I think it still counts for Zev as a looooooot of people pair him with Tabris/Mahariel/Surana over the other origins. I do think female elves are very popular, and not just in DAI with the race- and gender-locked Solasmance. Hey, that could be another interesting poll!  (There've been a few on reddit too which put female elves right up there with male and female humans in terms of popularity.) Wow, that's fascinating, I wonder why straight man-loving women like to play elves so much?? WELL LADIES?  Personally, as an Asian American I find city elves more relatable than the other races. My Tabris is my favorite DA protagonist and I hope we get to play as a city elf again. Maybe it has something to do with being an "other" in my own society who still gets to be the big damn hero in the end. Strangely enough I don't find the Dalish nearly as compelling. |

MLM for the win, i'd romance the shit out of any race especially if they had the swagger they have. But i mostly play male characters and if i have the option for MLM romances, i will always take them because the quote/unquote default gets dull, mostly because i'm not the quote/unquote default.

I wouldn't mind a person who was kinda like the original warden in the DAO trailers. Someone older and scruffy looking with lots of life experience and bit of a "I do things MY way" attitude. It's a cliché, but it's one I like  . Technically I do not care what race, though it would be atypical for an Elven companion, and therefore, imho, more interesting. Given the level of thirst for Orsino, Inquisitor Ameridan, and Abelas, it seems like there’s definitely an appetite for that. Solas will probably always be “technically the oldest” LI in the games, but he always reads as kind of young, both physically and socially. Spent too long sleeping I guess. Solas, really?? He reads as mid-40s to me; in fact I even wrote a story where he's just a normal guy and not a god (I hate that aspect of his storyline lmao, yay fanfiction!) and I made him 42. He's super grumpy and doesn't care about social niceties. He's very sure of himself, too. Nah, he's well over 40. |

I'm a guy and on my first couple playthroughs I'll romance a Qunari lady or Elf lady if the opportunity presents itself. Human and dwarf women are cool to.
Generally, when I play as a women I romance both genders.
