Firstly, we know the renegade/paragon system is being 'fixed' so that you don't need to follow one or the other so slavishly. How Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Fixes The Renegade & Paragon Systemscreenrant.com/mass-effect-renegade-paragon-morality-system-le-changes/So this time I'll be trying to do my dream playthrough which is paragon with the vulnerable, but renegade with the scum and villainy (it remains to be seen if it works). So bring on a bit more renegade. What about you?

I was just thinking about this and building my background/head canon for my LE run. I am pretty much set on the idea of Colonist Sheploo, but I am still torn between War Hero or Ruthless. I do plan on going a bit more renegade, the only reason I tended to stick to Paragon was to get the points needed to charm Saren.
Edit: After reading the article it sounds like only ME2 was touched in terms of the Paragon/Renegade system. Ah well looks like another 90% paragon run for ME1.

I have three different Shepards guaranteed -- Soldier, Engineer, and Adept to unlock all the bonus powers in ME1.
I somehow have never done a Renegade Adept before, so there is one playthrough planned.
Another one will be a full/mostly Paragon.
The third (my first?) playthrough may be a mix of Paragon and Renegade, so it works out like the playthrough I just finished in ME2, then there is no chance everyone will end up loyal by the end.

My main shep always tended to be paragade, a hopeful pragmatist. Importing high level characters into me2 tended to mean I wasn’t really stopped from making mixed characters I wanted by the system.

For a little fun I'm running ME1 a short way full renegade. To be honest I'm finding it tough going (and I'm finding renegade Shepard a bit of an insensitive ass).

My very first run through ME2, back in 2010, was exactly this - ofc I hadn't read any guides or forum posts before playing so it but as a result I was unable to resolve the disputes between Miranda and Jack, Tali and Legion and couldn't avoid the resulting problems in the suicide mission.
Will be great to not be railroaded into decisions/reactions to achieve certain major outcomes.

I really didn't care about this too much and just played how I wanted to and I *usually* didn't have a problem. Especially because it just seemed like I could max things out anyways, the only issues I tended to have was with passing the speech check when Morinth is being all mind rapey and then laast time I played ME 2 on my wife's system for some reason I just couldn't get the bars as high as I normally would.

I'm going to do a war hero "gone bad." Paragade to Renegon to full Renegade in 1, 2, 3, respectively. The exception being I don't treat my companions like shit...everyone else is fair game.

I’ve always played as a true blue Boy Scout paragon. That’s not changing.

This system never really affected my choices too much. I suppose my Shepard in ME2 might use slightly nicer dialog. Ultimately, the only choices I've ever been iffy about I'm that way because of how the choice is framed the logic of it or lack of it.

I didn't know they had made this change. But so far I'm playing pretty close to what I normally do which is paragon in normal conversations for the most part, renegade with enemies and big decisions. Given where my bar is I may be a bit more paragon than normal as I am trying to take a fresh look at it instead of let my baggage from past games effect how I treat people.

I’ve always played as a true blue Boy Scout paragon. That’s not changing. Me, too. I did make a few Renegade choices, like throwing that merc out the window, but otherwise I'm a good guy. I say absolutely every squadmate possible and as many races possible - at least until Destroy, when I sadly see the death/destruction of a certain race. (Trying to be somewhat vague here for spoiler purposes.)

I'm roleplaying a War Hero who was Renegade from the entire start, yet somehow due to the Skyllian Blitz is mistaken personally for something she's not. I like the idea of an adored and celebrity hero who's truly something else behind the scenes and beyond the facade of all the photo ops and the commotional construction of a supposedly "heroic" legend.

Same in regards to the ending choice as well.
