I'm still upset about not getting that musical DLC... it's easy money Bioware just do it!
Maybe they’re saving it for when the Veil comes down. Imagine if, rather than a Darkspawn Chronicles-esque joke DLC, it’s a fully canon singing and dancing episode that future Thedas historians have to try to explain.

Thank you for giving me hope!

Well, as David Gaider said... it could always happen in the Fade

So not a single one of the LIs I like were even contenders. I knew it was going to be rigged, but wow that is far more rigged than even I thought. Definitely glad I paid this no attention.
Rigged because some of the LI you like weren’t in the contest, or because they didn’t reach far in the competition?
I’m not interested in this kind of contest, popularity of romances in general, because in the end is something very subjective, and what the majority likes isn’t really mean I’d like the ‘popular’ ones. But I think that they left behind some pretty names behind. I don’t see how you can determine the best romance if you don’t include all to them.
It also depends on the assembled crowd. Provided the ME romances were included, I have a hard time believing that the fanbase, as a whole, liked Dorian more than the ME posterchild that is Liara.
When I die, I want Bioware to carry my casket, so they can let me down, one last time.

I'm of the opinion that the "fix" was in. The ME universe has some very good candidates.
My list was Leliana, Morrigan, Liara and Miranda. None from DA2 or DA:I or ME:A
Morpheus: "know what happened happened and that it could not have happened in any other way".

For me it's Jaheira, Juhani (because Courtenay Taylor), Miranda, Jack (guess why)

May be relevant... Playstation 5 was announced. Planned to be launched Holiday (?) 2020.
Maybe we'll get insanely lucky, and the game will launch alongside the new consoles. They are both slotted for late 2020, after all.
What? It could happen (it won't, but it could).

I've heard that they're planning a strong opening with a lot of blockbuster titles released around console's launch. It would certainly be nice if DA was among them , though I'm way past guessing when it'd likely drop.

The controller (which history suggests will one day be called the DualShock 5, though Cerny just says "it doesn't have a name yet") does have some features Cerny's more interested in acknowledging. One is "adaptive triggers" that can offer varying levels of resistance to make shooting a bow and arrow feel like the real thing—the tension increasing as you pull the arrow back—or make a machine gun feel far different from a shotgun. It also boasts haptic feedback far more capable than the rumble motor console gamers are used to, with highly programmable voice-coil actuators located in the left and right grips of the controller.
Combined with an improved speaker on the controller, the haptics can enable some astonishing effects. First, I play through a series of short demos, courtesy of the same Japan Studio team that designed PlayStation VR's Astro Bot Rescue Mission. In the most impressive, I ran a character through a platform level featuring a number of different surfaces, all of which gave distinct—and surprisingly immersive—tactile experiences. Sand felt slow and sloggy; mud felt slow and soggy. On ice, a high-frequency response made the thumbsticks really feel like my character was gliding. Jumping into a pool, I got a sense of the resistance of the water; on a wooden bridge, a bouncy sensation.
If DA4 actually takes advantage of the above possibilities, I might actually consider going console for the next entry. Cus that sounds neat. After all, we have the Keep, so I could switch and I'd only be possibly missing out on mods.
.... Alternatively, I'll stick to PC but try to play with a DS5 controller. I do like mods. >_> lol But still. Point is, I want to feel the "resistance of the water"! The flow of the wind as I ride a griffon! etc

Personally, I'm hoping they don't launch next year. That would mean the game likely had less than a year's (full) production time, and that... would not be good.

Unless they are being cute with how they use termionology because the game 'hasn't been announced yet' .
Though I agree the more time goes on the more I am convinced (and think it would be best) for a 2021 release date, at the earliest. I still have new games coming out to keep me busy.

"Whenever you start a fight the controller will grow arms and legs and you'll have an epic battle in your own living room!"
(a bit more seriously though - I like haptics so I think this is a good thing to bring for more immersive experience while gaming. However, unless PS titles appear that I'd REALLY like to play but I won't get them on PC, I'll probably just buy myself a controller (...future mouse?) with this kind of functionality)

I wonder if PC will have support for the 'DS5'.

I don't know, but AFAIK there's a robust PC controller market and I suspect that most new controlers at a time of release of PS5 will have haptics as well (Micrfosoft's new controller probably too).

I just like the 'feel' of the Dual shocks the best so if I get into PC gaming more in the future then it'd be nice if I could take my controller of choice with me.

think we'll be able to turn all that off? Really don't like the sound of it personally
The last time I took a personality test I failed it.

You can turn controller rumble off now, so I don't see why not.
