You know, thinking about it, "Geisterwelt" (Spirit World) wouldn't be such a wrong translation for the Fade.

That said: Spirit and Ghost get both translated to "Geist" in german. Mind too...

Right?  

Oooh! Btw I nearly forgot, Sera's greatest fear is "Nothingness" right? How did they translate that? "Nichts" 

Now imagine me, playing DAI for the first time, in german and seeing her gravestone, that said "Nichts".

me: /I know she's afraid of the Fade/

True, I bet he'd like that.

Who knows What they need to change, is how they translate friend. 
I know in english "friend" is kinds ambigous, sadly because of that they've translated it "wrong" twice in DAI and confused the hell out of me. 

in german:
Freund - male friend / boyfriend
Freundin - female friend / girlfriend
(depending on context)

now to example 1: in Jaw of Hakkon we got


Example 2: one of Cole's cryptic comments in Trespasser.

The english text says: "His friend had to die. Because he thought they were people. A slow arrow breaks in the sad wolf's jaws."
the german text is the same, but again they used the female friend/girlfriend translation.   Making it sound like Solas killed Briala as punishment for Felassan. 

Solas: You fought the Tal-Vashoth for a long time, Iron Bull, did you not?
Iron Bull: Every day.
Iron Bull: I'd kill some of them, they'd kill some of my guys, and then I'd kill them some more.
Solas: No man can kill so many people without breaking inside. To survive... those you fight must become monsters.
Iron Bull: The ones that kill innocent people, yeah. The rest... I don't know.
Solas: The mind does marvelous things to protect itself.

But Felassan was his friend. That's my point. He killed his friend for having compassion for people suffering in a situation that Solas created.

Isn't there a word regardless of language that means to slowly disappear? because to me that's what the Fade to me in all of the DA games is to slowly disappear

Hey - ham that tastes like despair has to be made out of something.

In fairness, they had Alexis Kennedy do a bit of free-lance writing, and anyone familiar with his work knows that cannibalism comes up with a... disconcerting frequency.

Frankly I'll be disappointed if there isn't any in the game. Ideally in a coat of stuffy British humor.
