Is the purple logo a reference to the purple flames in Trespasser? Archdemon? Purple Fade dimension from Lyrium Well? High Dragons? The Abyssal Rift? House Valmont? Sarcastic Hawke?

No Inquisition member in the DAD party that highly unlikely after so much build up in DAI.
It´s like the Grey Warden of course there is also one warden companion in DAD. Do i think that DAD needs one? No but still get one for the party.
Also what´s wrong about 3 known characters for the DAD party? I mean DA 2 (Anders + Justice, Isabela and Merrill) had it,
DAI it (Cassandra, Cole and Varric) so why not also DAD?
I don't know i would like someone with not that much power. I would love Teia, but i think she have to much power too.
Maybe she lost her power / influence because of the Qunari war or maybe it doesn´t matter for the companion if we have people with some power. If Bioware really wants Mae in the party they will find ways to include her.
An objection I have to returning characters is the way Bio resets their skills and abilities. For example: at the end of a previous game, Varric is a powerful char with Bianca. yet, in a new game, those skills and abilities are neutered to a beginner level. I understand it's a question of balance but still.......

Wrong forum?
My guess is a Mass Effect developer.
Emily Taylor was on Dragon Age before being moved to Anthem like most of the team back then. I doubt she was moved to ME after Anthem was released considering DA is currently the priority.
Also, I doubt ME has much of a dev team currently, BioWare just doesn't have the people to fully staff two games. Well three, because SWTOR is still a thing even if most of its devs work part time on it.

That wouldn't explain her loss of magical ability. In both the comic series featuring her and Tevinter Nights, that would seem to be formidable. In fact she wouldn't have survived this long in Tevinter if it wasn't. She also has her strong links to the dwarven Ambassadoria, which in view of the need for lyrium for the war, should only have improved her influence in the Magisterium.
May be she doesn't have to join us from the very beginning. After all, in DAO the companions only join us gradually and, depending on which order you choose to do the quests, you can be quite well advanced before they join you. So all they would have to do to make it so that Maevaris isn't a total beginner where her magic is concerned, would be to make meeting her contingent on doing a series of quests first, thus raising our experience and levels sufficiently that she won't seem out of place with her own.
Thinking about that need for lyrium by Tevinter, that could be the plot hook that brings us into contact with Maevaris. May be the lyrium supply has been cut off and she wants to investigate what has happened. It is possible that Magisterium as a whole aren't even aware of the problem but she is because of her close association with the dwarves. It would be doubly important if she and Dorian fear the Venatori may start supplying red lyrium to use instead.
Bah. Never got such funny stuff. Some incomplete bodies which where clearly due to DirectX-screw-up and templar Carver having texture-less white hair during the Meredith fight, but that's it.

Ha!
This seems likely, since he is better suited to daggers and his power tree doesn't have much for Bianca; hell half the archery spec is useless for Bianca if I remember correctly, and here I will admit that may be a stretch.
He's the Dandelion of the story, even if his songs aren't sung he is the keeper of the story. Yeah, he colors outside the lines whenever it pleases him.

Not a tweet, but it seems Dark Horse is finally putting out that third hard cover library edition collecting Deception, Blue Wraith, and Dark Fortress. Instead of calling it a library edition it’s Dragon Age: Wraiths of Tevinter and it’s to release in august.
Sorry, i disagree. We get a blight we need a warden
Sorry but we have in every DA main game a warden companion. Yes Anders / Justice was an ex-warden and Blackwall was after the twist a fake warden but in my opinion they count as warden companions because of their overall connection with the order in their respective games.
But be fair i don´t like it myself but DA 4 will have a grey warden companion. Also don´t forget Anderfels and Weisshaupt Fortress which we are very likely to visit in DAD. So no i can´t possible see that they doing DAD without a warden companion.
I'll probably repeat it forever until the game comes out. Trespasser said new people solas doesn't know. Inquisition member are person solas know very well. I think this is very importen. They should include that somehow. So less known characters are a way.
Well again the whole line is important: "Then we find people he doesn´t know". The first part is also crucial.
Someone from the Inquisition has to find those new people. I don´t say this has to be Harding but there is no way that there is a Inquisition recruiter if you will in the party. Not with the whole Dreadwolf storyline and build up in DAI.
That wouldn't explain her loss of magical ability.
So you are telling me that we have no mage companion in DAD?
In both the comic series featuring her and Tevinter Nights, that would seem to be formidable.
I don´t see this your point here. I would argue that makes it more likely because all of DA mages companion are also pretty formidable and special. Also this include the other DAD mages even the playercharacter when picking the mage class (not at the beginning i guess) are no jokes because for sake of gameplay they have to be like all companions mass murderer. I mean we not getting i don´t know him as DAD mage companion. Edit: I guess in theory it would be interessing what Bioware could do with him but No.
