So ironically enough I just got through my first PT of the LE as well and while I am still going to do another run through ME 3 starting tonight still I have thoughts on it. First up for ME 3. On the face of it without making large sweeping changes ME 3 comes off as probably the most bi polar experience of the LE. On the one hand it actually seems to have gotten a huge visual upgrade in some places at least. Much like with ME 1...ME 2 was hardly touched at all but there was a lot of scenes where new stuff seemed to stick out more. The initial escape from Vancouver, the Krogan genophage cure scene having a lot more particle effects in the air (achu!) and the charge to the beam all look very, very gorgeous. As does the hair in general and yeah a few other things. But on the flip side they couldn've reallly used another facial animation pass because, I did not realize this problem was as prevelaent in the original game as it was, thought it was just my Shepard and not even that bad...but talks with Eezo apparently this is fairly universal for custom Fem Shepards. The squinty fricking eyes, so much. Wasn't as bad in parts, was especially bad in Omega...but there we have it. Still despite probably fairing the worse of the remasters for this reason I still had a blast and put something like near on 45 hours into it. As for the LE as a whole worth every single penny I have paid for it and then some. From a pure technical standpoint I put into...lets make sure I am doing the right math here... 115 hours into it in the end and given I am probably going to put in another 40 right now, worth every penny. And, to be frank, I knew what I was getting with this. This was going to be a remaster, not a remake. Sure they could've still improved this or that, tightened down that bolt, improve that bit of combat even more, re edited things to be more lore friendly in various ways...but this was a remaster so there was only so much they could do, this was not a remake...or a reboot. So in that case I got exactly what I was expecting. And, as I mentioned before, the games on current generation consoles as is would've probably been just enough...and then with the backwards compatability up through the PS5 era as well... and just having the ability to take pictures and stuff, is a real treat. And boy has this been fun revisiting and should be fun revisiting in the future. As far as the bugs are concerned my own experiences with them...well the LE is the most stable game I have played for awhile now. Two crashes in 1 and the rest have been fairly minor, the usual audio bug from 2, a Turian got stuck in the wall in purgatory, and some lost dialogue in 3. But yes, as a whole I couldn't be happier with this product. Gonna be so hard putting it down. TBH I've always found it hard t oput ME down for long. Quite often I d oa playthrough or 2 of it then need a break but within a couple of months I'm always getting an itch to do another playthroughI tseems thappen wi thME moer than Dragon Age though. I still get urges to pla yDA but they don't com earound as often or as strong. It's probabl ybecause I'm moer into ME htan DA but Bioware have certainly done a great job with both series.

Gonna use more mods this time on both too... mostly visual ones for new outfit etc. Also I think I'll try KrrKs 's Groundside Firepower, basically having MP guns and powers.

Sorry if people here misunderstood... I'm done with MELE, not necessarily MET. .. that is, I'm going back to playing the old games rather than this remaster. I'm not happy with the bugs in this remaster, particular with the bugs in the enemy spawns and I'm not happy with the way they handled the DLC weapons and armors. I've played the old games more than 30 times each and I still enjoy them. Because of the bugs, these few runs through MELE have been less enjoyable. I wanted to get all the achievements, but now an apparent bug is going to prevent me from doing even that.
Part of the issue, I believe, is that I had Insanity I and II unlocked because I played ME1 twice through on Insanity before they patched achievements on the Xbox One. Those 2 achievements greyed out after their first patch (which was the one on all platforms), along with some other achievements like Neural Shock. I was part way through this run of ME3 on Insanity when they patched the Xbox achievements. My Inanity I and Insanity II achievements instantly re-appeared as unlocked, but now... even though I've completed that ME3 insanity run yesterday... Insanity III did not unlock. I could go back and complete a run on Insanity I have in progress in ME2 to see if it will trigger the achievement, but I'm not optimistic since completing ME3 the first time on insanity should have unlocked Insanity III regardless (since Insanity II is already unlocked).... so, right now at least, I'm inclined to just not bother.. My circumstance with these achievement bugs is probably unique and I don't really expect that Bioware will fix it... so I'll sit with just that one achievement missing.
The remasterr could have been done better, IMO... but it is what it is... and for me, it just make more sense to play the old games instead.

Yep, like a small thing but large for me; why does ME1LE have what I seem to remember, ME3Original vignette used? Then why does ME2LE and 3LE have MEOriginal vignette... I also liked the previous motionblur, as cheap it was, much better - but the combat in ME1LE is now so much better than in Original, this is the reason I'm thinking of ME1LE + mods on PC next year. Also maybe some texture mods too, because a lot of the lightmaps were still super blocky on the walls of LE. They were fixed in MEUITM etc.

I'm gone for a few days and I see this place really went places... I'm nearing the end of ME3, which makes me sad - I've enjoyed every bit of MELE so far and I don't want it to end! Planning on posting a review of sort later at some point. Now if someone could make a mod so I didn't have to wear that awful dress in the Citadel dlc...

I don't pla yto unlock all the achievements anyway so that part doesn't bother me as I know I won' t even las t5 seconds on Insanity let alone beat any of the games on tha difficulty as I stil l die about 2 or 3 times a plasythrough even on casual. In fact I think I died 3 times on my last run of ME1 one was because I wasn't paying attention to m yhealth ba rwhen taking out the turrets outsied the torches on the Bring Down the Sky level and one was when I just somehow go tcaught out by one of the thresher maws. Can't remember which one it was now but I think i twas the one during the Geth ques tin the Armstrong cluster. I often die a lot on ME2 especially on the harder quests like Garrus's recruitment mission. As for the DLC weapons I don't min dthem bein glocked as generally I tend to only use the ones that my Shep is specced for so only getting to use the ones I plan t ouse isn't really a problem for me. If I wantto play with any of the others then I'm happy to use the Armax arena to do it.

Lowering the brightness and contrast makes the game, overall, too dark to see properly... so I can relate, I think. It's not really a small thing.

What’s wrong with you, since clearly your character is against free speech and freedom of the press. Really you make the argument of free speech?!?
The press even gargabe ones have the responsibility not publish whatever they like. In Germany we have a press codex for that by the way. So yeah Shepard was absolute right to censor Allers. Also that all the countries are doing in wartimes. Its also kinda dump to say to public lets Terra Nova die. Even if it is strategically correct at the end. Everybody in series wants Shepard or Ryder to do something. Also compare her behavior with that from Khalisah. Emily is just a nice person nothing more nothing less.
And don´t forget she only show up in ME 1. ME 2 doesn´t really count because Shepard don´t have the option to interact with her. I don´t care because my Shepards won´t let Terra Nova (ME 1 DLC) die.
Vietnam showed war propaganda only worked as long as people are operating in complete vacuums of information. The increase interconnection of society as technology developed kind of undermined propaganda's ability to work. And in a future age were everyone has a computer strapped to their wrist the information will spread far and wide and fast. When entire planets go silent and refugees from one planet will arrive at a dozen others that information will spread far to fast to allow propaganda to be as useful as it was in the 1940's.
What specific press codex would Aller be violating by releasing an opinion piece about abandoning a colony to save a dozen more?
Balak trying to drop an asteroid on Terra Nova isn't the same as a galaxy wide invasion of space cuddlefish that out class and out gun you at every turn.

No idea whether this is a new bug... or finally the correction of an old one. This will be my third playthrough of ME2LE (after more than 30 playthroughs of the old ME2)... and this is the first time ever I have had more Vorcha spawn AFTER talking with the Looters in the apartment during Mordin's recruitment mission. I kind of like it, even though it caught me completely off guard this time... at least it goes better with the one looter telling Shepard to take lots of ammo when heading to the clinic.

I played the MET on Xbox360. Having the LE avaliable for PS4 is great, as my TV is not a great match for the older console.
If I played on PC, however, I don't know if I'd buy LE. The changes to gunplay and skill rebalancing definitely improve ME1. ME2&3, though, now feature many bugs that were never part of the original experience.
The LE is great for people like me; but I'm less sure for PC players.

I tdepends really on how good you aer a t modding too though because if you aer then perhaps getting the LE isn't really worth it. Personally I've had mixed success with mods fo rexample I can mod the 3 DA games and to som eextent I've managed to mod MEA as wel lthough in MEA's case I don't usually bother as ther's not really any mods I personally like. Hoewve rwhen it's come t oattempting to mod the ME trilogy despoite hours of trying I had virtually n oluck whatsoever trying t oge tmods working. I tgo ts ofrustrating tha tin theend I jus tgave up as I generally enjoy the gam ein irt's basic form anywa yto the point where I don' treally care if it's modded or not. Besides when it comes t ochanging and modding a game I find that the LE pretty much has all the changes I want. So reall ywhat they've done with the LE for me is perfect as well.

I have experienced few bugs in my 1 and half PT's of MELE on PC and they were fairly minor like getting stuck on something, getting trapped in a piece of cover and Shep teleporting 10 metres or so. Not sure if it is a bug or me just not remembering the missions properly but I also seem to have random missions where the difficulty seems to spike to Insanity. Garrus's LM yesterday which I have already done once before in MELE yesterday was 50% more difficult than the first time. The Loki Mech's were taking an insane amount of damage and there seemed to be a lot more enemies that the first time. The Blue Sun Engineers (I think they are) were downing my shields with one hit making using Hardened AR difficult to use as by the end of it I was down to very low health.

I played the MET on Xbox360. Having the LE avaliable for PS4 is great, as my TV is not a great match for the older console. If I played on PC, however, I don't know if I'd by LE. I have found the modding in MELE too difficult for my poor old brain, I managed to get a couple to work for MELE 3 but then a new Mod Manager came out and I gave up.

In ME1 my game always lags when entering the final location at the Exo-Geni factory on Feros. Also in ME1 sometimes companions won't follow me I have to save and reload. In ME2 there has been one. In some instances Shepard runs backwards when trying to move forward. I have to save and reload. There was one or two for ME3 but I don't remember them now. But when I replay it I will document it.

I tried using a Liara texture replacer that keeps her looking consistent throughout all three games for my second playthrough, and in the first game it caused lag whenever on the Normandy or near Liara, and in ME2 it caused lag on Illium and two CTD's whenever Liara was around. I removed the textures by verifying the files through Steam.

I get the directional bug constantly in ME1, and only ME1. Shep gets locked in, pointing in a particular direction. Moving becomes a chore. Often, if I manage to hold out for 30 seconds or so, Shep autocorrects. It's a PitA when it happens in combat. I get all sorts of bugs in ME2&3. Today, I was getting the minor bug of preempted enemy waves. Once I hit Level 20, my Vanguard got Area Reave. This means those crowds of mercs who like to enter together through doors often get hammered: Garrus' Overload + Zaeed Inferno Grenade + Shep Area Reave. A few shots to clean up leftovers, and they're toast. When you kill the first wave this quickly, you sometimes don't get a second and third. Weird. I guess the rest get too scared to join the fight. The "injured, broken and moaning" bug hasn't been a big part of my Vanguard playthrough. I guess Charge + Inferno Ammo Eviscerator doesn't leave much meat on the bone. I have had a few, though. I've Charged a few enemies over railings and had them survive their landing several stories lower. They twitch, moan and die in short order. This is a bug, but it continues to mostly be entertaining and reasonably "realistic". It usually doesn't bother me. I've run into lots of animation hitches; invisible terrain features that push Shep out of cover; and enemies shooting me cleanly through multiple layers of cover in ME2. These accounted for 6 of my 8 deaths on Purgatory the other day. Buggy or not, I'm glad to be playing MET again.

"I work alone all the time... I have very little experience with your kind... I'm the one Asari you'll ever meet who has human eyebrow tattoos..." It's so obvious that the devs thought she needed to look more human to be an LI. Meanwhile, Shiala, Tevos, and many other Asari manage to look far more attractive without eyebrows. Let the aliens be aliens. At least eyebrows are better than PeeBee's racoon mask in MEA, I guess.

It can't be worst than a Bethesda game in it's unmodded state. In case you don't know Bethesda develops The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, and they are notoriously buggy and even broken on release day. It usually takes modders to release an unofficial patch to fix all the bugs and glitches leftover in the games. As for no more enemy waves after you decimate the first. Would you be eager to run out if Shepard, Garrus, and Zaeed were out there?

It just keeps her using the texture from the LOTSB dlc in all three games. But I had problems with it. It caused lag and ctd's. So I just accept her in her vanilla state.
