leonardo silva @leonard32347557I want to know if they will improve movement and facial expressions in the cutscenes Benoit Richer @benoitricherDefinitely yes Thank god, because they're undermining the VOs at this stage.

I rewatched the Fate Trailer and I really dig the "England mysteries" part of it and the cinematography. If the game end up looking that good on my PC, I might be worth it as just a scenery simulator even if the rest is trash. I clearly don't really care about the "make an home in England" part thought. I think I just fail at constructing a conquest and colonisation desire at the RPG level for Eivor. Also, I think it's making me want to play Skyrim again. I've been thinking a lot about the Thieves guild playthrough I talked about months ago these last few days, which didn't advance outside creating a character. I ended playing a good 40 hours of Odyssey instead, then moving to other stuff. But if I want that Assassin feels maybe I should go Dark Brotherhood instead. I'm also totally obsessed with Einar Selvik - Hrafnsmál - The Words of the Raven song. I've been listening to it basically on repeat since yesterday, which means I'm going to be totally tired of it once the game release. But it's so good.

BoughtbyBlood316 @boughtbyblood7Your awesome! Ok I may only get one shot at this so I'm gonna try and make it count haha 1. Can the hidden blade be used IN COMBAT as a primary left hand weapon? 2.We saw an X-ray assassination in the gameplay overview, was that only a cinematic for the trailer or was it gameplay Benoit Richer @benoitricher1. We're looking forward to reveal more soon 2. It happens during gameplay / player triggered Russell Irving @rgintegerCan it be permanently switched off within the menus? Sorry to be a bit negative, I'm sure a large part of the fanbase will love this, but having the option to just disable these completely would be appreciated. Benoit Richer @benoitricherDon’t worry it’s only under a certain context that I won’t explain not to spoil anything For some reason I find it funny that something that is triggered by players (also known as optional) is triggering so many players.

Yey having to put up with another game with nonsense arguments about lack of proper facial animations...oh joys.

I'm not worried about it. There were complaints about Odyssey lip syncing and animations before it released too and it was fine. I'm sure Valhalla will be okay as well. I finally got to pre-order it tonight. I just went with Gold Digital version. I'm not that interested in the gear skin. I'm sure I can buy it from the shop if I decide I like it well enough. The Eivors Fate trailer was really good. I watched it like 10 times so far

"Our trinity serves the Lady Nocturnal, the Empress of Murk and the Daughter of Twilight. We believe her to be our patron, if not the patron of all thieves worldwide. We serve her without prayer, without charity and without celebration." ―Gallus Desidenius[src] Yeah the Fates trailer I thought was great and it made me think of playing Skyrim again but....... I love the idea of building a home for Eivor and his clan, building the community in AC3 was great and Black Flag's was OK but it wasn't built with the same intent.

On a completely different note I hope they have more Fast Travel points and they are better spaces this time. Going by the little bit of the map we have seen, there are less of them. But we can call our longship near any river and use the auto-travel feature on it as well as the horse. So I guess you'll be able to read a book or watch something on another screen while Eivor travel around.

Never used the auto travel on the horse in Odyssey, where's the fun in not running into trees or not having your horse plunge over a cliff?????

Never used the auto travel on the horse in Odyssey, where's the fun in not running into trees or not having your horse plunge over a cliff????? I dunno, there's something to be said for the purity of malice the mount has on autopilot. It makes the most concerted effort to run over every pedestrian along the way.

I never follow roads while on horseback in Odyssey, which means I just learned there was an auto travel feature. Valhalla will be quite flat, not too many heights in the area covered by the in-game map...outside maybe around where Dover is and if we go far enough into Northumbria.

Yeah I try to avoid hitting anything but sometimes chasing a mercenary I'll take a short cut cross country and be like "crash" hit a tree or "Whoops" where'd that cliff come from!!!!! Yeah Myrinne seems to have a real talent for running into people and attracting wolves when she's riding.

In this one, they talk about (but cannot show) the Animus Anomalies at length, including a few spoilery bits. There is a rough diagram of the puzzle though.
But in this one we also have some underwater exploration footage, which is similar to Odyssey.

There’s apparently even a quest you do that in where Eivor is playing hide and seek with some kids. That is good news for me. I didn't mind Odyssey as much as some people, but the things like social stealth, being able to sit on a bench and assassinate a target and switch places, or hiding in piles of hay were things that I missed and looked forward to doing in Assassin's Creed games for that was something unique in them.

Do NOT read that if you don't want spoilers Layla does have a pattern of getting her female partners killed. First Deanna, then Victoria. I’m still surprised/disappointed that she still seems to be working with the Assassins as an ally instead of being punished in any way.
