If you could only pick one weapon...

I never got into the MP but with the Cryo ammo it was pretty good. Then again that was my play through on normal so I couldn’t say how it fairs on Insanity.

to update this since I'm nearing the end of ME2 and pretty sure I have all the weapons.

for ME2, I'm torn between 3 lmfao

- The Tempest SMG: Because it shreds shields/geth/health upclose and has a shit ton of ammo. However it's ass at medium to long range
- The Locust SMG: It has range and also eats thru shields and synthetics, however it's low on ammo
- The Mattock AR: Best assault rifle by far, has the range, can delete basically any defense, but also has very little ammo.

I guess I would choose the Mattock of the three.

But this was also playing as a Sentinel and not having access to shotguns or snipers, so only pistols, ARs, and SMGs were considered. 

M-77 Paladin


Probably there are better guns for any specific class or play style, but I don't know what class or play style I am using. The M-77 Paladin is fairly flexable, light but powerful.

On I rethink maybe the M-13 Rpator. The Raptor is the gun I use most with gun users. For power users where the Raptor might be too heavy, the can just skip using a gun altogether - or use my first answer.

I like the Mattock ... fully upgraded.

Frak! I forgot to buy the phalanx and test it. Oh well, maybe my nerves were not tested then so much

N7 Valkyrie is ok weapon. Its even gold and platinum viable in MEAMP, especially with turbocharge.
