At the top of the slide you can then turn around and wall run again and leap with force pull to the first of two ropes. Then it's a swing/jump and another wall run.

So I'm approaching Dathomir now, just after my second time on Kashyyyk finding Tarrful....and during the trip to Dathomir Cere mentions that the Night Sisters were betrayed by a Sith Lord during the Clone Wars.....Whom is she referring to exactly? Count Dooku/Darth Tyrranus? Darth Maul? (I never really followed the CLONE WARS series in order enough to really know the ins/outs of it all).
I've always wondered who she was talking about.

Probably Count Dooku, since he was the one who ordered Greivous to wipe out the Nightsisters. Wouldn’t call it a betrayal though since that was after they tried to assassinate him multiple times.

Is this game actually worth getting if you are a BIG Star Wars fan? Absolutely. I know its a platformer with the occasional QTE and big influence from Dark Souls...which is already like strike 2 and a half. ...but does the game at least let you save whenever you want?

No. I thought not. Ah well it'll be 19.99 or on the PSP eventually. That it will. The story and progression thereof is extremely linear, as well. So, for all that I am enjoying my second PT (on a higher difficulty), there isn't a tonne of replayability here. It is very good, though.

I mean each time I replay all the DA or ME games its usually as a character I have already played like a half dozen times and just do the same things I do every time lol. Its just twenty years of gaming taste has made me realize A. I don't like platformers/ platforming puzzle games B. I don't like QTEs and C. Games that don't let you save, unless there is a really good reason for it (like time limits), really drive me up the wall. Or games that decide when you saved. I just have a hankering for a good SP story SWs adventure and its the only one that fits the bill right now but it literally has all my hated GP tropes. lol. Hopefully the rumors that they are rebooting/ remastering KOTOR end up being true... Edit: Its also REALLY annoying that I don't think there is any games that I want to buy right now with my Bday right around the corner which is usually when I get a new game to keep me occupied. That and around the Christmas season.

I don't know if that's helpful, but I also don't like those things you listed and they didn't bother me in this game. Once you figure out how the map works and start recognizing which surfaces allow wall running or climbing, platforming gets much easier. I didn't like some of the puzzles, but then I would just check the solution on youtube and get on with it, so it's not as bothersome. There are very few QTE's and they are really simple (usually you just press one button multiple times) and failing them usually doesn't stop the game, you just get hit or something. Saving is pretty much just choosing a new checkpoint when you'll respawn after being killed by an enemy, if you fall down from height you immediately respawn right where you've been before you fell. Tbh, what bothers me the most is not being able to skip cutscenes when replaying the game and that the story picks up pace after about 50% of the game. Before then, it's more of an excuse for going to different places and jumping around killing stuff. But the combat is really fun, platforming is well made, characters and the plot have their moments, the droid companion is pretty great, pretty good game in general.

I finished the game but doubt I will get the sequel when it comes out.
I also hate not being able to save where I want. Two games I played recently, this one and Control, both wouldn't let you save.

I'm really accustomed to the old fashioned "F9 = Quick Save"....and being able to quick-save at any given point, especially if I know I'm gonna run into tough situations. But I've played this game enough times now that I'm also now used to saving at the Meditation Circles. I know where those are and I've development a sort of management strategy in how I play so that I know I can hold out until I reach each of them, so it's okay.
I've beaten this game now 10x and it's still fun- even on STORY Mode. I just love the combat, the story, the characters, the locations....even the platforming-- especially on Kashyyyk and Ilum. Aside from the ME OT, my favourite games of all-time were the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series, particularly Jedi Outcast. Fallen Order reminds me of Jedi Outcast and 'brings back the fun' for me.

Yeah not being able to asv ewhen we like can be a bit of a draw back yeah the only good thin gthough is the checkpointts aren't too far apart so it doesn' t take long to normally get to the next one. But yeah I think moer people shjould take a cue from how Bioware do it in that generally unles syou're in a middle of a fight you can pretty much save whenever you like.

Just finished playing through Jedi Fallen Order again....and still, I come away with an extremely satisfied feeling. Every time I've played it now from start to finish, I have come away feeling/thinking, "what a great game. The best STAR WARS experience I've had since KOTOR and Jedi Knight before it. Definitely one of my favourite games. And no matter how many time I play through it, I don't seem to get bored of it. The combat, the characters, the gameplay/level design, the environments are stunning.... Speaking about my experience on a high-end PC, I can honestly say there is nothing that I don't like about the game. At first, I thought the whole idea of back tracking was a bit tedious and frustrating....But the more I've played the game, I've even come to enjoy that aspect of it.
Along with the Dark Forces series, KOTOR 1 and 2 and the ME OT.....I would put this on my list of PC games that simply have to be played. If you're a fan of engaging game-play mechanics, fun combat and a good story...And especially if you are a fan of STAR WARS, this is a game that should not be missed.

My CPU is an Intel I7 9700kf clocks at around abou t3.6 GHZ but has a top speed of 4.9 My GPU is an Geforce RTX 2070. It's proving t obe quite a beast so far. I've not played an yof m ydemanding games such as the frostbite games yet but it's definitely handling the ME trilogy very nicely so far. Despite the trilogy being 2 gens old nearly now the graphics definitely look like they've recieved a boost from my upgrade. But I can' t deny I'm really looking forward to trying games like MEA out on it. As I think games like that will really put my PC through it's paces. Especially as m yold PC was struggling a bit with more recen tgames. Struggled a little bit with MEA too at times.

Especially as m yold PC was struggling a bit with more recen tgames. Struggled a little bit with MEA too at times. That's a sweet rig, SJ. I'm running a nearly four year old Intel 6850K (also six cores @ 3.6 Ghz per core) and a GTX 1080 FTW 2. My dad has an 8700K with an RTX 2080 (he runs at 4K 60 hz, I run mine at 1440p also 60 hz) and there is virtually no difference between them from what I can see. In fact, I don't know why....but I think Fallen Order even DAI and ANTHEM look and play better on my system than his. When I upgraded back in 2016 from a Haswell Intel 4770 to the 6850K, I did so because I had 2 GTX 980s and 2 x16 PCIE slots on my board that I really wanted to be able to take advantage of. I bought the 6850K because it had 40 PCI-E lanes which would allow me to run everything optimally as an SLI configuration. Then a few months later I sold the pair of 980s for 700 CDN to pay for the 1080 FTW2 which I ordered online from the US because it wasn't available in Canada at the time....and that was just before Andromeda came out. I didn't want to get the game and not be able to play it because I didn't have a video card after I'd sold my two 980s, so I jumped the gun and paid about 1150 CDN when all was said and done. Then about 5 weeks later it arrived in Canada and was selling for 900 and something. I was not happy; I learned a hard lesson that day-- don't order anything PC related from the US. Whatever I'm looking for will eventually come available here in Canada and it will be cheaper to buy it here than pay conversion, duty, taxes, shipping etc. Still this X99 based platform I've built has been very stable, rock solid and extremely versatile even though I paid quite a pretty penny and a few bags of nickels for it. There hasn't been a game yet that I haven't been able to play at even above 60 FPS; my only limitation is the 60hz (and no gsync) on the monitor. I suspect I won't need to upgrade for quite a while....but temptation is always there, for sure.

Actually my I7 is an 8 core processor not 6 but yeah m yold PC had SLI but I kind o fdiscovered tha unless you'e rruning multiple monitors SLI isn't really worth it. Plus a lot of m ygames including Andromeda had issues wit hSLI so I ended up just turning SLI off. It's why I jus tdecided this time to instead of going for a dual card system just go for the 1 card and make it a good one as I'll be saving money as I'll only be buying 1 card instead of 2 butyeah my old computer started out with 770's I think when I first bought it. But I upgraded them for 1070's. I knwe though that if I wanted more which with the new consoles I will need it I' dneed a nwe system which is why I wentwith what I have now. Thoughmy screen an dcard can handle 4K I tend to run it a t1080p as I finsd iteasier to see. But I think by runnin goit a ta lower resolution it should run my games better and hopefully they'll perform smoother. So far though the ME trilogy is running brilliantly for the most part. At leas tME1 and 2 are. Lookin gforward to trying 3 tomorrow and seeing how that performs as I'm almost finished ME2 as I've onl ygot Legion's mission and the suicide mission to go.Th egraphics definitely look sharpened up compaerd wit hm yold system and the systems running pretty cool as well which I think is something my old system struggled with

I'm glad you're enjoying your new system, buddy. I'm sure you'll get a lot of years out of it before a true 'upgrade' is needed. Interesting....I thought it was only the 9900 series that were eight core CPUs, I didn't know the 97s were as well. Very cool. I hope you enjoy your system and have a lot of success with it for years to come.

Obviously I haven' trtied EA's rather powerful Frostbite engine yet bu tthat is next on the list as I plan on playing Andromeda FIFA and NFS Heat and Payback so I suspec tthose games wil l really test the computers power. I tshould be able to handle FIFA fine due to bein slightl ylower spec than most games but I know that Andromeda pushed my old system a fair bit in the nearly 20 playthroughs I did of it. So it will be nice to have it run nice and smooth on my new one.
