It's the hypocrisy of it all that pisses me off.

Objectification of men is still fiiiine. I've just binged Lucifer, a show that is so popular because it features a ridiculously hot male lead who displays his (half) naked body on camera all the time, including naked butt shots. And women drool over him.

Imagine if the female lead got butt shots? Nope. The actress even has a no nudity clause in her contract. Fine by me. Her choice.

I male objectification is part of female empowerment or something, I guess... So then please also ban the female gaze or stop bullshitting.

Sexual freedom is one of the most precious things we have. The more repressive a society is, the less happy. Sexual violence RISES the less there is to see.

on that we can certainly agree. Well on the hypocricy angle if nothing else.

Just amazing to see like 15+ pages of people actually trying to defend these creep shots of her ass.
BTW the difference between Panam and Miri is that CDPR doesn't have multiple cut scenes during serious moments focused right on her ass. Not even close to the same thing.

That's Bioware's and EA's problem. Back in the day, they considered modding unfair competition and refused to make their games mod friendly. At any point in the, as of now, 11 years since ME2 released and nearly 9 since ME3, they could have released mod tools and provided mod support on consoles, like Bethesda. The mod community does the best it can.


Jack's visor? A lot of people dislike it. I think it is very much in line with Jack's character. I don't have to like it. But I like that she would like it.

no the breath masks that Miri and some of the other women wore in low atmo environments in lieu of full helmets.

Who said full suits/armor had to be generic or uninteresting? They can be just as unique or interesting as regular clothes. 

All from the same franchise. Any fan could tell you immediately who any of them are without ever seeing their faces. 

Or look at Star Wars, where any fan could tell every prominent clone apart despite them being the same person due to their armor each being personal and iconic. 

All up to the player, unlike ME2 where you are forced to see it.

I can hardly call it a choice. Giving me an option to switch something on and off is a real choice.

Oh, i'am really sorry. That's something new. 

True, but ME2, even in its censored state, if we want to call that what'll happen in the LE, it'd still be a much better game then Cyberpunk, with all its sexual freedom (which I'm not going to debate because I read differing opinion in relations of people with other preferences).

My point is, while we can argue about this, a game's overall quality is more often then not unrelated to those themes. It shouldn't be, in my opinion, such a big focus.
