Two pugs stayed out of the hack circle for the entire duration of wave 3, hacked only one device on wave 6 and missiled on wave 11.

Why make a game take longer if you're only racing for second place?

Went on a ride on my jug. Picked up three newbies. Two did not bother to kit up and they were carrying low grade weapons. Reaper gold match, Dagger map. After two waves, they all decided to cluster around the jug who's downstairs rather than hold their own ground upstairs. One of the newbies dropped out; couldn't take the heat. A new guy popped in. Points to the newbies; they did their share of the objectives and kept their heads.

Stand By Me

Cerberus match on Hydra. Two newbies and a seasoned player. The two newbies were out of sorts for the disable device objective so the seasoned player and I did them. One was right out smack in the open but he kept his cool as I guard him.

Wander much

That's me really. Dropped into another Reaper gold match. The other three were kit out well and I recognised one of them as BSNer. So I lolly gag about (pop this and that along the way) and of course they galloped all over the map when banshees sought a dance. Couldn't do the disable device objective. Well, I could but I'll be dragging banshees and gang onto the other three.

Finally back in the fold. Played a pleasant Platinum PUG with some fellow Russians. Fielded my most beloved kit, Striker Volus Sentinel (there also were a Batarian Adept, a Collector and a Jugg). The game went so well that the only consumables I spent until Wave 11 were ammo packs. And then I forgot about the timer and failed to extract

                                                  


Hosted 1 game last night........a level 10 nova guard joined with a level 2 shuriken with ultralight materials and heat sink ( WHY, SO YOU CAN HAVE TWICE THE AMOUNT OF HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????? ) ...then a level 16 demogirl w a Predator and a level 5 fully armor piercing using everything Krysae......

decided to leave and go pug.

Teampower

XBox public Jade/Gold/Reapers using my latest build for my turian lady. I start the game alone, soon after two pugs try to join. It's obviously a problem as I get a revive medal just for one of them, who finally decides to quit. The other one, whom I highly recommend, pandamannaro71, rejoins - he plays a Talon Merc. We're also joined by a TSol who (rage?)quits after being grabbed on w3, leaving me and the TM in a duo. We manage to finish devices on w3, we escort together on w6, in short everything goes smoothly.
Comes w8 and with 2 banshees, one brute, a marauder and a ravager left, I overextend and get grabbed. My teammate calmly finishes the wave and I have to say he did a very clean job of it; w9 comes and goes without incident.
W10 is the hack in the Burning (lower) lab and again we're in the hack together, nuking, mining or dashing when necessary. He gets grabbed at the end of the hack so I finish the wave alone, doing, I have to admit, not as clean a job as he did.
But I manage it and between his mines and my dashes we extract both.
Sometimes all it takes to win is two good teamplayers, not another hero...

I think I pugged with the same guy the other day. Voice was annoying as hell and was having full on conversation with his gf, mute mute mute mute. I don't mind talking, but shit.

I wish, that would've made it somewhat bearable. 

Decent

Just had two gold games - Rio/Geth with my Kroguard. Happened by chance on two decent pugs: a Drell Infiltrator and a Volus Sentinel.
Why do I call them decent? Because they had all the good habits: in the circle for the escort (3 times) and the hack(once), they did devices while I kept the aggro, they even nuked targets when necessary; they also knew not to swarm the LZ, which is the most frequent mistake I see in pugs.
Rio is not an easy map, despite being the "grenade's heaven" and they both died a lot, but after I made a point of reviving them, they started reviving each other.
Overall I'd say well on their way to becoming good players and a lot easier than other public games I had lately.

Whoops, when I play Jug I ignore Banshees too, I hope I haven't been making anyone mad by doing so. I usually let them follow me around like puppies while I wander around taking out mooks and captains, then focus on them when nothing else is left.

Award

Well, it did not take long. I've got my first candidate for SaikyoMcRyu 's "George Carlin Memorial Profanity Award": me.

Still leveling my characters on Xbox, I decide to take my Krodept for some pugging. So U/U/Silver and I get on a GIP: w2 Trollectors on Hydra. With me a vanilla HMA, a Jug and a Destroyer. We make short work of this wave and trying to orient myself which mate should I follow I see that the Destroyer is not close to anyone, as a matter of fact he is perched in the waterfall...

He only gets down to get ammo, so he does not help with targets on w3 or devices on w6 or pizza delivery on w10. Revive teammates? Nah!
Of course I spent a good part of the game shockwave-ing whatever he was shooting   I mean let's make it easier, right?
One good mention for the Jug who really did his job as he should: drawing aggro, reviving the HMA -a decent player also helpful- and even me once. 

Comes extraction, last 15s, I run past a Praetorian and two Scions and I am in the LZ where I can see my downed Destroyer "friend" waiting to be revived(?)...

F**K NO!

Been rocking the classic FHE + Arc Pistol combo a lot lately, looking for plat PUGs and joining random matches fearing for my life. Last 3 or 4 games have been GREAT, despite the fact that 2 out of 4 U/U/P turned out to be against Geths and 1 was played with a team of three. The teams never looked that reassuring on paper but all the games showcased a very low death toll, good teamwork, correct times, no noticeable lag, really easy matches and a lot of fun.

I was so pleased that I made a small video about it, focusing on my love/hate relationship with phantoms, don't ask me why.
