Baldur's Gate III - Spoiler Edition (please read updated OP)

There is 40-50 hours of content in the early access if you do (near) everything, some people even took over 60 hours to do everything. If you just follow the "main story", you will still get around 20 hours out of it. 

The current early access is part A of Act 1 and ~90% of every quests you get can be resolved in it. What isn't resolved is the companion personal storylines, the main objective that is pushing the narrative (there is a complete story about the Grove/Tieflings and local cult of the Absolute thought) and a couple of side quests (that lead to Act 1 B or to Baldur's Gate which isn't accessible).

The early access will never move beyond Act 1. It's unclear if they will add Act 1 B eventually.

There is a hair mod, that lets you combine two hairstyles - really love that (I use it with the hairmod that gives you more options, like the Nightsong and it makes for nice combos).

My bard Liya is still at Auntie Enthels - despite that being my favorite spot on the map, I need a bit of a break, played the game too often.

Question,is this game now fully released or is it still technically early access? Also how well does it run on PC? (Based on the graphics im assuming you need a pretty powerful rig to play it?

Thanks, yeah that helps thanks. I personally wouldn't be able to get into a game thats still being developed. From what you are saying it sounds like it could be a very long time before they finally release the game in a complete state

What is up with the Auto pathing that makes your character walk through fire? Like obvi a PC doesn't want to walk through fire. 😑

I've incidentally sat through the introduction area several times. I would have thought this area would have been pretty tight and fixed by now. Yet I got stuck in the ceiling once, Gith Lady face melted once which was LOL the pathing is super bad. It tries to make me do a short rest in acid when I start dying 🤪

It looks like it hints to sorcerer. I like the class, but I want my bard so badly.

I am reloading a lot in this game

And I didn't know how strategic resting was so here I am out of spell slots trying to fight some harpies or

Time pass but isn't a factor story/gameplay wise. Also, no long rest means missing companion's interactions.

At some point thing will make sense...with lots of questions that don't get answered.  

That's kid and harpy thing is more like an event. There are a few encounters like that where you either participate right away or let events unfolds without you. They are usually evident.
