Cyberpunk 2077 Pulled From The PS Store / Sony, MS & CDPR Expand Refund Policy

I love 2020. It just can't stop giving.

Sony can't do refunds without delisting, that's how their store works. 

People are trying to make this look "game so bad Sony had to delist it", but in reality it's "Sony is so against refunds that their store doesn't even support it".

No.

If they were compliant with consumer laws a little everywhere on the planet, they wouldn't have to delist the game to offer refunds. The amount of people making request shouldn't matter, it's something that should always be supported. And now it seems delisting is causing problems for people who don't want it refunded.

I would agree, but they definitely would have needed to have that be the marketing theme once gameplay was revealed in 2018. That could have afforded them maybe one additional year towards development and optimization. Still would have sucked for current gen players, as the game likely should have been optimized first for current gen platforms (plus PC). Its not like next gen upgrades couldn't have been rolled out after the fact.

Extremely challenging circumstances could refer to a lot of things. BEsides it is not like they would rip CDPR a new asshole in a statement about refunds.

I haven't seen anything like this since Arkham Knight. I actually got a refund for that game, and it was pulled from Steam. I feel sorry for the developers because people will blame them when clearly an executive said this game is going out by this date no matter what. Make it happen.
