Playing... the build? Yeah, there would definitely be early playable segments by now. And if they're not already doing external playtesting, they will be soon.

César @cesallone Wait what? Did he [FPJr] do something? What happened between him and Bioware? '-'
Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjr It’s just people getting overly upset. I’m not and there’s no need for outrage. I didn’t do anything. They just don’t want to work with me, which is completely fair. Just sucked at the time. Quoted retweets are usually over reactions in one direction or another.

it’s just that they have their “circle of actors” they prefer to work with. And yes, I definitely think that is sort of the case. A lot of the same voice actors show up again and again and again from game time game. I figured that was because they’re reliable. To be fair i want to believe that everyone (who is a voice actor/actress of course) has a chance to get in this circle. I mean Robyn Addison (Sera) and Allegra Clark (Josephine) began their videogame carriere with DAI but unlike FPJ they get plenty roles (both are in Andromeda and Anthem) after that.
Maybe it´s bit harsh but FPJ is a good actor but not a great & versatile voice actor. I mean why didn´t he get a role in a game like Call of Duty there he have to play similiar roles like James or Bull?

Loved him as Vega and Kanan, he did great with Bull even if the character didn't always jibe with me. Then even in Wing Commander and his role as Cole Ortiz in 24 was also great. Which he also played opposite the amazing Katee Sackhoff.

Speaking of voice actors i somewhat doubt that James Norton (Cole) comes back. Too expensive especially if je gets casted as James Bond (no joke he is one of possible candidates) and hasn´t done any voice roles after Cole. Edit: Also i don´t think that Cole even comes back. Yes he and Solas have a connection which could be develop further but Cole is too quantum.

User@realfpjr I know it's been like 8 years now but you still killed it as Iron Bull. I hope you're in Dreadwolf! Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrThanks. I am not. UserBOOOOOO! Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrHaha boo them not me. They have their circle of actors and I’m not in it. ME3 was a stunt cast and I couldn’t even get an audition for DAI so I snuck in on a group cast since they only listen to voices. Useroh i was definitely booing them. booooo @bioware @ea @dragonage Freddie Prinze Jr@RealFPJrIt was wild when they iced me. Back then it hurt because I didn’t know what I did wrong. My work was clean and I even did mad press for them. But hey, I’m not their kind of guy. They’re allowed to not respect me. The writers of those games certainly did so I’m happy. UserThat blows and is an undeserved icing. I was mindblown when I learned you voiced Iron Bull. Most impressive VA performance in the series. Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrGracias Userwell if its any consolation, i think iron bull's romance was the best, in large part due to your voice acting. Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrGracias man. @patrickweekes did nearly if not all of his writing. I loved Bull. My favorite role I’ve ever played. Live action or otherwise Patrick Weekes @patrickweekesThere's a magic that happens when you know as a writer that you can give the dude in the booth just about anything and know they're gonna knock it out of the park. It was an honor to work with you, man. Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrAll love bud UserThat fucking blows man. Iron Bull was such a great character and it showed you gave him lots of love with your acting Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrWord up UserI am so sorry @realfpjr. You deserved better. Your performance as Iron Bull literally saved my life as a deeply suicidal teenager. BioWare is wrong for treating you this way. Hell, the fans of Iron Bull deserve better too. @bioware @dragonage @ea Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrNah, people are allowed to hire who they dig. As far as bull helping you thru the toughest shit though, that’s awesome. Horns up for life UserWait what? Did he do something? What happened between him and Bioware? '-' Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrIt’s just people getting overly upset. I’m not and there’s no need for outrage. I didn’t do anything. They just don’t want to work with me, which is completely fair. Just sucked at the time. Quoted retweets are usually over reactions in one direction or another. User You don't understand the huge sigh of relief when you said the writers respected you. I'm sorry the company didn't Thanks for being awesome always. Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrI appreciate your energy so much but I promise you. I’m good. I’m loved, healthy, don’t need a job. Life is good. Give all that time and energy to you and your loved ones. 🖖🏼✊🏻❤️ UserThe writers 🥰 Too bad the people with the money insist on ruining everything, all the time 🙄 Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrBusiness User
I see. Sorry for asking, it was just surprising. You did a fantastic job with both Bull and Vega anyway Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrNo need for an apology. I just know how quickly poor communication mixed with personal feelings can escalate. It was over a decade ago. It sucked then, but I was just playfully answering a tweet. I really don’t care. It’s their business not mine. Userthis makes me sad; Bull was a favorite for me (and many others, I know). And let's be real: Bull had The Best one liners, and @realfpjr's delivery was *chef's kiss* I still cackle over titsicles or "anyone need a hand" Freddie Prinze Jr @realfpjrLike I said it’s all good now. Loved my opportunities and as I learned more about that world I figured out why. So don’t be sad for long. I’m not. And that hand line was low key awesome randomness

I imagine it might have had to do maybe he wasn't distinctive enough and they thought he would be related to Bull and since Bull is the dreaded Quantum Character (tm) they didn't want to bring him back. I guess ultimatley the bigger blow to this is that we won't be seeing Bull return in Dreadwolf even though there would be a place for him.

To be fair besides our hope for a small cameo with him and Dorian together it has always been pretty unlikely that a Tal-Vashoth could show up in Tevinter who is at war with the Qunari. But there is one good thing it´s a pretty safe bet that Bull gets mentioned by Dorian or other DAI characters like for example Harding.

Yeah I guess but I was also really looking forward to that level of perspective which Bull could have given to the whole thing. Especially if they were going for a 'lets introduce a Qunari reform faction' somewhere in the game given that Bull was a Qunari who was a big believer in the Qun and yet went Tal-vashoth anyways he probably would've had to say about that little subject.

The big problem with Bull is that he is a quantum character and if player don´t do his personal quest and save the Chargers he die as Hissrad.
And without using the Keep or not changing anything in it aka "Bioware canon" he dies at the end of Trespasser.
There isn´t that much that they can do with Bull with this restrictions than a small optional cameo.

I guess ultimatley the bigger blow to this is that we won't be seeing Bull return in Dreadwolf even though there would be a place for him. Bear in mind he can also be dead and whilst that isn't always permanent in Thedas, I think in the case of Bull it would be. So he could only ever be an optional character if he were to appear. I think that is why they made such a big deal out of the Bull/Dorian romance in the epilogue screens in Trespasser. That was essentially tying off their story for people who were interested and since it says that Dorian always headed south and met him on the border of Tevinter that indicates that they both felt Bull would not fair well actually inside the nation. I think Bull is likely only going to be mentioned in conversations if at all.

Bought a joy stick when I gor the DOS MFS in '89. then WC came along and I never looked back. I still have all the WC series and the dos MFS. That was fun.

You know, I believe Harding is on the cutting floor. Bio did a very good job of portraying her. I mean the graphics were excellent. You don't waste all that effort just to show a picture.

Sure it´s a pity that Bull and Dorian don´t get a scene together in Dreadwolf but to be fair Bioware couldn´t possible bring all characters which the fans are hoping back. To be fair, you have to wonder just what the percentage is of players that actually have a world state with Dorian/Bull. You have to specifically travel with them both in your party enough and have the banters trigger to get them into that state. And without a mod on pc to help trigger the banters more often, sometimes you could go entire areas and only have 1 or 2 go off. I remember just how much stuff I missed in my first playthrough before that mod came out. So I assume for console players it was even harder to get to that point.

I sense sarcasm, but I'm not sure what you're getting at? I'm just pointing out how utterly bizarre I find the situation of everyone ganging up on EA for this one joke. They make SP games FCOL you really expect me to believe that this was a deliberate effort to insult them? I don't feel insulted. I just feel much more weirded out on how personally everyone is taking this. Edit: yeah I'm with Smiles on this one, bioware devs former and current are (mostly) coming off as much worse looking than that innocuous tweeter. Unless of course it's all in good fun. You don't work for Bioware or EA. Your feelings of whether or not YOU'RE insulted are irrelevant. THEIR feelings are relevant. You don't get to tell them how they should feel about a joke made in poor taste by the people who guarantee their livelihood. Pretty sure that’s why they didn’t call him back, guy’s a great actor but I could still tell it’s Freddie Prinze Jr as Iron Bull. Unless BioWare has a new IP in the works I’ll doubt they’ll call him back if it’s not for Iron Bull or James Vega. I think that FPJ main issue is well he hasn´t voiced that many characters like a Gideon Emery. FPJ only videogame roles are just James & Bull and that´s it. No other gig for another firm or within Bioware / EA. I love Gideon Emery as much as the next person but he's also very easy to spot. Sure, he may have a wider range of accents in his pocket, but he's got such a distinctive voice that he can't hide it: the templar at the entrance to Lothering/Fenris/Samson/Gatsi (DA), Chellick (ME), Urianger/Nabriales (FF14), various background voices - just a few words are necessary to know it's him.

Which he also played opposite the amazing Katee Sackhoff. Nothing against Prince, Vega, but I would have preferred having a ME2 squadmate instead. He did well voicing Vega and Bull. I can understand if Bioware wasn't including him for ME4, if a sequel to ME3, since they can have dialogue saying Vega chose to leave the SR2 to help rebuild the N program, then train to become N whatever. With Iron Bull, he's a romance option. I guess if the Inq were to return, Bioware can have some blah, blah dialogue explaining why Bull isn't there.

A lot of people have commented on this who don't work for BioWare, including you...so is the standard that we don't have jobs at BioWare which make our opinion irrelevant, or that we don't agree with you and the current 'in' opinion? Whether or not I work at BioWare is irrelevant to the issue at hand. And I doubt my opinion on this would be any different if I did. Yes, it does provide them with a unique perspective on game dev but that also could lead one to a biased perspective which could lead one to being easily triggered over certain hot button issues. Which while I think we all are making a mountain out of a mole hill over this, and this might be a minor point it also does not bode that well that they can be this easily offened over such a non starting tweet. Yeah FPJ is unironically one of my favorite actors and weirdly enough an actor who I have seen in a lot of roles in my life. I certainly agree with that though my targets would be different. EDI, Liara, and maayyybbeee Javik would've gotten the boot.
