I played games with him in the past, one few days ago. He's an huge scorewhorer and cheese lover.  I've seen him also with some rare cheese that common pugs don't use, like BPP TSol, which is a plus. But, hey, at least his games are quick and he does objectives.He was even reviving me.

So, let's say that we're in good terms. And this is booooring. I have to do something in order to ruin this . I've heard that this guy goes nuts if someone complains about his host. Well, next time i meet him, i know how to use the chat .

Just a few words on some recent pug endeavors...

3 Demo girls (myself included) and a BatSol in the same lobby. Those nades were flying all over the place, pounding Phantrolls and Goons on Goddess. GG.

I know that rant: Joined a Reactor GIP and sure thing, PowerDandy in his usual mood. After getting downed, he delivered another salvo over the mic at one of the pugs and ragequit. I can only imagine what it must be like if you're a newbie and you bump into this guy. I don't think I would have touched ME3MP ever again...


Gimmick

Joined a lobby with the usual OP setups; Reegar, Harrier and GTS flamer stuff. It didn't look too promising but OK, I often start out with an OP kit since you don't know what you're gonna get when entering the pugging lottery.

As expected, the game was kinda meh and my teammates must have felt the same way, because back in the lobby everyone switched to some more unusual kits. We had a couple of games with a motley crew of a Jugg, Asari Vanguard, GE and me with the Hsol, all carrying snipers. Much more fun, specially when we rolled Rio. And then the icing on the cake: Got a "thanks for the games guys" over the mic when our host left. Beautiful.

Reniniscent:

Started an U/U/G lobby which was pretty quickly filled by two newbs and a 4K CP player. We drew Ceberus on Glacier and I had a suspicion that my no-Hunter Mode, Acolyte-only, Geth Trooper Soldier was going to earn his credits on this one. Come the middle of the game, I was reminded of those early matches of mine where some veteran player or other was often kind enough show me the ropes and carry me. And that's how this game was, but, here I was doing the carrying, which I didn't mind at all because on this occasion the PUGs were doing objectives, picking one another (and me ) up and generally being good sports. Nice. Come the end of the match, I was the last man standing (which was irksome because I couldn't get to my teammates before they were stomped). As to the scores, well, what happens on Glacier stays on Glacier , but let's just say that I earned my highest ever score in a 4-man match. Sweet.

This makes me smile, and remember my old friend @phrozzy, who had been sniping all day in a Gold match to save my stupid bacon (which I realized only in retrospect).

On Wave 11, I dutifully listened to the Mission Command and headed straight for extraction, knowing I was doomed. For the first time in my playing history to that point (I was only pugging and had zero friends, he was the first on the list), someone got on mic and talked to me, without calling me an idiot or that I should play an easier difficulty.

He said, "No, Qui-Gon, get out of there! Come over here by me, phrozzy!"

I started running, saw his name floating behind a wall on old Firebase White near the back stairs, and actually survived a Gold match.

That was really nice of him. I started gitting gud immediately after.

My GE landed on Dagger against Collectors, with only a Fury host for company. That didn't last long as he was on the other side of the map and bled out before I got to him. We got Pizzas on wave 3 and I did them both, with him again going down near the ammo crate by the lower EZ. He bled out again while I was reviving him, which almost made me quit in order to cost him the credits, but as I was dithering I got grabbed by a Praetorian. I was expecting the Mission Scrubbed voice-over, but reappeared at the LZ with a Krogan Sentinel and Venom. Nice timing. He ran into the sniper balcony area, slapped a Captain and then got picked up by the same Praetorian that got me. I could only laugh. Game over man!

But no! We were saved by the timely arrival of a Human Engineer, and he (or she) took one look at the sorry display in front of them and whipped out their missile. Back in the game. After that it went pretty smoothly and we made full extraction. The Krogan left but the HE had impressed me enough to make me stick around for two more games, despite my slight annoyance at the host who continued to appear to be allergic to medigel, although he clearly had skills. We had a sub-19 trio game on Goddess and finished off with a truly epic Jade Cerberus trio, complete with Devices from hell. The host was the only one to make it out, but was again absolutely dependent on the HE and myself to get there because of his refusal to gel. Strange behaviour.

Dropped into the tail end of wave 6 on my jug for plat match, Vancouver. I noticed the grenades bouncing around. Wave 7 started, I made my way to two geth primes. Grenade confetti!! Primes went down like clay pigeons after being hit. I left immediately.

The quality of pugs is so abysmal recently. Very noticeable in plats. I'm always finding the match modded for the easy credits and easy kills. Why are they even playing ME3 MP when they don't want to rise to the challenges? I don't understand. However, it's very understandable when I find all three tend to be infils, 98% of the time, armed with black widows and javelins. I noticed a brave krogan soul in the match I left earlier.

The only good match in the last two weeks was with a host playing a batarian. He was not hiding, he was taking the mobs head on. It was just him and me. It was not a modded game. We did well; full team extract. I enjoyed it very much.

Since when did 'Technical Issues' become an accomplishment?



And if this is going to be a thing, can I get an accomplishment for stupidity?

Smooth

Played a handful of games and all of them went pretty well. Last game was against Geth and I had quite a bit of fun watching them ragdoll into the atmosphere from my venom's blue balls of love.
