So, some more questions: Can I level up guns all the way to level 10 on a single playthrough on ME3? Is the sniper-power interaction just like it was on the original trilogy? For example, in ME2, when you activated a power, you would first activate the sniper scope and then fire it. ME3, on the other hand, had you not aim down your sights and fire the power right away. Did they fix random cosmetic/character bugs on the trilogy, like: a) Joker wearing Alliance fatigues when doing Tali's Loyalty Mission b - Joker not wearing his hat during the Ilos approach c) Weapons on Shepard's casual outfits on the Normandy before landing on the Citadel during the Coup attempt. d) C-Sec not having their own colors and wearing normal Alliance fatigues (TBH, that's a side effect of me wanting that after playing ME3 Recalibrated) e) Rotating Aria during Omega's DLC Speech and silent crowd? f) Tali's vanishing rock g) Those dirty hands everyone on ME3 had for no reason. h) Squadmates randomly sliding into you during Anderson's conversation in the Presidium on ME2. ( Fixed) (That's pretty much what I can think of) Does Conrad Verner still accuse you of pointing a gun to you? If not, how is his encounter on ME2 different because of it? If disk space was a problem in the original ME2 version, why can't I do Illium before Horizon now in the LE?

After about 20 hours in ME1, to me, by far the biggest (and most welcome) change is that weapons from different manufacturers now handle differently. There are semi-automatic assault rifles and fast firing sniper rifles and everything in between. I love it!

I had to open up a few threads around and I'm a bit curious about the changes made from the original to Legendary Edition since I'm not getting my hands on the game so early. So, why not compile these infos on a single place where we can show them and talk about it? So far, I've seen: - Tali's face stock photo has been replaced - Elanos Haliat is now a Turian, as once intended. - Kelly got a major change to her look on ME2. - ME1 characters completely overhauled to match ME3, like Udina and Anderson. Pressly's grey hair gone, Garrus' looks seem to draw some inspiration on that 2006 beta look and others. - Autosaves on Therum (other UNC Worlds as well?) and no more touching the lava is an instant kill - Thresher Maw leaves trails (revealed from the Bioware Blog) - All Weapons can be used, even if you're not a Soldier (is that true for ME2 as well?) - Canon FemShep through all three games. - No more red skies on Eden Prime. - The place where Sovereign landed (hidden convo on Eden Prime) is now full of debris instead of it being a plain scorched field. - Mako Handling - Photo Mode! So, what about you? Noticed something? How do you feel about those changes? What did you like and what you didn't like? Some pics for you! Tali's Photo: Kelly: FemShep Pressly (couldn't find other pic):

I already posted my ME1 list. I just got into ME2 (up to getting the Normandy), and here's what I noticed:
- They finally added mouse wheel scrolling in menus, but not all of them, and it can feel a bit janky.
- They added double click support in menus.
- They butchered the prologue. It no longer acknowledges your choices and they recycled a line that the Illusive Man normally says in his first meeting with Shepard ("We're at war. No one wants to admit it but humanity is under attack.")
- There's an obnoxious vignette effect that can't be turned off. This is, for some reason, different from the vignette effect in photo mode.
- I just made it to the Normandy and I haven't encountered a hacking mini game yet, only the bypass minigame. I'm sure there was at least one hacking game in the opening mission, but it's not there anymore.
So far, I prefer modded ME2 over the remaster.

Fist's 'office' can now be accessed after you recruited Tali and may or not have killed Fist. I don't think that was possible before.

Fist's 'office' can now be accessed after you recruited Tali and may or not have killed Fist. I don't think that was possible before. It was if you had acquired Emily Wong's quest, but then forgot to collect the OSD. Over the years, I've had to go back for it a couple of time.

I found out that on Casbin, one of the planets that you need to go to destroy the geth outposts, there this place that was guarded by Geth Armatures and Geth towers but there was nothing to do there. Now there is signal that can deactivate.
It doesn't do anything for the assignment but it's no longer a question mark on your r map that you can't do anything about it.

In the OT version, if you failed to hack into a container that contained loot (e.g. crashed probe), the option to repeat the hack would become unavailable and you would have to use Omni-gel to get into it. I just failed such a hack on Edolus in the LE and got an option to try the hack again. This is the first one I've fail, so I don't know yet if this is consistent yet, but it will sure lessen the demand for Omni-gel a bit if it is.

On XB1, Mass Effect 1, if you save over an existing save file, it keeps the name of the original file rather than renaming it with the newest save number.

Shepard can no longer "mount" objects that could be mounted in the OT. E.G. On Sharjilla, there's a medkit on some crates just inside the entrance that Shepard could get to by climbing up on the lower crates. This is not accessible in my game (Xbox One, insanity difficulty). All enemies have been defeated, so that's not what's blocking this.

The prompt for it is gone, though, so you kinda just have to know that it's possible.

I've tried several times and from several different angles and all that happens is Shepard takes cover against the lower crate. Perhaps someone else on Xbox can check this out to see if they can manage it. Might just be a bug in that platform.
ETA: It could also be that they've changed the control key for it on the Xbox One (used to be "A"). I'll go back into the building and try using some different keys to see what happens.
ETA2: It could be a bug that required a reload of the save since now my Shepard is mounting the crate using the "A" key without difficulty.

Put the guns down/holster, then climb/mount. Works every time

For PS4 it's X, so whatever that is on Xbox ONCE your guns are holstered. Really important.

Thanks to all who mentioned holstering the weapon before trying to mount. In all likelihood that is exactly what I was doing wrong.

- Kelly got a major change to her look on ME2. Based on images I saw, this wasn't an improvement. Note: I don't plan to own MELE so I'm just commenting on what you saw. - Autosaves on Therum (other UNC Worlds as well?) and no more touching the lava is an instant kill - Thresher Maw leaves trails (revealed from the Bioware Blog) Necessary? I guess maybe with the Mako, considering it can tumble down a mountain without a scratch. Why the thresher maw thing? Never bothered me. - All Weapons can be used, even if you're not a Soldier (is that true for ME2 as well?) Agreed but being good at using any particular weapon should vary based on class. If I'm trained to use a pistol am I really going to do well with a machine gun or sniper rifle? I have my doubts.

(That's pretty much what I can think of) Does Conrad Verner still accuse you of pointing a gun to you? If not, how is his encounter on ME2 different because of it? If disk space was a problem in the original ME2 version, why can't I do Illium before Horizon now in the LE? Talking about Conrad Verner reminded me of those plot flags for the UNC: Besieged Base and Shai'ra's quest. According to the Wiki, the bug for the first one was fixed and the ME2 News Terminal will now play the correct outcome. The second one, I'm not so sure it's a bug, but a deleted line for that matter, never mentions years of bad press if her quest is completed. Also, what about Executor Pallin's mention during ME2 and Codex Entries for ME3? Is he mentioned? Chellick is the Executor now?

I'm not sure, but the Normandy in ME1 seems less cramped and bigger on the inside. Yet still no bunks or bathroom facilities for the crew. I don't know, that bothered me even a decade ago. Maybe because I had been a D&D master in my youth and one of the rules was "don't forget the toilets" when designing a dungeon. Maybe that's because of the camera? ME1 has now a closer one comparing to the original. (if time stamp isn't working, go to 0:33)
