One thing is clear: Conditions around layoffs need to improve if the industry is to move forward. Many game developers are starting to discuss solutions such as unionizing, in the same way the film and TV industries have done in the past.

While it’s unlikely that unionization would perfectly solve all problems from the get-go, it’s a start. We all want a future full of inspirational games that continue to push new boundaries. Creating a better quality of life for the people who make them is the first step in paving that path.

Dream jobs are a funny thing. You can make money doing what you love. That’s pretty cool. But after multiple interstate, or intercontinental, moves for the sake of finding a new job, or rebooting your social life for the fifth time, or having to explain to your daughter why she’s changing schools and leaving her friends, the cool parts lose their luster.

And once that luster is gone, a dream job is just another job.

Conditions in the gaming industry are always worth highlighting. Chris Avellone chipped in with a some twitter comments about how devs need to stick together and be loyal to each other because the companies won't look after you.

Last week, Microsoft said that it would have news to share during today’s episode of regarding the future of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Now, we know what that news is, and it’s probably what you could have guessed.

During today’s edition of Inside Xbox, it was confirmed that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will finally be heading to PC. This marks the first time that the entire Master Chief saga will be available on PC and finally gives players what they have been asking for for years now.

343 Industries says that bringing all of these titles to PC is a huge undertaking for the studio and is something that they want to do right. As such, they’ve enlisted the help of external studios Splash Damage and Ruffian to help bring MCC over to PC. Furthermore, it was also revealed that each title in The Master Chief Collection will be rolling out one by one on PC rather than all at once to ensure that each game has been given enough care before release. The PC version of The Master Chief Collection will be available for purchase through both the Microsoft Store and Steam.

Most importantly though (in my opinion), 343 also confirmed that Halo: Reach will be added to The Master Chief Collection as well. Reach’s addition finally brings all Halo games in history to a single platform for the first time ever. 343 said it will be splitting Reach up into two parts when it is added to MCC with the game’s multiplayer being made available for free while the Campaign and Firefight will be a separate purchase. If you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber though, you’ll get all of Halo: Reach as part of the subscription on Xbox One.

Microsoft and 343 have yet to reveal when The Master Chief Collection will land on PC or when Reach will be added, but they promised that more information will be divulged down the road.

Interesting I enjoyed playing it on the XB1 so will be nice to get to play it on PC. Especially as I'm not great playing shooters with a controller and prefer Keyboard and mouse. Given I did have issues with some of the level design because I couldn't get the vehicles to do what sometimes I needed them to being able to use keyboard and mouse will make those sections easier. Been meaning to give the games another go but haven't got round to it.

To fight review bombing Valve will now have "off-topic reviews" excluded by default, this can be changed in user settings.

A problem is that Valve considers DRM and EULA to be off-topic, despite the fact that by purchasing a game you agree to it's EULA and subjected to it's DRM's performance impact on the game or the ability to activate and play the game at all.

Rage 2 is out of the equation I think. It releases in May. As for the rest, yeah Doom, WF, and the usual ESO DLC, probably some F76 stuff too.
Not particulalry interesting, I mean, Doom is fine and all, but I want substance like a Starfield proper 5 minutes trailer and perhaps another decent TESVI teaser.
