Still watching DS9. Oh my fucking God, that season 5 finale! What a way to end the season. Wow. So glad I don't have to wait 6 months to a year to see what happens.

I didn't mind Cursed, wasn't great but it was enjoyable enough and the lead actress who plays Nimueh I thought was pretty good. No announcement of season 2 yet which is a bit worrying.

Nokdu Flower (finished) This period historical drama kept true to events of the Donghak Peasant Revolution (1894-1895). As I expected, there is no bed of roses ending. It concludes with the on-going struggle against the Japanese foothold on Joseon Korea. I read up on it and it doesn't make easy reading. But then, war records are never pleasant. Going to choose a more happy drama to watch next.

Yeah, even from the first time I watched...I enjoyed it, but I felt they could have done more with her character. Get more into the action, come into her powers...make things a little more exciting and give her opportunities to grow.

Still watching DS9. The fuck is Iggy Pop doing here? I mean, does it feel more out of place than The Rock wrestling Seven of Nine on Voyager? Yes. Yes, it does actually. Have we jumped the shark?

I just disliked when she let her hair down. It is clear that the more the light shines on her face, the better she looks. And of course hooking up with Chakotey made no sense.

I actually kinda liked when she let her hair down, because it was such a different look for her. Of course, her hair pinned back showed more of her gorgerous face, but I think she looked elegant either way. And the WWII holodeck episode where she was a nightclub singer.....That was actualyl her singing, it wasn't dubbed, it wasn't a voice-over. She actually did her own singing, which I thought was quite impressive.

I am not impressed she can sing, but I am impressed she can do it that well.

2 Episodes into Jupiter's Legacy and I'm finding it quite good. Sort of an amalgamation of Watchmen and The Boys.

Finished Made for Love a couple of nights ago. The back end of the series wasn’t as funny as the start and the end was...odd.
It made sense, or at least, the logic of everyone’s decisions worked, but it felt like a little bit of a letdown.
Still, well worth watching and Cristin Milioti is a gift to the world.

Have watched the first one but all the family wants to watch and getting everyone on the couch at the same time can be challenging. Will try and watch some more tonight, glad to hear it gets better as it progresses based on your comments if I am remembering correctly.

Took a break from DS9 to watch Jupiter ...'s Legacy? That's what it's called. So Episode 1, great, fantastic intro, really sets the tone, steaks and setting. Episodes 2-5 booooriiiing. Episode 6 does something? It's the one episode so far that anything happens, other than the first. So far, so meh. It's slow, it meanders too much on things that aren't important and focuses too much on things that aren't worth covering to build up people we don't really care to know, or have much significance to the story so far, but even if they are important down the line, we also know nothing about them and you've already wasted too much time on them, to make me want to invest more time on them later on. Really sloppy work. I get that this production is expensive and it requires a lot of padding to reach a 12 episode season's worth of content, but you could have done better.
Still, there is something to be intrigued by, which I am hoping is worth it, but the way I see it, it's going for a Watchmen like kind of twist. Not that I didn't like the watchmen, far from it, but this is really not coming up nearly close enough so far and it's going to have to work really hard to justify it. It's also not good enough, if this season ends in a cliffhanger, to warrant the wait to season 2, to see all that happen. It's not that good so far.

Finished season 1 of Jupiter's Legacy. Turns out it's just 8 episodes, of which the show spends 4 doing absolutely nothing. The twist is ... Watchmen. Kinda. You understand that it's coming, you see it coming and it's poor. So if the show is going to go somewhere with season 2, that's great, I wouldn't watch the show now, though, had I known what happens beforehand. If season 2 uses its whole breadth of ... 8 episodes to take advantage of its narrative, then good, you'd have a whole 12 episodes of OK to GOOD content. But for now, only 4 episodes of "something", it's not worth picking it up yet.
So I went back to DS9. Second half of season 6 has some great episodes. Fucking Odo made me shed a tear. You know when.

Finished Chief of Staff. A story focused on the ministers and their staff. A lot of political maneuverings, back stabbings, etc. It's pretty good. One of the secondary actress has an unusual name, Lee Elijah. If I'm not wrong (or so I read), it's likely her real name (her parents gave her that name). Finished Angel's Last Mission (2019). The main lead is the actress in Mr Queen (2021). She's pretty good (versatile) in these two dramas. I've to say though, she's the tallest of all the South Korean actresses I've seen so far; she's nearly six feet tall so she tend to stick out in a bevy of ladies and on par with the main actors who're mostly six feet and over. On to Master's Sun, a ghost story. I'm liking the ghost stories in the few dramas that popped up.

Been catching up with a whole bunch of childhood shows over the past three months. Shows marked with an * are those that I'm currently watching. - Classic Simpsons (finished S7)
- Futurama S1
- South Park S1
- The X-Files (finished S7 and not going to continue with this drivel anymore)
- Supernatural S1
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer S7*
- Angel S4*
- The Powerpuff Girls S1
- Teen Titans S1
- As Told by Ginger S1
- Codename: Kids Next Door S1
- Courage the Cowardly Dog S1
- Robot Chicken S1
- Celebrity Deathmatch S1
- Batman: The Animated Series S1
- Samurai Jack S1
- Aeon Flux (finished all seasons recently)
- Rick & Morty S1
- Beavis and Butthead S1*
- Ren & Stimpy S1*
- Pinky and the Brain S1*
- Hey Arnold! S1*
- Archer S1*
Basically, I'm watching whatever shows that were iconic enough but I never got the chance to visit (or shows that were so old I was too young to remember). After finishing off the first season for the current rotation of shows, I'm heading forward to season two again for all the shows.

Started "THE EXPANSE" Season 1 on Prime tonight....It's a little weider and more confusing than I thought. A bit hard to follow at first, I guess because I'm not familiar with it like I was BSG. That too was a little weird...good weird, like SCI-FI weird....and I enjoyed BSG right up to the half way point of Season 3. Never did finish it, not sure i plan to. But Seasons 1 and 2 I thoroughly enjoyed. I was hoping for something along those lines.
I'll keep plugging away, try to get into it a bit more. But as I don't really understand it, I find I am easily distracted then not paying attention to what else is going on. But...I'll keep trying. Gonna watching Ep 2 and maybe 3 tonight.
Trouble is I like a lot of the actors/actresses in it. Admiral Shala'ran Vas'Tombay (Shoreh Agdashloo) is in it, which immediately caught my attention in the trailer and Thomas Jane, (Mickey Mantle from *61 and The Punisher) is also in it.
