Aaaand the downside of PC; got dropped into a GIP with a Puggernaut twice in a row, all weapons' damage set to 10x damage. Why the fuck do these assholes even host public lobbies? I got so mad, it's such a waste of time and ruining everybody's experience.

I got so mad, it's such a waste of time and ruining everybody's experience. Yep, had a similar experience just yesterday: hacked lobbies for one-hit-kill everything. I verified this by killing several primes with 1 mantis shot. It is a good sniper, sure, but ..yeah. I did write on the screen something about the lameness of it all. The host was a much shooting fury, and still wasn't top of the board. Another odd one last week was a 1.5 times or 2 times speed match. Felt quite silly. At least neither gave me any extra zillions of money. I'd probably hate that even more, as I've decided to build up my manifest with blood, sweat and tears. And plenty of cursing. Plenty.

Namely diamond/last stand, zombie mod, etc. I had one pug that warned people over mic before the match started, letting us gear up. This is passable in my book, but it's better to organize these through discord.

He that's the screen that greeted me after my last PUG. At first I though the Geth pulled a new trick after all the other stuff they pulled in that game. Kinda glad that it is not true. So there is hope to get some revenge later.

Frustrating. 12 seconds until extraction and my PS3 froze up. Ghost Hazard with Cerberus. Was having an okay match too! Yep, that'll do it. Hazard maps with Cerberus or Geth can be just as deadly as Collectors for freezing. Cerberus Turrets and Atlases are not without issues, though they're generally pretty minor, the hazard maps really do a number on the hardware, so it doesn't take much. Geth have both Turrets and Drones, Geth platinum can get a little dicey on PS3 with triple Primes spamming them. Honestly, just avoid the hazard maps not called Reactor (Well, I guess White and Dagger hazard are kinda stable on PS3, but they're terrible maps, London and Vancover are also not without issues, but still nothing to worry about in the majority of cases, you will notice them compounding Collectors, but Geth/Cerberus wont be a problem outside of hazard maps. Giant and Ghost Hazards seem particularly troublesome for the PS3). I bet that they're "Looking into it" and we can expect a reply never

RIO-T! After 2 wipes today and a 3rd match that was quite challenging, I started as a duo on Gold with one other player and landed on Rio/Reapers. I hate Rio. But this time, it was pretty damn amazing. We got new folks around wave 2-3 (Wrex-in-Effect joined, knew the name from reading it here) and everything went really smooth. My scrubby ass didn't even die for half of the game and I was using the Adas for the first time with my QMI. This setup was so much fun! Staggering enemies never gets old Definitely not the last time I used this combo.

DepressingSo yesterday I was playing some nice games with my friend LonneganD. Everything went smooth as silk, even our random guests were helpful, weren't dying much. So nothing suggested that things could turn around for 180 degrees. After a little break I teamed up with Mr PooperN7, also known as Bigass_Armour or just simply Ernie No one on my FL seemed available at that moment, so we opened up the lobby and got some pugs. Let me say this - I rarely bump into random lobbies with typical pug setups (like AIU/Reegar, TGI/Harrier etc.), but this time it was some mothatrucking wealth of those guys. I think we've got everything that was available. From TGI/Harrier, throughout AIU/Reegar, to Geth Trooper Flamers with Reegar I mean, I don't care what they use to be honest, but when someone ignores objectives, nukes the spawns on regular waves and during the extracion on top of that, you clearly get the message what they are up to, right? It was like bad karma. Maybe it punished me for teaming up with this old scrub I really wanted to share the name of one specific chap, but he sort of redeemed himself/herself during the last game (s/he revived me every single time I went down). Here's a couple of pics from that session. Exhibit A - Karma strikes again Nuking spawns on extraction. Getting wiped right before the shuttle arrival. I was thinking - you're on your own pal.Exhibit B - Last game of the day. Chilling with my Protector Spitfire combo. I couldn't be bothered with playing that match seriously. Especially with the guys who were trying hard to kill everything in sight.Exhibit C - My colleague stepping up to the PUG's level And it was the story of our every game we've played that evening. Wave 8, 9 - beginning.Exhibit D and E - Karma serves you right, you scrub Very satisfying moments indeed2/10 games. Would play again

I thought you didn't care if people went OP. I get it, don't worry.I've made two recent posts about keeping up with a Reegar Kroguard host (with my Shuriken), as well as another game that saw a player join with a Reegar/Harrier Turian. You have now provided screenshot evidence of this player.

You have now provided screenshot evidence of this player. Is this the same guy? Oh my, what a small world But the thing is, even that kind of gameplay didn't help them. None of them got 1st place. I think I've got 2 vids recorded from that session. And I know you understand me, but I'll repeat it again. I really don't mind people bringing AIUs/Reegar, TGIs/Harrier etc., to the lobby. If they are smart and they put team before their own ambitions, I'll call them decent players. If they would want to top score, sure, they will have to work for it, like everyone else. But nuking spawns on gold (and especially on extraction), despite the fact that the team is doing more than fine, is just boring. But I think I'm just telling things that everyone already know about, so shrug PS. Oh, and during the last game, I took my explosive Protector with Spitfire. Very relaxing game. Scored whole 50k with 10hs medal even. I was dead last at the end of the match, but I'm not ashamed of it Had some time between sipping my drink

I think I've got 2 vids recorded from that session. Certainly. The player in question usually does not top score when we play, not by a long shot. But, my Shuriken vs. their Reegar Kroguard against the Geth (+nuking) proved to be enough in this case. But I was fine with that of course, I was happy to get into six figures, let alone what I did score. Challenge complete and moving on.

Invisible Man and the useless For a gold collector match, I was bemused to find mobs going down without any credit going to anybody. Objective like download device was mysteriously kick off. It then occur to me that there was a fourth player. Totally invisible. His name didn't show until end match. That was fun. For a Cerberus gold match. A totally useless infil turian player who didn't do any objectives and spawn kill. He'd swam in for the last seconds of download device and was nowhere to protect during disable devices. The other two were better. I was getting shot at by a Atlas for the last device and the jug chugged in to put up a shield to protect and then divert the Atlas and other mobs.

Dickensian. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I had already played a solid enough game with a host using a Drell Vanguard. I needed one Jugg extraction to complete Reckoning Mastery, and sailed through, with the Drell topping the score by a mile but also costing us a 10WS Medal when he went down during one of the last two waves. We were joined by another Jugg, who was rather obviously concerned more with score than anything else and predictably he cost me a gel on extraction. I thought about leaving after the game but the host switched to a HFA and I went with my HE/Carnifex. We both had appropriate equipment but the Jugg readied-up with nothing. We got Geth on Goddess, and everything was going fine for a couple of waves but the host committed the cardinal sin of bleeding out during a hack. The Jugg and I made it through, and then we were joined by Lorbas74, who I haven't run into since the night ctc91 and I managed to make him quit his own lobby. He was playing a SI/Sniper of some kind, and lasted a wave before exploding over his mic in rage at the host's persistent Shockwave. It was seriously funny listening to just how brutal these ickle snowflakes can be when their jimmies are rustled. He died and quit shortly afterwards. He is undoubtedly a bit of a mental case, with no obvious skill for the game, but here's the thing - the host really was a total dick. He bled out again during W6 and then on W9. The Jugg left first and then I did too. I don't quit many games, but if I'm with someone who has over 200k in CP I find it highly unlikely that they don't have a few gels to spare.

I thought I left her in the dust, but she doubled back and I embraced eternity I usually don't like doing this, but if anyone runs into that Lorbas guy, you should boot him from the game. He has joined my lobby several times in the past few months and acts like an unhelpful dick every time. He constantly complains about others (when he should look at himself), brings the team down with his lack of skill because others die trying to pick him up (though he told me he can solo platinum), and he is generally unpleasant/unlikable. In the 9 months since I started this game, nearly everyone has been cool or helpful. He is the only one who is rude. Even if I pick him up, he will end up cursing me out for his own failings and saying I am compensating on a "dead game" because I have a "tiny penis." Lastly, this dude is trying to tell me how to play the game when he can't survive more than a few minutes on gold on his own. Saying I have to wait for a full lobby on gold in order to win. Geth the hell outta here man. DistigiousForest and I can hold Platinum on our own. I'm sorry if anyone here likes the guy or is friends with him. Just relaying my experiences. For others who don't know him, avoid him. He's annoying. But yeah, that wave sucked. I got grabbed by a stealth Banshee (she was making no noise). That Lorbas guy was right near me and didn't help me. And then she took out the rest of the team.

Curry-menu
On the menu for Gold/Reactor/Reapers: Curry with sweet revive medals and salty missiles. Silverpugs wanted to hoist it up to Gold, so having seen them, I switched to my Saber-toothed Big Juggs (just in case, and I wish I had been wrong). Started as a trio with another jugg, who went melee-happy (but I did see some siege pulses, too - so far so good), and a BatSent who went punch-happy in places he shouldn't have. Got joined by some sort of human, who spent more time biting the dust and/or then synced than running around, so I didn't see what he was.
I, on the other hand, spent my time Sabering and siege pulsing, reviving the said pugs several times, including the other Juggy. Even using a few missiles to save them a few times, managing to get the surprise bonus of 3 kill streaks this way - in the vain hope that they'd learn to keep their distance, or learn... oh, I don't know, something. Anything.
However, no Blue's Clues were being found, so I ended up currying solo from mid-wave 8, already with 75 kills early in the wave. The same Indian Menu for One continued on w9, and most of the escort on w10, while the others, in the midst of the goddamn mission, bleed out. In some purely insane moment of good will hunting, I even left my lonely escort, to try to revive 2 of them nearby (the human was already synced), only having him die soon after anyway. The puggernaut not even trying to gel (didn't see him rage gel earlier either, so he should've had some left). So I strolled back to my only friend, the chatty ball, weaving our way through a few brutes and their scrawny tall girlfriends, plus a few ravagers.
I felt more sorry for my husband having to listen to me grawrr and curse in various languages at this stupidity. I was very, very, very close to just walking over to the last left Ravager and wait for it to kill me softly and slowly, after I had finished the escort as the last woman standing. But I figured, this would not teach them anything anyway, so I pretended to be the hero who saved the day.
Come wave 11, one of the pugs went missiling something (not to save anyone), and I simply had to just comment with capslocks that we could have used that during the w10 escort. The Batarian extracted with me, despite his suicidal attempt to punch a brute, again. The two others bled out before extraction, and I didn't bother to saunter over that far. My juggy's back and knees were sore from the backpacking and the crouching for 15+ revives. Juggy needs new shoes.
