Is there something very specific you need to do after going to England before you can construct the tattoo shop? Or is it just keep advancing the main story? I constructed the blacksmith and the Hidden Ones' bureau, but the tattoo shop is still not an option. I got stuck with tattoos and hair I'd rather not be using for seemingly forever ago when I left Norway Or are there other places to get a haircut and tattoos done other than your own settlement? In one of the bigger cities that I haven't gotten to at all yet? As you build things in the settlement other things become available as that levels the the settlement up. They all require resources so you'll need to do some raiding. I think there are other places but I haven't found them yet.

Damn so will have to do the Flyting. Not required to advance the story, it just offer alternate options in some quests/mysteries. Like one I just did, I could pick the charisma option instead of searching for a password to get access to something. The password wasn't hard to find. There is also a place where you can reduce the cost of gaining some information, but you can find said information another way (and get your money back two different ways too). For your Randvi question There will be romance spoilers here I'm reading there is a bug when you tell her "now is not the time" after she tells you she loves you. A dialogue options disappear after you reload a save. The other two other options are to start the romance or "just friend" path.
I've been trying to find out when Sigurd break the marriage and if you can push back doing the quest that can start the romance to then, but I haven't found the information anywhere. If it's super late in the game, maybe cheating is the best option. There is apparently dialogue reflecting Randvi/you wondering who knows at Ravensthorpe...ahahah
dazk, fox friend comes from a mystery in Oxenefordscire. You can look up YT vids for the flyting answers and make the biggest bet to earn 200 coins. I chose friendship with Randvi. When I got back to the settlement, there's a romance option with her so I guess this can be picked once Sigurd breaks off with her. He's nuts. She's a lovely and nice woman. I've to admit I thought Eivor and Sigurd make a good couple; seeing their interactions, but that is made impossible when his father adopted her.

There's a world event to save someone's pet "dog" from a burning house. After the event, Eivor asks the "dog" if it wants to come home with you.

Finishing one zone story arc the Grantebridgescire arc in England will grant you enough rad material to reach it and build the shop unless you focus on something else. The other choice is raiding.

Wanted to help some quarreling farmers out by getting rid of the silo they were arguing over. ...Well, that escalated a little. Got a pretty badass character shot of Eivor out of it though:

I've been assassinating Ancients in London today. I took these two screenshots from as close to the same point on the Thames as I could figure out. A foggy day on the Thames, 873 AD vs. a smoggy day on the Thames, 1868 AD.

So I was right, if the objectives for Chipping Away does not appear, do the other part of the quest first. I finished the Oxeen region line and now at an interval. I've to wait for Bassim's report. In the mean time, no major story quest is available.
I've the side 10 contracts, building up the settlement, etc. And the Asgard quest of which I'm not very keen. *sigh* Not keen because I know the stupid guy who came through is going to betray Odin and some dumb stuff will happen.
I got Eivor's Raven gear kicked up to silver. Everything. She's at 130 plus now.
On the Eivor and Sigurd. Not sure where he is going now. He's got the god complex courtesy of Bassim; what's your game Bassim? gah. Met one of the Ancient ones member. ugh. I predict I'm going to have a lot of trouble with that one.

I finished Ledecestrescire and now I totally agree Dag is annoying. Reached Asgard and having two voice-actors that were in Skyrim talking to each others in a cutscenes was mighty weird. As was flyting with Thor or against Thor I should say. Too many "collectibles" too.

I got the pet fox yesterday and have been back to Ravensthorpe twice since then. I don't see the fox anywhere Anyone know where he hangs out? I ran into him when I headed north on a (very weird) trip with Petra. He had a little fox buddy with him, too. Ravensthorpe is accumulating a significant animal population. I approve. My Eivor is pursuing Petra. They've had one official date, so far. She's bronze, brunette and she's not married to Eivor's brother. Those are three things in her favor. I do think Randvi seems really cool, from the few interactions we've had. She's smart and strong. Those eyebrows freak me out, though, and she's married to his brother. Nope. For all my early bitching and moaning, I'm really enjoying the game. No, the gameplay is not as smooth as Origins or Odyssey, but it has a lot more depth than any prior AC game. I know I'm still early in the game (despite being power level 130+), but it seems to avoid the repetitive loops upon which Ubi has always built their games. That alone is great. I earned 300 Ubi points earlier in the week. I had 50 sitting in my account from times past. 350 happened to be exactly the cost of a weapon from the Store. I know I'll eventually just end up using the Isu weapons of legend, but F It. I nabbed the "Scimitar", which is definitely not a scimitar. It's pretty and effective. I've been running with gear at 2 to 4 levels (?), and I decided to improve my go-to items. I upgraded my favorite chest piece, the Galloglach Armor. It actually looks like armor. (It's centuries out of place, but is legitimately armor.) I also upgraded my currently preferred Hunter's Bow and the Scimitar. Wow. What a difference that made. My first combat was with some level 160s while working a bounty for Reda. That upgraded sword dismembered them so quickly. Story wise, I'm currently hanging with Ivar. I still have story and some places in Ledecesterscire to mop up, and Lincolnscire is calling. (I suspect I might finally find some more Galloglach pieces there.) I was getting used to the better loot I'd been collecting in high-level roaming. I'm sure Ledecester and Lincoln loot will be comparatively disappointing, items aside. 😉 Other fun stuff happened. I've killed a couple of Zealots, now. I have also killed two Order members purely by happenstance. I stumbled upon one guy while killing bandits. Another was wandering somewhere he clearly didn't belong. I enjoyed (and won) a drinking contest from cups rather than horns. Not all of England's competitive alcoholics are Danes, it seems. I really enjoy all of the mini-games. I've yet to lose at any of them, though both Orlog and drinking can be really close. Flyting is just hilarious to me, and unlocks those fun Charm perks. My wife gets a kick out of flyting, too, usually pausing to observe Eivor's "rap battles". Alright, I need to sleep. 40+ hours in, and there's a ton of game left. My first playthrough is always pretty meandering and inefficient. I wonder how long this PT will end up being?

It's from a Mystery, but can't recall where. I think maybe Sciropescire or Oxeneforscire (I don't know if that's the spelling!). I also have a ship cat (kinda early zone Mystery) and a white wolf (settlement quest) named Chewbacca - Chewie for short 😜 The fox hangs mostly around the longhouse or at least that's where Eivor greets it from time to time.

And then a new map opens up, but you have to go back to England before that.

I wandered around a bit trying to level up more because all the next sections of England's map were showing up red for Eivor when I left. Gathered lots of rocks. Found some more enemies guarding some ruins in the snow. Still prefer the real world section of the story. Right now I'm sort of assuming that Basim is using Sigurd and his arrogant self-obsession to locate pieces of Eden. So quick post, did heaps today especially lots of raiding which allowed me to upgrade lots of the Settlement including a brewery and bakery and had my first feast which was fun. Point of the post is all you people I am friends with on Uplay, if you are on consoles can I still recruit you Viking creation to go on raids and is ther a way to look for friends creations to recruit. I have 4 people I don't know and would rather be giving friends on Uplay the silver than people I don't know. Also how can i tell who used my Viking to generate Silver?

What's wrong with Loki having a son? Is the implication his partner wasn't human which is why Havi was furious?
