EA’s E3 progressively gets worse each year! Shocking!

Should be fixed now. 

By the amount of content shown and the work needed to be done, I don't expect a game release before 2023. Anyone else?

I do think that a delay is possible, even more so with the current situation, but I don't think not showing a full trailer now is an indication of the release date. Based on EA's financial reports the game isn't going to come down until 2022, with a good possibility of a Fall release. They could have the announcement trailer at the next EA Play (in theory, there's still VGA, but I wouldn't bet on that), and have more then a year to market the game with constants trailers. 

DAI was formally announced in June 2013, with a release date in November 2014. I don't think a similar situation is that far fetched.

It should be noted BioWare has talked about how they liked how Fallout 4 was announced merely a few months before its release, so I wouldn’t use old models as a basis too much.
