So given how good the graphics were for the last two games I'm wondering how far they'll push visuals with Valhalla. It's cross gen so the PC version might even be a step above Odyssey and that was a very pretty game.

I think I need to stop reading posts by "NotMyAssassinsCreedGame!" people online. They grasp at (dev) straws to the point they believe Valhalla will be like the pre-Black Flag AC games and not even a RPG now. The latest one is that they hated the mythology related creatures in Odyssey and they think the devs saying Valhalla will have grounded mythology means there won't be any. The Odyssey takes on mythology was actually very grounded compared to Origins, the previous game made by Valhalla's team. The Valhalla CGI trailers tells me we are getting something quite similar in term of mythological stuff being real to the protagonist anyway. Which means I expect a "remake" of the Apep (aka Apophis) boss fight to take down Jörmungandr in Valhalla. I think my biggest complaint about the story elements of Odyssey is the origins of the protagonist. It really felt like they were searching for a reason why I could go slaughter hundreds of enemies without a scratch, but fell really flat.

So, I just heard there will be insult duels in AC: Valhalla ( Flything). Brings back Monkey Island memories.  I wonder if the insults should be Assassin's Creed specific? "Your mother isn't very true but at least with her everything is permitted."

I do fully expect a Ragnarok DLC or something like that though.

This "gameplay trailer" is shorter than the ones they made for Origins and Odyssey, but unlike these two, it doesn't have voiceover that makes it seems like they changed the plot of the game 4 months before release and it's not super absurd in its presentation. So I call it a win, even if it tells me nothing about how the game plays.

Outside of pre-rendered cut scenes, I don't believe the game will look like that. It was borderline CGI. You'd think Ubisoft would have stopped pulling this shit by now...
Oh well, the artistic direction is clearly good.
