Having been a CDPR fan since the first Witcher came out back in the day this is hard to watch. However they have nobody to blame but themselves for putting out the game in the state that it's in and lying about it. Hopefully they can get it all patched up and playable but it's gonna be hard to recover their reputation after this.

I think postponement would be preferable, considering that not everyone is experiencing an unplayable game, but could use with more stability in subsequent updates. Frankly, I’d rather stick it out on my PS4 Pro, because I can’t afford a PC, and there’s zero hope of acquiring a PS5 during the worst time of the year.

The problem I have is that 3 of the 5 last gen consoles cannot play this game in anything resembling an adequate state. Sure the Jan/Feb patches and updates are coming, but after that I don't really see the point in continuing to support last gen.

I was looking into upgrading my Pro’s drive for its one final hurrah before I move on, but I guess those plans are cancelled. Edit: I still see it on my purchased list. Is this because you deleted it already?

I've had 5 crashes the previous day.

Nope, my copy of the product is amazing, pc no issues at all running and looking amazing. And I think a lot of the outrage is undeserved. But people can have their own opinions  They got death threats for delaying yet again. I reckon they knew, but couldn't keep going like that. Sony should have jsut done refunds from the start, for those who did not get a satisfactory copy like I did. But they hate doing that. (obviously the console release for ps4/xbone has been disastrous, but they did release a decent game for big percentage of players. Gotta stop rolling it to "this console is bad, therefore the entire launch was a disaster" it wasn't. Now fixing the console versions must be their priority..)
