ME2-3 did the same they just consolidated it into 4 or 6 points. The only area me2-3 lost in that system was persuasion/intimidate as that became a metastat as opposed to a normal one. Yeah I honestly didn’t care for that change, although I was never a fan of the renegade/paragon system itself. Frankly, I would love if BioWare kind of went back to creating a little variety in the “personality” stats of our character, allowing us to unlock more dialogue as we progress. Maybe take some examples out of the Dragon Age book. I suppose it ain’t gonna happen, but a guy can dream I guess. I always preferred the mass effect style, well at least until MEA. Dragon age seemed to give me 4 different flavors of lame, mass effect two different flavors of awesome. I'll take less that is awesome over more that is lame.

The best dialogue system, at least for me, is the one from DA2. Playing as a sarcastic Hawke was great.

The best dialogue system, at least for me, is the one from DA2. Playing as a sarcastic Hawke was great. I preferred DAI. It actually felt like I had some role-playing variety. DA2 was good, but too often I felt locked into a particular personality type. MEA just felt like four different ways of saying pretty much the same ting.

Strange. I saw Michael gamble tweet, or replying to someone saying something like "maybe turn that relay button on" but he deleted it after a few minutes...

A bit late, but I created my video on it: It's interesting when you said at the beginning that when we hear the first dialogue someone was watching them. But it seems like all of this we hear goes in chronological order, basically recap the history of mass effect and what we already know. The first one could be when the reapers were watching the mw. The blue thing when we go through the mw, looks like a widow nebula www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/styles/full_width_feature/public/images/161746main_image_feature_687_ys_full.jpgThe thing liara walks is a reaper, aside from the one we see on the background. The middle figure is ryder (glass helmet, collar). Gamble hinted we might know who is it if we can find it out. The salarian is kallo and probably drack. m.imgur.com/ob2LS0SAs for the concept arts, the first one with the big structure seems like jardaan and prothean technology. Probably after they left Andromeda, they traveled to mw thousands of years ago and met the protheans. Gamble hinted it might be both. The other one with the relay could be from the mw. The misty one looks like they explore something. One of the figures looked geth, but don't know if it's just a placeholder thing, we'll see. The one with the Mudskipper, has two figures from the ot (thane, mordin) but i think they're just placeholders. The one's at the right though, it looks like an angara, some say the legs are straight though but it's a rough artwork, the other looks human.
