Today I finished the Jotunheim/Asgard arcs and returned to Norway. Not much to say on most of the mythical arcs, although I'm glad you all gave the advice of finishing them before going to Norway. It definitely makes sense to do in that order. Also, Havi is kind of a terrible person Here's the Jotnar woman whose name I already forgot glitching her hand through Havi's neck. When returning from Jotunheim and Asgard, Eivor donned her Samhain mask. Why, Eivor? Why ruin the cutscene? Almost-endgame spoilers below! As for the betrayal... ...I'm wondering whether Eivor saw Havi's betrayal of Tyr, rather than her own future betrayal of Sigurd. Unless it's just like she said, that she "betrayed" him by taking away his dreams of England and Valhalla. I'm not done with the game yet, so I might still learn the answer to that. I saved for the night before doing whatever Layla is going to do. Save the world, I guess. Ouch, Sigurd. Ouch. Is she supposed to be blonde again in the "fight" with... ...Odin? Or is that a glitch? What a lovely setting for groundhog day! The boss fight before being transported back to Layla was incredibly frustrating. Once I realized Basim is Loki (I'm a little slow), I figured I wouldn't be able to do any damage to him/spill his blood, so I looked up wtf I was supposed to do to win the fight. But somehow I still missed the fact that in the last section, you have to hit his hand and stun him within the lit-up rune circle. I hit his hand SO many times and he always broke out of the stun and I thought the fight was glitched, but I just wasn't standing in the right spot. It really destroyed the pacing of that last scene, let me tell you. I don't know whether it was unintuitive or I just wasn't paying enough attention. That said, I've really enjoyed the end game so far and am rather miffed to get forcibly yanked away from Eivor and tossed into Layla's story again. Hopefully I'll be able to finish tomorrow.

Speaking of, the Odin arc was definitely my least favorite part of the game. I just don’t like how much is false due to Eivor’s beliefs changing things. I’d rather see what actually happened. At least the FoA DLC kind of fit what we knew of the Isu, just with a Greek paint job.
Though I am curious to know what Fenrir truly is, considering it wasn’t just Odin’s group but seemingly all Isu that were terrified of him. And I don’t think he is a hybrid experiment like the beasts in Odyssey, since Aletheia in recording shows her disgust towards the Olympus Project.

I'm actually missing Valhalla, believe it or not. I dislike the cyberpunk music (it's not my cup of tea, metal electrical zing zangs, the beat, screaming whatever) in Cyberpunk so I toned it down to almost nothing. I'm disincline to explore the city with the car because it's not easy to navigate the city streets; the car moves at a snail pace because I'm prone to hitting stuff turning corners and it's a bit unwieldy. I can beat it to the destination by walking. I wanted to whistle up the horse but there's no horse. I can't see the MC. I'm fine with 3rd person view. It's just that not seeing the char is like missing something essential. *shrug* Missing that; oooh, the char look so awesome! These were all things I worried about with CP I am glad I decided to wait and see before buying it. I had hoped that Valhalla would hold me for a long while like Odyssey did (played it with breaks for two years) but I can only see myself playing once more. There was so much variety and fun with armour, abilities, game play and just the Greek Islands themselves were so much fun to roam let alone do anything. Praying for NG+ and Transmog soon with Valhalla. Got a little bit done tracked down the emissary to King Aelfred and stole his letter without killing him, did get spotted by guards though and did a runner from the castle. Also found some armour, did a cursed location and did some mysteries none of which were memorable. Got the clue re the Snake picture on the map will try and fine the treasure trove hidden there which I am sure will probably be some Nickel. On a personal note to add to my nerve problem in my neck went to watch some sport yesterday and tripped going down a a set of stares on the anti slip part of the second last stair and then missed the last one and landed with my full weight on my right ankle on the landing, Very swollen and can't put weight on it and have to use crutches, off to get a CT scan later today, can't wait for 2020 to F$%k the hell off!!!!!

Some pic's from yesterday's play, I like Cent it's probably my favourite region so far. Anyone have any idea if this symbol means anything?

It took me a bit to find the right spot in the fort to steal it from him without getting spotted! It's the first quest that actually had an old school AC feel to it, climbed some walls, sneaked, ran along some tree branches jumped into a haystack and assassinated a guard, waited patiently for the emissary to leave his guards, stole the letter and ran like hell!!!!!! I was disappointed I got spotted but the objective just said steal it without killing the emissary so, steal and run.

Thanks, unfortunately I have dislocated this ankle badly twice before one that involved fracturing the Tibia so I am worried with the force I landed that may be an issue as well as I have pain there. Anyway the funny side is that security came over to harass me and my friend as they thought I was drunk (I had had one beer), when I told them their stairs were a trip hazard and I was thinking of suing (the stairs had this metal thing on them at the front which when descending is an obvious trip hazard) they became far more friendly and helpful.

Rest often. Hope you'll recover soon. Goes without saying that more care must be taken when it comes to stairs. I had an incident with my right ankle once when it gave out on me suddenly. It was a simple normal step down and I felt myself tilting, the ankle giving out and I fell. Luckily it's a sort of "falling well" because I didn't injure myself nor hit my head on the car. From then on, I'm more cautious when it comes to stairs.

A question for those who have finished Hamtunscire and saw the death of Hunwald. As Eivor walked away, she started to say a line about friendship that cut off because some enemies showed up, and after I killed them she didn't start to say the line again. I reloaded the scene at least 4 more times to try to catch it, but each time it either cut off too fast for me to even read the subtitles (because enemies were waiting), or it didn't trigger at all (again, enemies). Anyone know what the line was? I know it's a small thing, but it's bugging the crap out of me.

They say something along the lines of friendship being valuable because it can be lost, and without that it is meaningless. They say it in a mournful way, so it’s not like they’re disregarding him or anything.
