I'd have no problem whatsoever! *_* I had a pet goat for a time, and she was basically a dog who didn't eat meat! A goat companion would be cool, especially after the goat massacre of Hinterlands.. and Skyhold. Goats need their payback. A goat big enough for being a mount *_* even if the original is an... Ibex? Stone goat? (I have no idea how is translated stambecco in English) would give a big Prince in Princess Mononoke character. I frankly love both the stambecco and the big wolf as a mount! *_*

Read this article and you will know why Kamala Khan has stuck around (and why she is in the upcoming Avengers game). Her TPBs sell really well. Looking at her floppy issue sales doesn't take the whole picture into account. She sells trades. I read it. It implies Kamala is an irregularity in the industry. Big implication.

I just don't understand why we have the same ridiculous behaviors, ok the Op is a troll, but everytime that someone states that Cassandra doesn't appeal to him, I feel the same hostility from some. ( talking about " boner" ) And that is what I don't like. Everyone has different tastes. Respect that. Oh please, why don't you see from our side. Do you remember BSN prime when a guy used anthropology to convince that Cassandra was a guy. I remember people calling Cassandra a "trans" multiple times in not just that forum but others as well. You say respect but how can one show respect if they're spewing out nonsense? How come they don't have to have that same courtesy? I mean Cassandra isn't the conventional female but come on, do developers self censor themselves and not have any other looks represented other than the "average male" which by the way is a vague term?

Can we just agree everyone has a different taste and leave it at that? Great...
We haven't just different tastes, we also have different opinions, or analysis of situations and it's totally OK to not be on the same line and sharing our thoughts, like in any other thread. Let's just avoid thinking we are superior to other people for liking or not liking things. I have sometime the feeling, while remaining silent but reading different threads for months, that on this forum you aren't allowed to not be attracted to a particular fictional female character otherwise it is considered offensive, you are a terrible human being, with the same annoying trend where a few try to shame or silent those that dare thinking that way. ( I am not talking about the Op that is obviously a troll, I am talking about those that just state their opinion but get hostile responses ) I don't know, I mean I think Cora is absolutely gorgeous in Mass effect Andromeda, but I never felt the need to be on the defensive, " she is beautiful, WTF are you smoking, go search your porn elsewhere, you are just a troll, nobody cares about your boner, etc " whenever I fall on a comment stating that her haircut isn't good here and there. I just shrug and move on. The same with Miranda compared to Michael Jackson. To each its tastes. On the opposite, I rarely stated that Cassandra wasn't my thing, even in such thread, Because I don't really care to be honest, it's just a romance that wasn't for me. But I do feel concerned when I read some comments ( I'm not talking about this thead in particular ) about those that are not necessarily attracted to her as if they were some weird aliens if not more, like ridiculous assertions about women's objectification. Yeah, attractiveness on a human being doesn't work that way. I don't care whenever I fall on female 's comments about Iron Bull or Blackwall not appealing to them or their romance content not appealing to them or stating that they would have been furious if Cullen and Solas wouldn't have been added to their romance numbers in the last minute, knowing they would habe been disgusted with just Iron Bull or Blackwall for romance. I never went crazy with " OMG objectification of men, terrible human beings terribly demanding, Iron bull and Blackwall are handsome, get over yourselves, " If anything I only felt sympathy. If everyone is okay with everyone's tastes since the beginning and let it go, it is less likely that we argue over such thing over and over again to be honest.

*disgusted noise*
I remember when DA2 first came out and Aveline received the same (if not worse) reception as Cassandra know the most modded companion on the Nexus for DA2? Aveline, most if not all try to convince you she should be "prettier" "I made Aveline prettier 'cause I don't like the way she looks" some even put that in their exact description
well I got news for you people, not every woman looks like a frickin' fashion model, in fact...not even most fashion models look that way without makeup and photoshop getting involved
and know what? That's FINE, I like diversity, and Cassandra, Aveline and Vivienne look like amazing WOMEN, so they have a bit more angular features...know who else does? this lady > and as I recall most people find her attractive
yes these types of threads anger me why? Because I'm often told I don't confirm to the "norm" of being a pretty woman...and I'm sick and tired of people harping on other people's appearances, ESPECIALLY when they're fictional
I mean, come on people

A guy. One guy. The same guy. The same guy doing the same thread over and over again. You just have to ignore him... right.... ? No ? It seems the BSN is absolutely unable to do that however, his thread always having ton of pages until the thread get locked everytime... If people didn't respond to his posts, that wouldn't happen to begin with. I obviously said it was a troll, no ? Except maybe him, I have hardly seen anyone being rude nowadays. Unless you consider not finding Cassandra attractive being rude. It's just that some people have some difficulty to accept that Cassandra or Sera or Josephine couldn't be attractive to some. You are talking about the past, as if we were still in 2014... It has already been several years already that I haven't seen anyone else stating that Cassandra is a trans on this forum, you could maybe calm down a little over such ridiculous thing from the past ? There are still a lot of fine guys who don't find Cassandra appealing to them and that is perfectly fine. I don't see why Cassandra would need a moralist defense Brigade jumping on the throat of anyone not thinking the same as you. It seems to me that one guy doesn't justificate hostile comments for other people just stating that they are not attracted to any of the DAI characters or even asking for prettier characters if that's what they think. That's sounds dumb to me if I am to be honest. Look, Cassandra does look a little androgynous to me. IT's NOT SOMETHING I DECIDED to think myself. It's what I feel, it's how my body reacts when I watch her face. Maybe again the poor lightening on her face during a lot of the game doesn't help. Hence a part of why she doesn't really appeal to me. ( If you think that she is the most gorgeous woman you have ever seen, I'm glad for you, with all honesty. I respect your opinion )Of course her romance content could have changed my opinion, but I didn't like it. I moved on. That didn't prevent me from trying several times her romance, at least, end of story. To each his tastes, and I 'm okay if other people don't agree with me. It's okay if you want to be rude, but then don't expect other to not be rude too. That works both way my friend.

Syv heh, know what's funny? I'm great at respecting other people's opinions, just not so good at agreeing with them
So while I can see your point, I can't agree with everything you say
I can agree that certain characters were created to appeal to a certain demographic like...Cullen appeals to me because I like his voice...the fact that he looks good is an added bonus I also like Solas' voice, and Blackwall has a great voice as well...but they don't nearly appeal to me as much neither does Iron Bull, but that's mostly because I'm not a fan of his BDSM romance arc (still love him as a character though)
as another example, when I first got into Dragon Age I was a huge fan of romancing Alistair, then I moved on to Zevran now? ...I don't like either of them all that much anymore, I mean sure...I still occasionally romance Zevran because I like him
but I've grown fond of Nathaniel instead, even though he's not a romance at all...most people don't even view him as attractive
what I meant with the part you quoted from me earlier...is that it'd be great if people just respected other people's opinions and views sadly we don't life in an idealistic world...
little while back on a program in my country there was an interview with Stephen Fry, who explained that the internet is this generation's Pandora's box and I'm sad to say, I agree...it's a great source of wisdom, yet sometimes I question my sanity and wonder "why'd I come here again?"
hm...now I got side tracked...ah well

WTF is a "Kamala Khan effect," anyway? Is this some alt-right douchebaggery I haven't yet heard of? (And yeah, I know who Khan is.) Indeed - there are a bunch of people who insist that Marvel only publishes Ms. Marvel and puts Kamala in other books because of 'virtue signalling' or 'diversity points' or some other nonsense.
(If I may be permitted an extended digression about comics: this is bullshit. It's true that none of Kamala's solo titles have sold particularly well in the direct market, but if Marvel actually gave a flying fuck about 'virtue signalling' there are a couple of dozen other titles that would still be in publication right now. I particularly mourn the passing of Sina Grace's excellent Iceman solo book. Ms. Marvel has survived many waves of cancellation for several reasons. Just like Ryan North's Squirrel Girl run, it sells better in trades than in floppies. More importantly, it sells to a different audience than the one that traditionally buys Marvel comics. That's huge for them! The immense financial success and cultural impact of the MCU has mostly failed to translate into comic sales, which just keep going down as the traditional comic shop audience gets older and older. This is a problem if they're going to keep the comics side of the business going and thus use it as an idea farm for TV shows and movies, so getting people who don't normally read superhero comics to pay attention is always a big win for Marvel.
The fact that Kamala's solo books have been critical darlings because they're really good and fun to read is nice and all, but again, Marvel's catalogue is littered with titles that critics and devoted readers loved that got cancelled anyway because of low sales. Ms. Marvel stays in publication because it's achieving things for the company that other books are not, and they'll gleefully high-five each other when her TV series does well.)
No tjust ther but in the Avengers game that' coming too as it looks like she plays a key rol ein the games story .Must admit I'm looking forward to using her powers in the game she reminds me a lot of Mr Fantastic in that regard. I should add that it also depends on who they'er aiming the books at too an dwhether that particular group aer actually reading them. Because another grea texqample of this is the original Star Trek TV series with William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy and why that ended up getting cancelled when it did after just 3 seasons was because they got the demographics wrong. As they shouldn't have been looking at the general demographics but rather who the show was aimed at because it was found out later that while the general figuers were low the people who it ewas aim,ed a tno tonly were watcvhing i tbut heaven forbid ENJOYING IT. It's one of the reasons why it got syndicated for reruns later and eventually got expanded on in the movies.

Anyone else want Bio to put a trans LI in just to watch people's heads explode? After Andromeda and Anthem all I'm hoping is that Bioware make the next Dragon Age an all round solid game.

I mean, come on people It's a natural side effect when including romance in games. Why? Because romance is based off (in part) attraction and so therefore it is only natural to get into discussions about attractiveness when talking about a mechanic which aims to attract members of the audience. The only way to get rid of these arguments is a) be more tolerant of each other or b ) because A is apparently impossible in today's world, scrap romance all together. I'm all for B to be honest, but hey I welcome the flames that opinion will garner :3

Sorry but out of all my play throughs as a male, Cassandra is the best what man would not love a woman that would fight tooth and nail to protect me? joking aside I romanced Cassandra more than Josie in DAI that is in DAO it was Morrigan or Liliana.

Indeed evreyone has to pla ythe Archdemon. it's actually an Elder Scrolls Dragon...but Archdemon fits better
though technically it's a wyvern... 'cause no front legs I thought so Archie always did have a loud roar.

though technically it's a wyvern... 'cause no front legs So that is the difference? *looks up wyvern in traditional heraldry* Aaah, mystery solved. Now I also realised why these Skyrim ddragons came across as kinda odd to me at first impression... just two legs. Watching them waddle around on their wings... well, at least that saves us from frontal claw swipes.

No reason they can't do both, though. Supergirl's as good as it's ever been after adding Nicole Maines to the cast.

Anyone else want Bio to put a trans LI in just to watch people's heads explode? As long as she is hawt, I don't care if people's heads explode.
