The things I'd add to this is that Inquisitors/Consulars can actually be just as melee focused as Knights/Warriors depending on what advanced class you pick once you leave your starter planet. They're really the only base class where the two advanced classes you get to choose between are so fundamentally different. And the other thing is I feel you're selling the Warrior story short by only describing it as "decent" when it's clearly tied for best with the Agent, but that's just my personal opinion. Well, yes Assasins/Shadows are melee and Vanguard/Powertechs and Operative/Scoundrels are even more counterintuitively "stealth melee"- but I get the feeling trying to explain all that would just confuse at this point. And I was actually being charitable about the warrior since I didn't want to pass bias to a complete newbie. But tied with the agent? lolno. The warrior is a tool, literally, for the entire run of his story and Baras is the most pathetic failure of a Sith Lord and archenemy short of Emo Ren making an appearance. Apart from Vette, there is little to be impressed with in his story as far as I'm concerned.
Now if Baras and Jadus has switched places...
Jadus is a overrated hack.

I totally disagree with your spoiler! If you play LS Warrior and play as a warrior who expects the "master" to turn on them eventually (because: SITH! It's what they do) and be smarty pants to him the entire story and turn all his enemies to your advantage it plays so much better imo. I loved LS Sith Warrior story. On par with Agent. But this is just my opinon. I did play a DS Warrior as well and it was okay to let myself be used and play as someone who was duty bound to their master only to find out I was being used & lied to. But LS just felt so much better! Edit: I'm on Shadowlands for anyone who might give a holler (can't remember if I ever said). Both factions. Nayelii is my consular on pub side and Corh'reenia is my agent on imp side.

I'm on Shadowlands too but I'm more of a loner and sometimes I play at a time when most US players are zzzzz. I'm likely to push my JK, Sith sorceress and warrior. Not too sure about the agent.

Mine are all on Jedi Covenant. Cerani - Cathar Smuggler (left of in KotFE just after getting to Sanctuary, wondering when we get back our @#$$ CARGO HOLD!) Aikeal - Sith Sith Warrior (just got to Rishi but didn't feel like dealing with Rishi at the time) Lunassa - Miraluka Consular (Just hit 60, so going to go back and do bonus serieses before starting Belsavis) All 105% LS, of course! The other names on caps were failed CCs now deleted. So here's my current triumvirate posing on their ships: What the hell?! How'd those get there?! Here they are posing on their ships: And I can just add how irritating the current expansion's name and acronym are? Every time I see the acronym I get hungry for kofte and the full title just makes me think of these guys:

Jadus is a overrated hack. His very presence causes fear and uneasiness. He actually gets shit done unlike a certain fatass. He also doesn't die like a bitch (or at all really). I'd say other than the "second to the Emperor bit" he's quite appropriately rated. Sorry, light side Sith makes zero sense to me. It's just not a thing in the lore. The only one who tried it up to that point was destroyed and mocked without mercy. And it really would not make sense for either the highborn warrior being raised and indoctrinated in the ways of the Empire and the Sith, nor the former slave inquisitor who's known only hardship and pain (and discrimination if he's an alien) at their hands, to be all goody-goody. You're free to play how you choose of course, but anytime people talk about light side Sith I cringe a little.
And yeah you can snark at Baras constantly but there's no way to shirk his rule or actively plot against him. You're his puppet regardless of your alignment and you never build a powerbase beyond maybe saving that one guy on Nar Shadaa.
I have found a way to play the warrior that's borderline acceptable and that's to make him a noble demon of sorts. Since he's always be a minion, there's no way he'll be a proper Sith. But by playing him as super dedicated to the Empire and actively hating and wanting to destroy the schemers that think they can do it better, it gives him a higher purpose than just being a gofer. He knows he'll never be a Darth. But if he dedicates his life to the system of the Empire and destroys any who threaten it, it will triumph and he along with it. He's done serving schemers and will be actively rooting them out. I got the idea after Shadow of Revan with the whole Empire's Wrath thing. Vitiate's shenanigans were the last straw. As for characters, I'm mostly doing story or FPs these days so chances of bumping into me are slim. But if you want to get together for anything give me a shout and we'll set it up.

And unlike Jadus is wholly reliant on the PC character to actually get what he needs. Baras already had everything he needed for his scheme, the PC just made things proceed more swiftly. Given he already had you know who before the start of the story line. Also I liked Marr a hell of a lot better then em too.

Baras already had everything he needed for his scheme, the PC just made things proceed more swiftly. Given he already had you know who before the start of the story line. Also I liked Marr a hell of a lot better then em too. Not really typical. No other Sith is said to evoke that with presence alone, short of the Emperor himself. Jadus is not reliant on the PC, he simply prefers to have all his pawns jump through hoops fulfilling schemes only he knows the extent of. You might as well claim that Palpatine is reliant on any one of his flunkies from Dooku to that blue Chandrilan guy who's always at his side (forget his name). As for Baras, I'd link the absolutely hilarious "interrogation" tantrum but I don't think that's necessary and I've already had enough laughs for one day. I'm not even sure why we're talking about this, like this is a legit comparison. Now if you want to talk overrated, you really can't do worse than Marr. Everyone's got a hardon for him for what? Being the only Sith who lucked out in not having a visible rival to make him hold the idiot ball? Marr is only a thing because they absolutely wasted Malgus on FPs and a stupid storyline for endgame.

Hey fellow swtor players! I've got characters on Jedi Cov, Shadowlands and Red Eciplse, been playing since beta.
Overall, I like the KOTFE expansion for what it was even if the story was ultimately lackluster. I understand that they can't do class stories or even faction stories like they used to but they trumpet the expansion as being a "personal" story yet it feels anything but. There's too much focus on other characters and not enough on the "Outlander." One thing I liked about DA:I was the fact that npcs would ask you questions "how do you feel about being the Herald of Andraste?" or Josi asking after your background. Those moments allowed you to roleplay whereas with KOTFE, there's no time for that (or romances). It's Lana/Theron directing you on where you need to go and do and "oh by the way, Arcann/Vaylin are super awesome". I'd like a few more moments of my character feeling super awesome. The class stories were all about that establishing your place in the galaxy and KOTFE more or less ignores it.
Regardless, still looking forward to playing the next expansion. Hopefully they address some of the story concerns people have.

There was definitely more freedom with the vanilla game, but KOTFE has been enjoyable nonetheless. I also can't wait to see what they release next. Now I just need to pick Kaidan Fan 's brain to see what she predicts will be next. She is amazingly accurate.

Ah, finally SWTOR discussion that doesn't require me to carry my key fob around! I definitely agree that there wasn't enough roleplaying opportunity in KofFE, especially since it finally gave us same-sex romances that were then...ignored. Theron's romance arc on Yavin 4 was better than the entire rest of the expansion! I played one of my bounty hunters through as soon as I saw her LI coming back and that, too, was sweet but far too structured and abbreviated. That said, hubby and I play together an embarrassing amount and the kids now play with us as well. My main legacy is on Harbinger but hubs and I mostly played together on Shadowlands until this DvL event caused us to seek out a new server for a new legacy (or, in this case, an old server we'd moved from years before). All my play time goes to Jedi Covenant, for now. I'm happily rediscovering why I love the game so much and am playing more male PCs than I ever have before. I've got one of each on all three servers now so switching the gender helps me remember which is which! Also, Vector has the single best "fade to black" scene in the game, though Aric and the F!Trooper have a better convo after theirs. So many of the female love interests have that frail-looking body type one that I can't bring my guys to romance a one of them but Akavi's catching my interest and overall SWTOR has given me a real interest in Mandalorians in general.

I play SWTOR as well ... started just around a good half year ago... the first char I leveled to 65 was the Jedi Counsular - and I still like her a lot (doing the DLC stories with her) but created 6 chars all in all that are between lvl 15 and 65. Still have to create the Imperial Agent and the Trooper ^^ I mostly stick to the SP content but doing H2 and the occasional FP my first "goal" was to find all the datacrons ^^ - Makeb was a pain in the ass but I am Datacron Master now - yay but tbh the things I enjoy the most are crafting, armor-shopping, trading, decorating... at least these are the things that are keeping me from pursuing the story

Everyones characters are really hot it is quite easy to make them hot the CC is limited and of course some of the "cooler" hair/tattoos/eyes are hidden behind $$ (aka Cartel Market) but I think it is fun to create chars

I'm glad I finally got to clear out the Shroud questline. It's an intriguing and challenging questline but a pain in the ass, where you need a whole group to actually beat it. So I probably won't ever do it again thus I decided to record it.

I have a bunch of toons that are stuck at the last 4 person part on both the Shroud and Seeker droid missions. I really wish Bioware would implement some kind of party finder where you can advertise and get a group.

I might do it again with my Female Agent, to see the Imperial outcome and also because it would be fitting. Master Spy vs Master Spy.

Agreed! I have only one character that got to the end because, when I figured out I couldn't finish the whole thing solo, I didn't bother with the rest of my toons. Instead I'm slogging all of them through the long, long road to Revan. I love the new planets, even the ones that only get used for flashpoints, but it takes way too long to haul everyone through them all. Then again, Rishi space pirates...
