I also wonder about the fate of Khalisah al-Jilani quest("I've had enough of your snide insinuations"). Going around punching female reporters for laughs seems like something that might not age well. It did not age well at all, after last 4 years of an Orange fash administration.
And she didn't even ask that tough nor provocative question, it's like Jesus! Are people really that easily angered? What am I saying, yes that is the case.
To be honest, Khalisah did strike me as some sort of reporter from the "orange" side of the media, or at least very tabloid. I mean, making her look dumb in front of the camera and all of her viewers always seemed far more appealing to me then ‘losing patience’ and punching her, so I never used that option. Other then the problems of that particular choice, it seemed to me that it made Shepard looks like an idiot incapable of countering her point. There are plenty of Renegade interrupts across ME2 that were far better and made more sense. I liked the way how Shepard can shut her down in dialogue in ME2. Though ME3 botched it for me as the blue choice was what I feel is buying to much into her human-centric attitude. Bah.

That’s...disappointing, actually? What, will we still see Shepard in a skirt spread eagle but just lower in the screen too? Also if it’s up only a few inches that’ll draw even more attention since now the dialogue wheel will be entirely on it. I figure they'll edit the shot and wheel in a different way. It's going to be hilarious, in a way, if they aimed to fix that camera shot and generate a bigger controversy, though. BioWare is renowned for over correcting without actually fixing the error to begin with

These same feminists who cry and blame white men the moment people criticize their criticism? 2014 called, it wants it's "feminist owned compilation" back. I wish it only happened at 2014. Unfortunately there are still folks who are still vicious as they were back then. Besides, i don’t watch feminist owned videos though I personally witnessed feminists online self owning themselves.

Well, good to know that the camera angle's only being changed to show basically all of her body as opposed to just her ass, officially confirming this matter to be the non-issue any sane person would already know it to be. I wonder if the BSN will remember this and take it to heart? Maybe it's because I mostly hang around Twitter and Discord, but the situation is very much reversed there. A lot of people dislike the Eden Prime redesign, and are generally able to articulate why. Nobody takes the Miranda stuff seriously. I don't care much if /v/ has a meltdown or if culture war crusaders like the Quartering get 100k views pumping out fake outrage about a game they had completed half a playthrough of back in 2012. Yeah, the Eden Prime skybox has so much more ground to stand on that I am honestly amused to see the legions of teh interwebz pounce on the butt shot debacle.

I don't think they'd do that. I think they know not to get people angrier. You're seeing how big things can get with Bioware. I know people liked Kelly. Even as she wasn't the most popular of LIs, she was well received. Why wouldn’t they? They already made a previous protagonist of mine call their love interest a monster (Hawke with Merrill). I doubt they’d care. If they cared about her fans she’d be on the ship, or at the very least in things like the Citadel DLC instead of literally the only LI absent (a blessing as well in retrospect but still). Still haven’t forgiven them for Horizon. and that’s considerably milder.

Yeah like others have said, I understand the Eden Prime concern, but being this angry about a butt-shot from one scene where apparently you will still be able to ogle it (if not as blatantly) is mind blowing to me.
I haven't decided how I feel about the Eden Prime one yet. I do tend to prefer when devs keep stuff in accordance with lore, but I admit the red sky did a lot to create that ominous ambiance.

A trite but accurate explanation is: Sex sells even if it's the most blatantly obvious fanservice shot people will talk about it for good or for ill.

I asked a technical question yesterday, but it got squashed by a big butt debacle. I believe this was your question (including context) I will wait for another 10 to 15 years, when we should easily mod old games, just to rewrite the trilogy almost entirely, specially ME3 That's not how the coding works. As someone hopelessly ignorant in coding, I would like to know why. I thought with enough techonology you could emulate an older game and change some parts of it. I am not that technical of a person -- and this is not my area of expertise -- but I will do my best to answer your question. Hopefully someone more qualified or knowledgeable can answer your question. Modding = adding, editing, or replacing files to change the game in some way. Examples: - changing or swapping character models - giving yourself infinite ammo or credits - fixing various issues that the developers have not fixed yet or will never fix in patches Emulating = simulating system hardware/firmware to play or do something that would not work on current hardware/firmware. For example, emulating Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) hardware to play old NES games. Or for another example, if you had an old PlayStation game disc, you could not play it on your PC by default, but you could if you had a PlayStation emulator that simulated a PlayStation system. When coding, you are typically using various coding software or coding engines (for example, Unreal 3 for games) that provides a framework for the game or application. You then would compile that code into a format useable by a system, such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Windows PC. Each system has its own requirements. You may need to compile it differently depending on the system, or have specific system branches in your code to support multiple systems. Coding for PlayStation may share some files with Xbox, but Xbox and PlayStation may require some different files or file formats to work on each system. Think operating system differences for Windows versus Linux or Mac, if you are familiar with those operating systems. I am not familiar with the Unreal engine, which was used for the Mass Effect games and now the remaster (Mass Effect Legendary Edition). If you have the source code, you may be able to import an Unreal 3 project into Unreal 4, but it may not work or work properly. If you have a PlayStation 5 version of the game, you may be able to emulate PlayStation 5 hardware/firmware on a PC now or 10-15 years from now. Certain downloadable versions of the game -- Steam or Origin versions for example -- may have specific checks or requirements that require you to start the game with the specific game launcher (the aforementioned Steam or Origin). That may be coded into the game or part of the store itself, I do not know. Anti-piracy software may also be included that can affect the game, including potential modding. I hope that helps. All errors and mistakes are mine. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I get that, but a RPG and Anthem are very different. We shall see when DA4 comes out if they can pull it off. As for face models and functionality, there is no difference what style the game will be. We shall see. I suspect time and budget number of interactions and cut scenes will alter end results in a fashion differently than what we saw in anthem.

No I really want to know how you can think something is "adult" simply because during a random conversation the camera angle switches focus from the two character's face to the woman's ass even though the conversation has 0 to do with her body and 0 sexual or flirty dialogue that would validate it. Because her looks are part of her persona. And it makes sense to showcase it, in any conversation. Miranda's looks, past and personality are all interwoven, through narrative, into one. It all works together, or it falls apart. Without the sexualized shots, the point of her being this super beautiful, super attractive, irresistible woman that all men would want, falls flat. And, in a sense, saying you've moved on from that depiction of her body, means you've moved on from Miranda, meaning you no longer, as a creator, approve of your own creation. Which also spits in the face of her fans. At least, that's how it comes across to me and others I talked to. Because Mac made a point exactly that he "evolved" past it. And maybe it is a single show and it doesn't matter much, but in Mac saying it, it behooves a response. Had Mac never said a word about it, as I said earlier, this would have been a comparison video in some nobody's channel, a few weeks or months after the LE release, that nobody would have given two shits about. If looks are part of her personality then what does her ass have to do with talking about her sister possibly being discovered by her dip shit father and forcibly taken back to become his little puppet?
Since when is Miranda irresistible? Also having a character's entire personality be based around her ass seems a wee bit insensitive to women. The idea is more based on the masturbation fantasies of men rather then women. Considering our first introduction to Miranda was her blowing away someone showing what a hard ass she was to suddenly being all about her ass and figure while literally talking about her sister being taken away. Which is a very important and personal event central to her character development is pretty fucked up.
That is literally the kind of stuff that Zapp Brannigan would write.
