Honestly Origin is the least annoying client for me. Upay being the worst. But of course EA couldn't leave it be and now is developing "EA Desktop" which not only sounds worse but cannot even install properly on my PC.
Hadn't heard of this new program. Looks like they've rebranded again. Went from EA Download Manager to Origin now to EA Desktop.
Thought I'd test it out and I also can't even install it. This had better be fixed before they retire Origin.
Here's the error I'm getting. Do you know if you were getting the same one?
32/64 bit Windows 10 difference might be a problem?

32/64 bit Windows 10 difference might be a problem?
After some looking around I think this may be the problem. I have still run 64 bit Windows 7. Apparently the .dll I'm missing was added in Windows 8 from what I've gathered. The requirements on EA's website for the program only list "Microsoft Windows" as the only requirement. Hope they fix this.
