Source? I've never seen any kind of info for a new Andromeda, even less about a new character.

They have an "insider". 

I think there is a far better chance of a retooling of Andromeda to fit the framework of the first three games over them resurrecting Shepard and making him into Space Jesus: Reloaded Part 2: The Cerberus Files.

I can't comment on the first two since I never saw those, but you didn't give us the "this place is monitored". We've known that for years since some devs have posted here since its creation plus all the times their tweets referenced conversations happening in here. 

But tell me, what else has your "insider" source mentioned? Like if not Ryder, who will be the PC?

I wouldn't call it nothing. These are testable predictions, both here and in previous threads. Even if the game is cancelled before any official announcement, sooner or later there will be word about it if it ever existed.

Note that when someone crunched our own polling data, an MEA sequel without Ryder looked like the satisficing option, although MEA2 with Ryder was the plurality favorite. This would be the first time I'm aware of that BSN polling data has matched market research on players as a whole, but that isn't conceptually impossible. And of course, going back to the MW has the same problems it always had and prequels are no less unpopular than they ever were, so this strikes me as being the most likely form for further ME to take.

Edit: of course, this being the high-probability guess also means that if someone really was b.s.ing about having an inside source, this would be the path to take.
