Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor

I enjoyed the game a lot, but right now I am just playing other things for unlike something like Mass Effect the game plays nearly identically each time I play so I don't do a lot of back to back replays of Fallen Order especially since I have 100% the game along with getting all the achievements.  So I need to take a break and then go back probably in a few months to be able to enjoy my time with the game otherwise I go on autopilot and not really pay attention.

Yeah that's the difference games like ME and DA are desinged to encourage replayabliity because of the many different builds you can use in the games. Games like Fallen Order and Tomb Raider and the like whilst still fun games they're only really designed to be played every so often as there is only a limited number of ways you can play. Especially as wi thFallen order ther are some abilities that remain locked unti lyou reach a cretain part of hte game too suc h as you cant purchase the Force Push boostres until you unlock Force Push in the game things like that. Whereas in ME and DA you'er basically given the optoin of picking up whatever skills you want whenever you want within the various skill trees. So because of the limitations itcan be better to come away leave it a while and come back when you're refreshed. I definitely see myself comin back I just wantto rty out other games atm becaause whilst I am playing an old gam eright now in DAI I plan on going through a couple of nwe nes in Everreach Project Eden and Code Vein. But I can see myselfcoming back once I'm done there perhaps depending on my mood though of course.

Been platyin gfallen Order again must admit the amount of wal runnin you have to do at times can be a bit inasne but I must admi tthat bit when yo uride a giant bird on Kashyyk was very well done

Yeah tha tbit jus tbefoer yo umeet the bird is pretty insane. Unlocked the double jump and double lightysber too in that level while climbing the tree. Not suer Iliked the plant things that keep reaching out and knocking you off but I think the double jump's going to be really handy.

Yeah the double jumps kind of cool and the wall running can be fun too but having to do both at once can be a bit tricky especially given it makes it moer difficult to line yourself up. I got through it in the end so it's not a big problem jus twasa bit intense trying to puollit off as when you're wall running you have to keep your momentum up to stay on the wall.

Yeah I uase mouse and keyboard but then I als oonly hav e1 hand on the controls whic hadded to the difficulty. I njus ttried to keep the camera central while fpocusing on hte jumps. I ttook 2 or 3 attempts but I got there. But I must admit it was starting t ofeel like Overlord DLC again with that Geth cannon.   

I'm positive this has been mentioned before, but in terms of "little things" I appreciate...last night Cal was on Kashyyyk in the refinery and three storm troopers shot at him while standing still.

They all missed.

Last Trooper standing often makes some sort "can I do this?" comment.  Spoiler alert - no, no he can't.

Anyway, last man standing Force Pushed him off the platform we were on and as he fell "Ok - I can do this!"....splat

Jus re-started Fallen Order from the very beginning after taking a hiatus of several months....and right from the opening scene, I was reminded of the magical feeling I got when I first saw it, and why I so thoroughly enjoy this game so much. I'm playing through the train bit...and having a blast

Yeah, Dathomir is definitely one of the tougher levels, especially that part where you fall off the mud slide and drop several hundred feet (I'm guessing) and then have to work your way all the way back up to the top....Only to get your a$$ handed to you towards the end.  And I'll never forget the very first time I played the game and came to Dathomir....I was on-edge, holding my breath and jumping every time I saw a spider.  I, myself in reality as a gamer, have never been so nervous and on-edge while playing a game as I was that first time playing Dathomir (and the semi-dark lighting in my room didn't help my nerves- it only added to the creepiness of the level.)  And when I was finally back on board the Mantis, I exhaled a very long breath I didn't know I was holding, and I felt the hairs on the back of my neck and my nerves finally relax and stand down from *RED ALERT*

For me, my favourite level is Kashyyyk especially the second time around when you're searching for Tarful and you climb those vines going up,up, up, up......The way the camera angle pans out I instantly get a vibe "This reminds me so much of that scene in AVATAR when Jake was on the trial to get his banshee and he had to climb those vines and reach some insane heights....."  The environments are so beautiful rendered, it truly gives me a magical feeling even now my 12th time through.  

My next favourite level is Ilum (for lore purposes, seeing it in detail in THE CLONE WARS series, and then learning through Ep VII and now the links to this game that Star Killer Base is Ilum, that they are now one and the same, because the Empire had not only strip mined the planet for Kyber crystals (to build the Death Star's primary laser as mentioned in Rogue One and also now Jedi Fallen Order) but they then also drilled the core of the planet to create Star Killer Base.......such an interesting story link between all of those mediums.

It's levels like Kashyyyk and Ilum and games like Jedi Fallen Order, that remind me of other games like the Dark Forces series (games from my youth) which all serve as reminder of why I have been enthralled with STAR WARS since I was three years old.
