I just want to be 100% sure that there will not be any dlc or expansion for this game. Message was "not at this time", so they might change their minds.

There's not going to be expansions. If you're worried about preserving that save.

I haven't been keeping up on this thread cus I'm playing and I'm also trying to limit my spoiler intake, but can someone tell me if there's been any talk about adding the ability to alter the Inquisitor's appearance to the mirror of transformation's functionality? Have the devs been asked and answered on that? If not, can one of us with a social media account ask them?

He's quite a bit older than Shepard. I'd prefer someone around 30.

I briefly switched from a (mostly) Fire Mage  to an Ice Mage because I thought I had to for one mission in particular....And I was pulling stuff off that Neve couldn't even dream of doing!  I'm still trying to go for an all-out Fire Mage but I don't think that's possible because even the Spellblade Specialization seems to be centered around Lightning attacks.

I want my Fire Mage!  I want to watch things burn!

Seriously though I want to go for a Fire Mage because it seems as though every other Element is well covered.....Emmerich's a Necro, Neve's a 'cold-hearted b*tch' (like Viv, LOL.  Just Kidding) even Belara has her Space/Time warping thing happening.....So what is left for lil ol' me other than to be a carbon copy of one of them when I don't want to be?   Unless with the Spell Blade I could be like a *Magical Ninja*

Fire is slightly towards the Sustain side of the tree with Death Caller, but Spellblade’s got some Fire stuff to go with Lightning as well. Another aspect to consider is if you enjoy playing beam mage (Death Caller), staff (Evoker) or orb and dagger (Spellblade) more. Just experiment a little (respecs are free). They’re all super fun, just see what kind of spells, traits and passives and playstyle you’re vibing most with and go from there.

I for example am playing as an Evoker, but not a 100% limited to Ice, got some lightning in there (love Chain Lightning!) as a “Storm/Weather”-themed mage, with cold/wind, lightning and void/entropy. Playing a staff mage is awesome, I’m loving it. My main spells are Frost Nova, Dark Squall and then I alternate between Ice Blast and Chain Lightning for the third slot, depending on who I’m facing, my companions atm (who can prime or detonate what) or just whichever I feel like. Lucanis for example, can both prime for my Dark Squall (Sundered) and detonate my Chain Lightning (Overwhelmed). And when I need a little fire because of resistances/vulnerabilities, I switch to a fire staff + Arcane Shot and Destructive Light which are part of the core kit. Go crazy!
