All DAI endings post Trespasser have Circles back running in the south (all under Vivienne's thumbs, even if you don't recruit her). And DAI had zero impact on how Tevinter ran things and they always had circles too. Apostates are still very much a thing.
Hm... OK, my view and I played only DAO, DA2+DLC and DAI... no DAI DLCs.
A- I sided with the Mages in Kirkwall. My Hawke won and Meredith is now a statue. B- My understanding is that the Mages won against the Templars in DAI.
Now I wonder what the canon will be in DAV because not all played Trespasser.
It's not about playing Trespasser, there is no decisions made about the circles in it. The DLC just add to the DAI ending slides to unify some stuff.
So now regardless of who you sided with (mages/templars) and Divine, the circles are always brought back. How they are brought back is different depending on your choices thought.

I think DAO is better. Because i can creat the AI perfect to my playstyl. While with the automatically: i have to look what they do and then descied my way to play it.
You most certainly cannot by default, unless your playstyle is very simple I suppose. Advanced Tactics mod is required to have a remotely competent AI via the tactics system. Sorry i don't understand what you mean. Maybe it is my english. Edit: i think now i understand you. Watch this and than we speak again:

Q: Will there be an option to select when helmets appear/disappear?
Brenon (Discord): Yep, you can hide your helmet always, never or in conversations/cinematics.
- As expected, but good to hear.

Yup, it is good to hear. Though I'm quietly hoping that we'll be able to toggle it for each character separately (which I honestly doubt but one can dream). I still mourn loss of Cole's hat because I hid helmets in DAI

With the massive hair improvements we're getting, I'm hoping we'll also see head options like circlets, crowns, bandanas, etc. that are only partially obscuring.

Hopefully one of the hair improvements is adding another color to the hair. I would like my character running around with red, white and blue colored hair. How about pink and blue, white and black, and so on?

Honestly, it may only be second to Rockstar's games (just my opinion - based on the games I've played). But considering that Guerilla Games is a studio of ~400, compared to Rockstars 2000+, that's still impressive in my mind. Also, big ups on that Horus fight in the DLC.

I'm an historical arms and armor nerd. Around 99% of the time, weapons and armor in fantasy games is absolute rubbish for people like me. I'm always on the lookout for that one set of armor and helmet, that one sword, etc... that looks passable. So my hope is that at least one looks historical. It's very unlikely, but I always hope.
SciFi games do much better with this, probably because the devs are subconsciously more familiar with modern, practical armor from which it evolves. For some reason, they can't be bothered to read one blog, or watch one YouTube video, to understand how armor is worn, how it attaches (not with straps around your limbs, lol), and what the pieces do.
I'm sure it doesn't bother most people. It's a case of once you actually understand a thing, you can't unsee the ridiculous misunderstandings and misapplications.

Fantasy archery is completely divorced from reality! 😄 Movie directors don't even try to make it look convincing, and games always give the bows to the slightly built, skinny characters who don't look like they could draw even a lightweight bow. I guess that's true of all of it, though. Real melee combat is swift and brutal, and an attempt at accurately simulating it would likely not be fun. Still, I appreciate when games incorporate some lifelike movesets. Slow, cumbersome weapons are my biggest pet peeve. If it's so heavy that you can barely swing it, it's not a suitable weapon. I hate the "heavy weapons" that look and sound like the protagonist is swinging a Volkswagen. Unfortunately, that's far more common than quick, nimble greatswords.

Njal's Saga is an actual thirteenth century text (and it's awesome, so I highly recommend it!), and it still has stuff like characters dual wielding spears or fighting while skating on the ice.

I now choose to believe this was the inspiration behind dual-wielding spears in AC Valhalla! 😄 If you've played the game, you're aware that it was so brokenly powerful that doing anything else was a conscious decision to sacrifice power for fun.

My pet peeve is how slow the character moves with the weapon in hand. It looked like Inq was in slow motion. With heavy weapons it would appear they're cumbersome, but I look at it the character is trying to get the most out of their swing. One hit from that would ring your bell and then some, and possibly knock over other baddies who might be close enough to be hit. Of course someone with a dagger could get in several stabs to one swing of a two-handed weapon against one foe.

Q: My #1 “I know it won’t happen but oh how I want it” Veilguard feature is a pacifist option, where you can complete the game without actually killing anyone sentient. Was that ever on the table as a possibility?
Trick Weekes @trickweekes.bsky.social No, sorry. It's something I'm interested in working on in a game, but I don't think Dragon Age is a good fit. There are too many assumptions about combat baked in for most of our player base. Maybe someday in a world where we inherit a lot more gameplay options that allow us to explore.
- Again, no surprise there, but for those who may have been curious...

I like when fantasy is fantasy. Realism actually tends to make fantasy less fun for me. It’s the big reason I prefer the Star Wars prequel saber duels over the more kendo based realism and boring OG duels.
Give me space wizards doing space wizard shit. Give me fantasy warriors doing cool fantasy shit. Though let’s not go full battle shonen anime over the top nonsense. There is a line still.

Q: My #1 “I know it won’t happen but oh how I want it” Veilguard feature is a pacifist option, where you can complete the game without actually killing anyone sentient. Was that ever on the table as a possibility? Trick Weekes @trickweekes.bsky.socialNo, sorry. I wasn’t expecting it, but honestly what’s really disappointing is Patrick thinking combat has to be lethal. There’s plenty of series where the protagonists are able to fight but just don’t kill their enemies.
