That was prototype. This might be something more akin to the Anthem 2017 gameplay video. Which still puts DA4, at best, 2 years away from release, in an Anthem like state. Which is not something that anyone wants. I have been told that "Bioware cannot go missing". Because, obviously, that shows a lack of confidence and they need to show up strong, every time. I'm still in favour of the BTS video, but I won't rule a gameplay demo out of the equation.

In any case, I feel much better than last year We are getting there, guys. Slowly but surely! As always the trouble has to do more with timing with anything. I mean as much as I hate to admit it or like it even  all signs point to the game being 2023...which don't get me wrong probably is for the best but that is an awfully long time to be showing anything too major yet. I'm not even sure it would be a good idea to do a title reveal until 6 months before launch date so anything like that or major gameplay or character or story reveals shouldn't happen until June of 2022 on.

After the news of DA4 being confirmed single player, I mused it would be at least 2023-2024 before it's released. I think mid-late 2023 is a pretty reasonable estimate though. If we get anything earlier than that I would be happy but also mildly apprehensive. xD
