No weapons, no armor, no clothes... and the camera controls are borked.

Patch 9's definitely taken on a different... tone... from my previous PTs.

Hopefully they base whether you get celestial, fey, or fiend guardians on your gods alignment instead of your own. (If each god got their own spirit guardians design that would be cool but i shan't get my hopes up for that)

It was shown in the stream toward the end, and I while I said it was angelic, I was wrong. Rewatching more closely, those tiny incorporable creepy winged creatures circling a bit away from Shadowheart are clearly fiendish looking. It's just that they are blueish-white in colors which is usually used for "good" aligned stuff.

I listened to Chubblot's VO "leak" from about 5 months ago (post patch 8) and Larian is really rewarding playing the evil path (i.e. joining the Absolute) with evil lady sex. Minthara has competition. Someone else gets really thirsty for your character at Moonrise tower and even judge your romance choice or your choice of staying single.

Looks like they kept some of the origin self narration and Wyll had a new line that mentioned Helia in patch 8, I guess she is still in there somewhere.

Right now, they both break oath if they kill "innocent" (a new flag), for attacking non-hostile first (and killing them) and going back on their words in dialogues or outside (making enemies pacific via dialogue and attacking them afterward count). Things can get real confusing in some cases, like if a non-hostile join an hostile fight and the Paladin is the one to kill them = oath breaking.

And the Ancient has to walk on eggshells when dealing with a hag (might be valid for Devotion too).

Lying by using deception tagged lines doesn't appear to cause oathbreaking. Stealing doesn't either. Well not on the Ancient, I haven't tried Devotion, maybe I should try Devotion.

Vengeance "oath breaking" are very dependent on what they define as their sworn enemy or enemies/greater evil, but the subclass doesn't make you select one officially. They might default to undead/fiends since one of their channel gives bonuses against them (well malus to them) and I think we are going to deal with plenty of both. Otherwise, they could make the selection based on a deity selection that do not exist in patch 9 (but they haven't fully removed that from the game, so the feature was in).

I think they might have removed Vengeance because what they really wanted tested by oath breaking and going Oathbreaker...and vengeance has less places they can "trip" in the early access. Most of the the undead/fiends stuff comes a bit later. And now I wonder what happens if you give Astarion back to the hunter. hmm. My plan wasn't to play BG3 a lot.

Oh and I need to see if the Ancient oath break for breaking someone lute now that I think about it. edit: It doesn't, that's like the one time Of the Ancient oath should be broken, broken.

We're definitely getting Oath of Vengeance in the final release, because they've said they're doing all the subclasses in the Player's Handbook.

The real question is whether we're also getting Death Domain clerics. (They're in the Dungeon Master's Guide, which is also where Oathbreaker comes from, so ... maybe?)
