Lace Harding - Official Companion Thread [Spoilers]

When I joined DA:Ve I was really hoping there'd be a romanceable dwarf companion and boy howdy did that come true. Harding is ☀️delightful☀️

John: So I mean, if you’ve read the comics, you know that Scout Harding has been working with Varric to track down Solas. So she has been on his tail for quite some time. The game starts just as they finally - tracked him down, figured out where he is, but she’s been working with the remnants of the Inquisition, working with Varric, and then also working with Rook and Neve. Again, if you read the comics, you know that Harding has met Neve, they have a […] relationship before the events of the game. But yeah, she is dedicated to taking someone who used to be a friend, someone she considered, you know, even if they weren’t close, because Harding wasn’t part of the Inquisitor’s core companions, somebody she knew, somebody who treated her with some amount of respect, and knowing what he’s up to now, knowing she has to stop him, so.

Ashley: Yeah, you’ve seen some shit.

Ali: Yeah. We can’t really talk about it, you guys’ll have to find out for yourselves. But there’s been an evolution, so.

Ashley: Yeah.

Ali: So, yeah, it’s, it’s, I can’t really say anything else about it without giving stuff away.

Ashley: She comes back with such, like, a veteran voice, y'know?

Lucy: Yeah, I kinda noticed that, like, she’s, she’s got a little bit more of an edge to her.

Ashley: Yeah.

Ali: Yes.

John: Well, she’s been chasing Solas for almost a decade, so.

I think they mean they know each other, whereas for all the other companions are starting as strangers.

10 years? Talk about an egg hunt.

So about that trailer.

I already feel bad for Harding.

On a more positive note: if each mage in Veilguard is assigned/associated with an element - Neve (Ice/Water); Bellara (Lightning/Air)... then is it safe to assume that Emmrich will be Fire (or Spirit?) - and that our newest dwarven apostate one Lace Harding will be Earth? 🤔

You get hate for being too "ugly", you get hate for being too "beautiful" the Internet has many opinions and all of them are insane. Harding has always been beautiful. 

They know she would be too powerful.

Yeah Harding doesn't seem very happy with the marketting lately 



Hopefully they'll step up ! It's not because she is already known from the previous game, that they have to neglect that little flower ! 

I imagine a reaction similar to opening the ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones.

Yeaah I've noticed such thing too ! I absolutely love that ! A true girl with freckles everywhere ! 
Too often in video games it was indeed just on the face.
