Mass Effect Legendary Edition (General Discussion)

The current direction Bioware has taken their franchises, have nothing to offer. There's nothing to look forward to, out of them.

Well if that is what they cared about as well not even bothering announcing if they stopped supporting the Remaster with patches I will be very happy to not pay for anything else they put to sale. 
I sadly see the people who are interested in the next ME game be so juvenile looking forwards the next game not realizing Bioware is just gonna do away with most of their choices and favorite characters as if the players never did took them, remember: Emily Wong, Corporal Tombs, the choice of the Collectors Base, Scanning the Keepers, etc because Bioware didn't care enough.

I'm pretty sure it's dumped, by now. Maybe the entire studio was on summer vacation, so progress is low, but their contract probably expired and they are no longer obligated to support it further. The job is done, they got paid and the deal is over.


You can't expect Bioware to care for what they created. They stopped caring some time in 2010. It's not going to change.

Solas' plan is stupid and his logic is flawed, just like Bioware has been doing with every villain in every game they've released since 2011.  Things that can easily be debunked, are not and are treated as gospel, instead. Not to mention that DA4 is, basically, the same game as Inquisition. You're doing the exact same thing, with a reskinned villain. Granted, it's been 7 years already since you did it and there's something about not changing games too much, but if that were true, Bioware would be making Dragon Age: Origins 4. Instead, they're making a sequel to a game that will be 9 years old, that never charted and whose real ending was cut and sold as DLC, which nobody bought, because nobody cared, but  it's the best Dragon Age game, in terms of sales, ever! Was outsold by Anthem, on launch. I repeat: was outsold by Anthem. Which was considered a flop. Yet, Inquisition was such a huge success, it charted nowhere. Inquisition lost money. At this point, I consider Bioware to be EA's big money laundering scheme. Which is probably why they keep them around, no matter how bad things get.

I would, if I gave a shit about DA4.
This game is a waste of time. It has been for 7 years, now.

Only this time it is with the Andromeda galaxy.

-Control Andromeda
-Fuse the Milky Way with Andromeda
-Refuse Andromeda destroys the Milky Way.

I can understand people who played the OT on PC with mods wouldn't feel all that excited about the remaster, but for those of us who played it on PS3, with no backwards compatibility in the newer consoles, the LE was a godsend. I ended up playing on the PC, but even then I loved it because it gave me all three games and dlc with a reasonable price (in my opinion). So for the console generations and those who never got the chance to play it on PC I have no complaints despite no new content. I would have loved it for sure, but I understand the cost of doing so (especially when much of the work took place during the pandemic) wasn't really worth it for an endeavor they couldn't even be sure would be appreciated at all.

Just my two carrots.

The two companies they hired, yes the contract is ended but main Bioware social media sites have only been promoting items (clothing, dices, emblems and more) while the Mass Effect page has just been ignoring any plea of help drowned by a bunch of people going along with whatever the page posts.

You can be sure that, if Bioware does not have a positive PR answer, they will prefer to ignore their customers.

At least they stopped calling their customers entitled, stupid and manbabies. That's progress.
It'd work better to make a good product and have some proper support for it to begin with, but nah.
