october_burns I’m roaming around the Hinterlands in my latest playthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition and once again experiencing the deep desire to shake the hand of the nerd who wrote the Tyrdda Bright-Axe codexes.
WHAT a fantastic poem sequence. Scans well to the modern ear, but also wonderfully evokes archaic English saga poetry in tone. Expertly crafted line length variation—the choice to forego catalexis in the last line of each verse is perfect. And that alliterative rhyme? Glorious.
I’ve heard a rumour that that was @patrickweekes... SIR! Are you responsible for this?! I must know. It’s my favourite piece of writing in a masterfully written game.
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Thank you so much! Sometimes you get an order to write codex entries for an area and decide you need to throw them together into a gay barbarian mage-princess saga.
“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”
Jon Renish @jonrenish We take periodic breaks at @bioware to let team members try out new skills and chase their own passions. The day before I went on paternity leave, I made this Dragon Age inspired letter book.
This was funny and cute. However, I'm pretty sure that whatever the Warden is doing to the griffon isn't "washing". In fact, I hope that someone's locked up that Warden for good. That griffon seems terrified.
John Epler @eplerjc Dear spell check, in this world, Badassfully is absolutely a real word.
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Damn right it is.
Mark Darrah @biomarkdarrah He said, badassfully.
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Listen, I didn’t write an entire Blasto movie where Bubin the elcor uses “badassfully” as his vocal cue for every damn line just for people to doubt its viability now.
John Epler @eplerjc RIGHT. I felt certain that 'badassfully' had come from you, somewhere, and now I know where.

When devs have nothing to say they just post inane things to show the studio is "alive". Nothing about possible "secret" IPs, DA4, maybe ME reboot(s).... repeating their pre-Anthem launch teaser tweets.
Sadly, it makes me fee the studio may be falling back on their Sisyphean soap opera. Salivating perhaps at copying Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Breakpoint monetization innovations. You have not read?
Ubisoft's 1 year subscription pass includes:
Access to two Year 1 adventures and their rewards
Siren's Call Mission available on day
1 wk early access to three classes
A special Ops pack that includes:
Scorpio Scout
Covered ACH (whatever that is)
Crye G3 combat pants (like wow)
Cross draw vest (I'm impressed)
All for $40, I think. ... on top of the game cost, of course.
Yep, I feel Bio is studying this possibility in a serious manner. After all, they must show the studio can still bring in the moola. Just think what Bio can offer us at DA game launch!

BioWare devs posting silly nonsense on Twitter means nothing except that it is a day ending in Y. This has been going on as long as they've collectively been on Twitter.
(Anyone else remember that time during DAI development that more than one coffee machine broke at once? Boy, that was a day for ridiculous dev tweets.)

You mean the day of the apocalypse? How could we forget.

Is something supposed to be bad about that Ghost Recon plan?
I don't know enough about shooters and their DLC pricing to know if it's a fair offer or not, but I know that if I could have bought all the DAI DLC up-front for $40 that would have been a good deal that would have saved me money in the long run.
(DA devs if you are listening: yes I would buy a Dragon Age 4 Season Pass in a hot second as long as I knew there would be single-player and/or cosmetic stuff in there and not just multiplayer things. Do with that information what you will.)

In this news it is shown that Bioware Edmonton has 300 employees (not a huge number for developing a 3A game today, I guess). It is exciting that "Hudson said the new space was designed with growth in mind and the goal of the company is to continue to expand in a sustainable way."

If that bint ruins our honeymoon, I will wear her Qun for a boot! Let's wrap it up, love.
