About the official website in-game rewards.

So far only two were revealed: a tender T-Shirt and a bodyguard suit. The rest seems to be a case of one reveal per month until release (i.e. March 2020). These are cosmetic skins. Going by the pre-order/deluxe edition bonuses, the game will have a clothing and weapon cosmetic skin system. It also seems to have what I would call "housing items" (I mean a sarcophagus table?).

I think that points to them re-used a few systems from the cancelled MMORPG.

I checked that before pre-ordering on gog yesterday. Paradox has an account frameworks for their game now so they can offer the same "services" on multiple download platforms, a bit like EA, where you login to your account in-game to get the in-game rewards. It was apparently in Tyranny but I totally don't remember it (but Tyranny is linked to my Paradox account so...lol).

They have pre-orders up on GOG.  For a release date of March 2020.  So...we've got time.

I am having the opposite problem, I cannot find my fifth one after finding the rare one first.

Just found it, it was in a weird spot that hid it nearly completely.

I just realized that Brian Mitsoda and Chris Avellone (he worked on Bloodlines 2 for 2.5 years) were part of Alpha Protocol team (after seeing someone in another thread mention the game). Chris was the lead writer and Brian was a narrative designer/writer (while Brian is lead for Bloodlines 2). Bloodlines 2 creative director, Martin Ka’ai Cluney, was working at Obsidian on the cancelled Alien RPG as a level designer back then too.

Alpha Protocol is the game I played with the most effective reactive story/narrative to date. It wasn't just a case of what dialogue option you picked, the order you did missions (it was none-linear) or finding/not finding certain secrets in missions affected things down the line. If Bloodlines 2 is following that design for its reactiveness...Considering Hardsuit Labs have experience in shooters/action games, Bloodlines 2 shouldn't have Bloodlines 1 and Alpha Protocol gameplay janks on top of it.

This is going to be epic...or a flop of immeasurable proportions.

edit: Looks like Brian says that his content for Alpha Protocols was for an earlier version of the game and was scrapped, but he is still credited so...

It's in the same category as Deus Ex, if it is mentioned someone re-install it...I did too (+ Redemption which I has yet to actually play despite owning it for years). But I'm currently doing a Skyrim Dawnguard playthrough for the first time (started playing before the reveal, it's either a sign or a coincidence) so I'm going to finish that first (as a vampire hunter).

All I hope isnthat the gameplay isn’t all “cinematic” and crap like it was in the trailer, I hope they are aiming for gameplay that feels in line with the original where combat could be avoided and sometimes should be avoided and tha your stats factors into it.
