I would never say no to more Davrin.

Easier said than done, you can't go one video without a person saying that Veilguard is a woke disaster. Even here on this site it feels like it's illegal to express any sort of joy for the game. 

Basically it really does what it does with Poker. Dragon Age Veilguard couldn't do what it does with being Dragon Age. Comparing different genres of games is always futile. That's why GOTYs or awards in general are really messed up.

Is your time also that valuable for being upset?

How come the last 5 pages were mostly like 5 people arguing back and forth?  Where is everyone?? I know Hrungr's just finished with the game but it's been so quiet that the loudest skeptics only just echoed here.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread, and don't know the context of this question, but I think I can still answer, at least for myself.

When I see a contentious echo building, or if I see the same members endlessly debating, I eventually bail on a thread. Endless, pointless debates are tedious, even when I'm simply scrolling past them. I don't say that to tell anyone how to spend their time here; I'm just answering the question.

Did you guys spontaneously scream in hype during the Siege and Hossberg climax encounters when the threat kept escalating or was it just me?

I never do that but somehow DAVG got it out of me not once but three times. 

A lot of people try and make other people out to be angry to try and invalidate an argument. It doesn't apply. Why would you think I'm upset?

That being said forums are for discussion. Not for positive discussion, not for negative discussion, but discussion. I come here to discuss games, I was discussing an aspect of gaming, using the forum for what it is meant to be used for. Also this is the first time I've appeared here in about a week.

Lastly, the loudest skeptics are being echoed. That's not quite accurate. I noticed something right from the start. The people talking positively about the game were only a few. Most people kinda drifted away because the game didn't really inspire that passion in people. At one point I thought the skeptics thread had a much more varied group of people posting than anywhere else.

Where is everyone? That's a good point. I left the forum a week ago to let people who wanted to talk about Dragon Age talk about Dragon Age. Don't ask me. 

I think Veilguard should have been nominated for Best RPG over Dragon’s Dogma 2. Veilguard has its problems, but it isn’t loaded with microtransactions like Dragon’s Dogma 2, among other things.

I also don’t think an expansion should win Game of the Year. Better to have a separate expansion category. From those nominated for Game of the Year, I would like Metaphor to win.

So happy Metaphor is getting recognition. Actually an amazing game
