At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

If you haven't heard the VS Horizon letter then here is Ashley Williams (voiced not by fans but by here VA), it is a shame neither of them were in the Legendary Edition:

I'm trying something new for my Shep, well, a couple of things. In ME1, she starts a relationship with Liara, but in ME2 she'll pursue a permanent relationship with Garrus. Everyone's changed since ME1, and as it's true to real life, relationships don't always work out in the long run because. People tend to end up in a different state of mind compared to passed events, and they parts. Sometimes, if not a lot of times, they remain good friends. This is good on a storytelling perspective.
Secondly, I'm planning on switching my Shep's class in ME2. She's a Vanguard in ME1, and I plan to make her a Soldier in ME2, with a biotic bonus power. In my headcannon, I like to think that when Shepard died, her biotic implants were permanently damaged, and even though she's given new implants (again, biotic bonus power), her biotics have become more subdued compared to two years ago. She makes up for it with the bonus ability and Adrenaline Rush. She has biotics (one biotic power of my choosing), just no longer as much as ME1. It raises the stakes, and adds to the whole thing about Shepard's life taking a different turn after coming back to life in ME2.

Also on that line of thought, let me share what I did to mine recently: Changed some facial features when importing from ME1 to ME2 because of Lazarus Project shenanigans Changed hair from ME2 to ME3 due to time spent on house arrest. Colonist, but a War Hero. Paragon all the way, but extremely biased against Batarians, even making that bartender on Omega drink his own poison and making a false promise with those that kept Daniel hostage. He keeps more and more impatient as time goes by, so I sometimes snap with random NPCs, like poor Mouse, or the Council after doing Virmire and losing a squadmate.

Yeah I've played a couple of Shep's like that in the originals in that on occasion they just snap as the ycan't believe how blind the Council are being to these threats an dsuch.

So I just finished the Legendary Edition of the trilogy a couple of nights ago, and there are two bugs I noticed during the ending. The first one was during the Catalyst conversation: When it begins talking about the Control option, there is supposed to be a "vision" of the Illusive Man grabbing the rods. The Legendary Edition just skips that moment, despite the fact that the Anderson "vision" is still present for Destroy. The second bug was the breath scene: The music starts playing too late, which means the game cuts to the credits before the song is finished.
These are really bizarre and unacceptable bugs for this definitive version of the game. They disrupt very important moments of the ending sequence.
